Totty Tuesday – James Marsters

Spike

OK, OK, I know I'm waaaay behind the times on this one. Mainly because, a decade later than everyone else, I'm finally watching Buffy. In fact, the only episode I have left to watch is the very, very last one and I don't want it to end! :( **no spoilers please**

So it's taken me all this time to get to know the sexiness that is James Marsters, aka. Spike. It's also taken me this long to decide whether I fancied him or not. Being a sucker (no pun intended) for them, I've always liked the accent, despite the fact that it's fake. But having watched the character go through multiple changes over the course of the seven series – I have to say that I've decided I definitely would.

I especially like Spike in his punk years, despite the fact he's properly evil then and kills the slayer that turns out to be Principal Wood's mother. But hey – we must remember it's only a show – and he looks gooood….

So whaddya think, Spike fans? When is he at his hottest, in your opinion?

Product Review: Ann Summers Lace Corset Pink

Ann Summers Lace Corset Pink

Having done write ups on various bras, pants and things that take batteries from Ann Summers, I thought it'd be nice to cover something a little different. So when this beautiful corset turned up, I was a happy bunny (no pun intended).

This pink corset with black lace is every bit as stunning as it looks in the photo and still looks pretty good on someone like me, who is just a tad (read: much) larger than the model in the photograph. Because I'm big up top, I opted for a bigger size than I would normally need in tops and it was a wise move. As you can probably tell from the photo, the top of the corset doesn't have 'cups' for your breasts as such, so they're pushed upwards and outwards. For this reason, there's no way I would ever venture out into public wearing this corset! It looks quite obscene on me!

However, all joking aside, it's a beautiful piece and in a stroke of genius, fastens at the front. You can't exactly surprise your man by turning up and saying 'Hi, I have a sexy outfit, but you have to dress me in it first.'

So for those of you that are either very brave, or slimmer than me, this corset is perfect for either public or bedroom wear. It's excellent quality and comes in at a really reasonable price. Check it out on the Ann Summers site now.

Book Review: Rosemary Entwined by Bianca Sommerland

Rosemary Entwined

Rosemary Entwined is Bianca Sommerland's first published book, and I sure hope it's not her last!

Rosemary Entwined is like a modern-day Snow White. Only instead of an evil stepmother, it's Rosemary's birth mother that's evil.

Rosemary is a cambion; a half-succubus, half-human. Her mother hates her because she is beautiful and she feels threatened by her, much like in the aforementioned fairy tale. Both women need a nest of men to survive and Rosemary's mother knows that her daughter's beauty is such that her own nest may abandon her and go to Rosemary. She has no intention of letting that happen and never stops trying to injure or kill her offspring.

Aside from her evil mother, all is not well in Rosemary's world. She has a nest of men, there to feed her insatiable hunger for lust, but there is much more to the relationships between them. Each man has genuine feelings for Rosemary, and equally, a little piece of her heart belongs to each of them. However, the nest is not complete. Rosemary needs a prince to strengthen the nest – but it appears her prince is not amongst her men, meaning she has to let one go. Although she wants each man to have a normal life outside of the nest, the thought of letting one go for good breaks her heart.

Soon, she is left with no choice. It becomes a matter of life and death and Rosemary and her men have to act fact in order to keep them all alive.

This was a fab read! I've read lots of paranormal stuff in the past, but never anything quite like this. Rosemary Entwined mixes fairy tales, supernatural creatures, love, lust and erotica together effortlessly and produces a book you won't want to put down. I confess, I did struggle to keep track of all the men in Rosemary's life, but with all that hot sex going on, it's no wonder my brain was fried!

If you're into this unique kind of erotica, then you won't be disappointed. It's excellent.

Six Sentence Sunday – 13/3/11

Here's a little snippet from my story Sofa, So Fun, which is to be featured in Xcite Books' Best of Both erotic anthology, due for release in May.

He was standing in the darkness at the bottom of the stairs. And who knew how long he'd been there.

