The Undoing of Langston Black – T. Harrison

On reading the blurb of this novella, I wasn't sure what to expect. It sounded very much like a crime story and I wondered how the erotica was going to fit into it. However, as soon as I started reading, I got it. The underlying theme of this story is lust. Langston lusts after a [...]

Past Pleasures – Charlotte Stein

Sci-fi isn't really my bag, so I admit I was a little worried when I started to read this novella by Charlotte Stein. Everything else I've read by Ms. Stein I've loved, so figured it was only fair to give Past Pleasures a go. And whaddya know? I'm glad I did. Yes, it's sci-fi as [...]

Seducing the Vampire – Michele Hauf

Seducing the Vampire is the second book by Michele Hauf that I've read. I loved the first, which naturally  made me want to read more by the same author. Although this book wasn't quite as good as Her Vampire Husband, it was still  damn good. This book tells the tale of vampire Viviane. As a [...]

Monica's Secret – Saskia Walker

I've read quite a few of Saskia Walker's stories and books now, and I have to say she is awesome. Ms. Walker writes in many sub-genres of erotica and yet she does all of them brilliantly. This dirty little tale is no exception. Monica's Secret is a novella from Total-E-Bound. The main character, Monica Evans, [...]

Six Sentence Sunday

Here's a snippet from my story Just Couldn't Wait, which features in newly-released anthology, Uniform Behaviour.

Once he was close enough, she pressed her hands against his chest, then began popping open the buttons of his shirt. Carla felt like she was unwrapping a present. A delicious present. She undid the buttons only to the top of his waistcoat, then pulled the sides of his shirt apart to reveal her prize. Jackpot. The guy was sculpted to perfection.

A Fun Business Meeting!

25th November 2010 – I'm sure those of you who've attended business meetings in the past are wondering how on earth that statement is possible. But when the "meeting" is between an erotic writer and an erotic artist, well, things are bound to get a bit smutty!

I hadn't seen Jackie Adshead for a good few months. You know what it's like when life gets a bit hectic… Well, as a result of this we naturally had tons to talk about – and we talk a lot anyway! The other evening was no exception. When we'd got the more mundane everyday chat out of the way, we moved on to our erotic work, had a giggle about people's perceptions of what we do, and so on. Naturally, I won't be repeating what we talked about, but rest assured we had a good laugh!

We always seem to have a positive effect on one another. Beside the fact that seeing your friends and catching up tends to lift the mood – we always seem to inspire each other creatively. I've written stories in the past based on Jackie's art, and she's created images based on my stories, so we definitely have a fab and very productive working relationship.

If you haven't seen any of Jackie's art, you should go and check out her website. She paints "vanilla" subjects too, but I know you'll be wanting to see the erotic stuff, so go here.

Quick Kink One – Kay Jaybee

Quick Kink One delivers exactly what it says on the tin. It's a single author anthology, full of short erotic stories. This type of book can either be fantastic or terrible, dependent on whether you like the author's writing or not. Luckily for me, I love Kay Jaybee's writing style and so found this eBook fab fun and whizzed through it in a couple of days.

It contains twelve mucky stories. They're all wildly different and very imaginative. I've certainly never thought of dictionaries as being so erotic before – let's just say that Kay has completely changed my perception! The stories cover straight couples, lesbians and bisexuals. There's 'straightforward' sex, bondage thrown in, a bit of voyeurism and some serious kink.

What's great though is that there's nothing that's so 'out there' or niche that it would turn someone off. It's all lighthearted naughty fun and will get you feeling frisky in the time it would take for the cover model to kick off that sexy red shoe. Definitely recommended!

Available from:

Amazon.co.uk

Amazon.com

Xcite Books (UK)

Xcite Books (USA/CAN)

Xcite Books (AUS/NZ)
