Hot Men - Wet Weekend
Here's something to close out the work week and get you thinking about a long hot weekend.
I've been thinking about jumping in the water lately... No clothes, clothes, makes no difference... It's hot! [image error]

Hot Male Monday
Can't resist those eyes. While I'm writing the eyes have it. Lovers make eye contact, the sexual tension builds, their imagination takes them to fantasy affairs, and they haven't even met!
The unknown mysterious stranger is sexy because he's everything you imagine. You don't want him to speak and ruin your illusion. He's perfect as long as he follows the behavior you mapped out for him in your mind. All he has to do is fulfill your dreams, not your nightmares.
No belching, no high pitched voice, no ignoring your conversation...okay you get the drift.
Romance heroes follow the rules...it's why we keep coming back for more! [image error] [image error] [image error] [image error]

Tuesday's Two Sentence Caption
[image error]
I needed to relax. I worked out this morning and thought this picture would help me cool down. Ha! The scene looks refreshing. Now for my caption. Here are my two sentences:
Michael said, "I gave it my all and only hope it was enough for you, too. If it was then I'll die a happy man, if not give me twenty minutes and I'll try again."

Hump Day Hunks - Hot for Body Hair
[image error]
Not apologizing...I really like a man to have body hair. Bears bring it on. ;-)
Usually I rant on Wednesday...but these guys mellowed me out early. I'm getting ready to write a menage scene so I need all the inspiration I can get. I like some hair on my men. I know we see can't the lovely definition as well through the shadows, but hell, I plan on using the Braille method, anyway. I'll tough it out and feel my way through. So what do you think? You gonna' toss any of these guys out of bed for a little fur. The men I'm writing about today are mountain-lion shifters, so there's bound to be some golden fur to play with. Have a great day!

Hot Male Monday - Channing Tatum is GI Joe and Magic Mike
Do we have any idea what makes a star?
Check out the eyes and
his expression...charisma
Channing Tatum grew up in Tampa, and step after step is becoming a new star rising. Check out the movies he's in this year. For his full bio
GI JOE
Channing Tatum as GI Joe
What makes success? One actor a star, a movie a block buster, a book a best seller? Well, luck plays a part..being in the right place at the right time for an actor to get noticed is as important as a book or movie release timing. An actor has to have the right look, a book the right cover, a movie the right poster or trailer. That being said, above all, an actor must have charisma. In books personal charisma can be likened to the author's voice, in a movie to the director's vision. It's that certain something that sets it apart from everything else...the sparkle in the eye, a clenched jaw, attitude. In writing we should be able to express with words what actors and directors do in film. Develop the character, build a world, express emotion, cajole the reader away from cooking or work, drag them if necessary kicking and screaming into our world and our story.
I guess at the moment, I'm working on putting that sparkle into my next book. Since I'm working on three, we'll see which one develops the initial charisma first. Here's an excerpt from the shapeshifter western: I think I'm going to have to do a poll for a title. I'm notorious for long titles and I'd love to pick a shorter one. If you have an idea please leave it in the comments. Oh! There are more Channing pic's below. Enjoy!
SHIFTERS by Eliza March (all rights reserved) WIP - Thank God, Lacey Hampton hadn’t changed. Brandon watched her tight efficient body hop up onto the horse. She whipped the mare around, and her loose, golden curls, pulled back in a clip, glistened and bounced around her shoulders. She’s prettier and smaller than I expected. The words formed in Brandon’s mind as if Carter had actually spoken them. Not possible. Carter was presently purring contentedly in the sun in his mountain lion form, lounging like he didn't have a care in the world on the rock above Brandon and his horse. He flipped his tail in interest watching as Lacey rode off. “Everyone underestimates her. She’s competent, sexy, smart... Hell she’s more everything.” Must be if she handles all this land and looks like a wood nymph. Fragile.Brandon glanced over his shoulder and shrugged at the golden cat who sounded more interested than he looked. It appeared that nothing could get his attention until Carter turned to him with a sharp glint in his cat eyes, forcing Brandon to push back the jealousy. The sudden urge to follow Lacey, as he had in the past hit him hard. Blood rushed to his groin. Thinking about the way they’d been together... His jeans suddenly felt too tight and forced him to adjust them. Not easy while he was seated in his saddle. Her scent still haunted him, her taste—“She’s hard to define.” Almost as hard as your cock.“Leave my cock out of this.”Can’t. It’s very important to our plan if you want to survive. There’d been a reason Brandon rode out here to meet her, but now seeing her...he hesitated. Something kept him from stepping forward. He wasn’t ready to face her and explain. Not yet. A plan was what he needed and courage. He’d have to think this through and gather the guts from somewhere because they couldn't wait much longer. What a helluva mess. He scrubbed his hand over his face and frowned. She didn't know there would be consequences for making love to him. No, it hadn't been making love that caused this. It was falling in love with her. They'd made the mistake of falling in love with each other. When she'd vowed she loved him, without realizing what he was doing, he’d unknowingly claimed her as his mate. He'd left her because he wanted to save her from what he was. Walking away... Running away without a word almost killed him. But if looks could kill, she would've done him in when he walked into the reunion party last night. Lacey made her feelings damn clear. She didn't want anything to do with him. She wasn't shattered. She was pissed. There had to be a way to explain what he was--what she was--what he'd done to her--and convince her they couldn’t live without each other. Facing her anger was inevitable, because he couldn't let her go through what he had alone. Besides, she deserved to know why he'd left, and he and Carter would help her through her transition. He still had to face her. Brandon breathed a sigh of relief as he watched her gallop off in the opposite direction,. “You going after her?” “I don’t know.” Brandon shook his head and looked up. Carter stood next to the rock, a man now, naked and muscular. “What the hell? Why did you shift?” “We have to go down there and look around. I don’t want to spook her horses. My cat would rile 'em up. They’re not used to our scent the way our horses are.” “Well, for fuck’s sake, will you put some clothes on before someone thinks we’re playing Brokeback Mountain out here?”Without commenting, Carter raised a sarcastic brow at Brandon before reaching in the saddlebag and pulling out a set of clothes.