By now Kristin had realised something was wrong, and followed Shayna's horrified gaze to the shadows at the bottom of the stairs. Before either girl had chance to react, Dan moved forward out of the darkness.

"Nice show, ladies. Don't let me stop you."

Totty Tuesday – Jared Padalecki

Jared Padalecki

Long-time readers will notice that I've actually had Jared Padalecki as my Totty Tuesday before. However, given the total gorgeousness of this photo, I didn't think any of you would mind.

If you have no idea who this lovely man is, then I must tell you, you're missing out! He's one of the stars of Supernatural, an American TV series about two brothers who hunt… well, the supernatural. The guy who plays his brother, Jensen Ackles, is also pretty damn fine, it has to be said. So if you're into that kind of show, and this yummy, YUMMY, picture has tempted you, then I suggest you head off to Amazon to get your hands on series one of the show, and prepare to DROOL.

And, to all you Sam Winchester fans out there, let's hook up on Twitter – there are regular conversations about the Winchester boys on there. And trust me, none of them are clean ;)

The Perfect Submissive – Kay Jaybee

Having read lots of Kay Jaybee's work, including Quick Kink 1 and The Collector, I was interested to see how her fab short story writing skills would translate to a longer piece. The answer? Fabulously.

The Perfect Submissive is set in an upmarket hotel. Four of the floors are full of ordinary rooms and ordinary customers. But the fifth floor is a different story all together. For on this floor of the Fables Hotel, five specially adapted rooms wait; ready to cater for the kinky requirements of its guests.

The tale follows the story of Jess Sanders, a new booking clerk at the hotel. When she catches the eye of Laura Peters, one of the managers of Fables, her life is destined to change forever. Jess' meek attitude is the perfect addition to Mrs Peters' specialist staff on the fifth floor. All it will take is a little education.

We follow Jess' journey as she goes from unsuspecting clerk to the perfect submissive. And it's a hell of a trip. She's put through various trials so Mrs Peters can work out whether she is worthy of being promoted to the fifth floor permanently. If she makes it, she'll be expected to cater to the exclusive clientelle that pay good money to make use of those mysterious rooms. But is it what she wants? Only one way to find out…

If you've read some of Kay's work before, you'll probably be expecting a great deal of kink, so you are pre-armed. But The Perfect Submissive is more than a little spanking here and there; it's definitely not for the faint of heart. If you like your BDSM dark and full of tension, then this is the book for you.

Overall, a fab read. Absorbing from beginning to end with lots of delicious twists and turns, it left me wondering when the sequel is coming out!

Six Sentence Sunday – 6/3/11

My anthology, Uniform Behaviour, has been given a price drop on Amazon, as well as receiving some more fabulous reviews. So in celebration, I'm going to share some more smutty sentences from my story, Just Couldn't Wait. Supernatural fans might recognise the male character…

Reaching across to claim her flute of bubbles, Carla took the opportunity to study the waiter more closely. She reckoned he was around the same age as her. He was tall; incredibly tall, actually. Six foot four or so, Carla guessed. He towered over her, even though she wore heels. He had dark hair, roughly chin length and clearly with a mind of its own.

My Virtual Bookshelf

iBooksOn discovering that Uniform Behaviour had gone live on the iBookstore, I decided to have a little play around and grab samples of all the books available which contain my stories. Naturally it'd look better if the "shelf" was full, but I still think it looks pretty cool, right? Hopefully The Great Outdoors Vol 2 will be appearing on there soon too. Watch this space.

Admittedly I don't read books on my iPhone any more due to my lovely Kindle, but for those of you without eReaders, this is definitely a viable option. So why not check out the books? Uniform Behaviour in particular offers a delicious sample as it contains the first story in its entirety – Fireman's Lift by the awesome Miss Rebecca Bond.

And don't forget, if you buy a copy in the UK, you can be in with a chance of winning a Rampant Rabbit!
