Product Review: Ann Summers Zoe Necklace Top
This going out/partywear top from Ann Summers is gorgeous, as you can see from the photo. It's a lovely colour, and best of all, it's flattering.
For girls like me, who want to hide their tummy and show off their boobs a little without going overboard, this is perfect. The material hangs loosely, hiding your lumps and bumps, whilst accentuating your cleavage.
I particularly like this top because it's flexible. You can arrange it so you're showing just a tad of cleavage, like the girl in the photo, or you can pull it further up or down, dependent on how brave you are! Naturally, you'll have to make sure you're wearing the right bra, because any lines will show through the material.
It also comes with the clip on necklace, but I wasn't too keen. Despite some serious untangling and straightening out before clipping it to the top, the gems still kept twisting when they were attached, and it just didn't look right. So I wore it without.
If you're looking for something that's not too expensive and is girly, yet smart and flattering, you can't go far wrong with this top. You can wear it with jeans, leggings (or jeggings!), trousers, skirts, etc – it's pretty versatile so as long as the colours don't clash, you'll look (and feel) amazing.
Convinced? Grab one from Ann Summers' site – currently on offer at time of writing!

Totty Tuesday – Joseph Beattie
May I introduce you all to this week's Totty Tuesday, the delightful Joseph Beattie? Now, I know many of you are sitting there going "WHO?!" – but those of you that watched the supernatural programme, Hex, on Sky a few years back will know who I mean. He played a very naughty character called Malachi.
Unfortunately, the show never took off – though I'm sure given how many similar shows are out there just now with massive followings, should they broadcast it again I'm sure it'd get much more interest. Anyhoo – cutting a long story short, the show was all supernatural beings, fallen angels, demon and the like. It was gripping, gory and times and most importantly… it was damn sexy.
Michael Fassbender fans will probably know what I'm going on about, cos he was in it too, playing this delectable young man's father. What a family *swoons* !
Anyway, I'll shut up about Hex now as chances are none of you know what I'm going on about (not sure I do any more) but you may have also seen Joseph in Mansfield Park or Brideshead Revisited… if not, you should definitely check him out, though I think his finest hour was definitely as the devilish Malachi in Hex. That show does him much more justice in his full-colour, animated glory, rather than this photo. Believe me. *nom*

Uniform Behaviour Gets a Price Cut & A New Review!
For those of you that haven't yet got your hands on a copy of Uniform Behaviour, I have good news! Amazon have dropped the price, making it much more affordable to read these deliciously dirty stories about men and women in uniform.
Check out the price reductions on Amazon UK and Amazon US.
Also, whilst I was checking out the product pages, I noticed a new review on Amazon.com from a customer which made me very happy indeed. "Kimmy E" gave it five stars and made the following comments:
"This book sizzles from beginning to end and without a doubt contains something for everyone. Once I started reading I couldn't put it down. Just make sure you have a fan handy while reading, or if you live where it's cold like me, a snowbank. Stories like "Circling" by Cassandra Carr had me all hot and bothered and "Guard Mounting" had me wondering what's really going through the heads of the Queen's Guards as they stand guard outside of Buckingham Palace. Men in uniform are my weakness and this collection just proved how true that really is."
Congrats to Cassandra and Justine for the special mentions on your fab stories!

Cool Competition for Creative Types!
I just noticed that LoveHoney are running their Design a Sex Toy Competition again! It's been phenomenally popular for the past couple of years, getting loads of press coverage and stuff. Now, I wouldn't have the first idea where to start with something like this, but I'm sure some of you creative types out there have a few ideas.
Check out all the info here and read a fab interview with last year's winner. Don't forget, you get your OWN sex toy creation made into a real thing, as well as getting your hands on some cold, hard cash. What's not to love?

Product Review: Ann Summers Midnight Sky Underwear Set
Those lovely folks over at Ann Summers sent me some more lovely goodies to write about. I have the occasional moan at their poor PR peeps about not being able to get bras in my size – so it's very cool when they send me stuff that not only fits, but is pretty.
The Midnight Sky underwear set is no exception. This style goes up to a G cup, so us ladies who are bigger up top aren't left out! This set doesn't have the option of a thong, it's briefs only, but they're very pretty and sexy, as you can see from the photo.
My thoughts on this set were very favourable. It's very beautiful, and also comfortable. The design means that it's not suitable for wearing beneath tight tops as you'd see the ruches in the fabric. However, it's definitely OK for day or night wear – though I'm sure most ladies' partner's would prefer to see these in the bedroom – or on the floor to be more precise!
This set also comes in at a reasonable price, which you won't begrudge paying for Ann Summers quality. If you're looking for some new undies, you can't go wrong with these.

Six Sentence Sunday – 20/2/11
Here's a snippet from Bite with Height which is to be my first published story with Noble Romance, due around April. I'm very excited!
As the coppery blood filled her mouth, Meg felt like she was in heaven. She felt energy flowing into her, and as Grace bucked and trembled in ecstasy on the stone bench, she felt love. Pure and simple. She knew that Grace might take some further persuading, but Meg believed she'd found her soul mate.
Withdrawing her fangs and licking the tiny wounds to help them heal, Meg looked up at Grace, now spent and slumped against the wall, breathing heavily.
Grace returned her gaze, a lazy grin tugging the corners of her mouth, and said, "That was incredible."

Gotta Have It – Rachel Kramer Bussell (ed.)
Rachel Kramer Bussel is a legend in the erotica world, so I'm always happy to read and review books she's either written or edited. Gotta Have It is no exception. It's packed with 69 (yes, that's right) smutty stories which are shorter than short – I believe the brief was less than 1,200 words.
When I saw the list of authors involved, I was even more eager to get my grubby hands on a copy. I have to say, I was definitely not disappointed. Of course I had stories that I liked better than others, but there certainly weren't any tales I didn't like. Each one is short and to the point – perfect for snatching a five minute break during the day, or as a relaxer (or arouser) when you collapse into bed at night.
What I liked best was the variety of stories. What they all had in common was brevity and eroticism, but that's where it ended. Some stories were about couples; some about strangers. There were stories indoors, outdoors, on the floor, in the kitchen, on a plane, in a changing room… you get the idea.
Overall, this is a very hot, very high quality read with a great mix of new and established authors. Whether you're looking to dip your toe into the short story pool or you've been immersed many times – you should definitely add Gotta Have It to your TBR list!

Call for Submissions: Mythology Anthology
Call for Submissions
Untitled Anthology
Mythology theme
Editor: Lucy Felthouse
Publisher: Um… me!
Deadline: 30th April 2011
Payment: To be determined – details below
Having thoroughly enjoyed the process of editing my first anthology, Uniform Behaviour, I thought it'd be fun to do another one. This time, however, I put the theme of the anthology out to vote and mythology won! So I kept my word and this is the theme for the as yet untitled eBook. Details are as follows:
I'm looking for stories involving mythology. I want myths and legends from all over the world, and from different periods of time. You can set the stories in the past or the present. That's pretty much it! Just send me erotic stories from the depths of your imagination.
Please stick to the usual rules, i.e. no underage sex, no non-consensual scenes, incest and other yucky stuff. No poetry, please. Normally I'd also mention bestiality here, but given the theme of the anthology I suspect there are going to be creatures of some kind involved!
I will select 25 stories for this anthology and then split the proceeds equally, dependent on what I receive from each outlet after they take their cut. I'll be submitting to the usual retailers; Amazon, iBooks, Smashwords, etc. I look forward to reading your stories!
How to submit: Send double-spaced Arial/Calibri 12 point black font Word or RTF document. Your story should be 1,500 – 4,000 words. Please indent the first line of each paragraph half an inch. Please include your word count, real name, pen name (if applicable), and 50 word or less bio in third person. I'll also require the email address you use for your PayPal account, as this is how I will be paying you when I have myself received funds. You can submit as many stories as you like – within reason!
Please send your completed story to lucy (at) lucyfelthouse (dot) co (dot) uk. In the subject line, please write Submission for Mythology Anthology. I look forward to reading your stories! Closing date is 30th April. Providing I'm not totally swamped with stories, I'll do my best to come back to you by the end of May. Any questions should also be directed to this email address.
ALSO: Please spread the word! Feel free to post this call on your own blogs/sites, Tweet about it, Facebook it, anything! The more the merrier!

Happy Valentine's Day!
Happy Valentine's Day, everyone! I haven't got anything sappy to say, but regardless of whether you're loved-up or single, you should totally check out Rebecca Bond's awesome Valentine's Day story on Erotica For All. It is HOT.
OH and I actually did our Valentine's Day gift-and-card-exchanging thing over the weekend as we only see each other weekends. We only buy little gifts – and mine was a CozyRug thing, y'know the blanket-type things with sleeves? Well, the timing was brilliant because it's cold here today, so I'm wearing it! Win!
Anyway, in totally non-Valentine related news, I have good news! I am proud to say I can add another publisher to my list of credits. The lovely people at Noble Romance will be publishing my story, Bite with Height, probably sometime in April. It's a tale inspired by my visit to Paris, last September. I fell head over heels in love with the Sacre-Coeur and knew it would probably find its way into a story at some point. When I was larking about on the roof of the building with the OH I did think it would be a pretty cool place for a vampire to hang out. And so the story was born.
I don't want to give too much away, but it's a tale about a female vampire that lives in Paris. Meg has a very interesting way of occupying her time, but she's lonely. One evening, she bumps into Grace and suddenly, Meg wonders if things are about to change…
I've also had a story accepted into Xcite Books' upcoming anthology, Best of Both, so that's another one to look out for! I'll keep you posted!
For those of you spending time with your OHs today, enjoy. Single people – play online and eat chocolate. That's what I'll be doing! And working, of course