Rachel Leigh is back hanging out with me...
Hi, everyone! I'm so excited to have Rachel Leigh back for a visit. We're just hanging out by the pool talking about writing and the books we have published. She has several books available now and is going to tell us a little about her new book which will be coming soon from The Wild Rose Press.Hello, Rachel it's good to have you back in my little naughty corner of the world. I can't wait to visit you tomorrow at your BLOG. Thanks for answering a few questions for me and my visitors.
E) We're curious. How would you describe your writing space?
R) My writing space alternates from the couch to the kitchen table to the patio table – depending on the weather and where my kids are! I have a 14 and 11 year old so the noise level dictates where I write once they are home from school. During the day, I am usually on the couch with the laptop and a big black Labrador!
E) How many books have your written and which is your favorite?
R) I have written five novellas – two of which are published with The Wild Rose Press, the third is contracted with them and in the final editing stage, another is under consideration and the final one is on my laptop ready to go out in the next week or so. Hopefully four and five will soon find homes.
E) What comes first, plot or characters?
R) Usually an idea – not the entire plot, much to my annoyance! I have an idea and then I have to figure out how to get from A to B. I am much more character driven in my stories as I think all romances are – and a pantser. I have a premise and let the characters lead me from there. Yes, there are always more than a couple of drafts, lol!
E) Do you ever suffer from writer’s block?
R) Never – don’t believe in it. You’ll have bad writing days but you just have to write through it. Yes, three quarters of what you’ve written that day might be deleted along the way, but a quarter of it will be kept. No writing time is a waste of time as far as I’m concerned!
E) Tell us about your latest book?
R) My latest release is Coming Back, available now from The Wild Rose Press. Here’s the blurb:
Kelly Hampton loved once...and lost. After two years of looking for Sean MacKenzie in other men--and failing miserably--she takes a vow of celibacy. No sex until she finds love. Then Sean strolls back into her bar, reigniting old flames. No one has come close to understanding or satisfying her like he did. Her body burns for the passion they once shared, but her heart still remembers the pain.
Sean escaped Jessop Hill and his father's fists in the middle of the night without a word--even to his love, Kelly--to protect his battered mother, but he never forgot the explosively erotic relationship he left behind. Now his father is dead and Sean is back for the only woman he's ever wanted. Their reunion is full of fire – but can sexual attraction and noble intentions overcome years of heartache or will Kelly walk away to protect her heart this time.

E) What’s next for you?
R) I am just in the final editing stages of my next novella. Zante Heat is the title but check back at my website for a release date. This is my longest story yet at 34,000 words. It is about a British hero and heroine who have come separately to the Greek island of Zante looking for a new beginning…and find each other.
Here’s the working blurb:
Chef Michelle Hutton flies from the UK to Greece in search of a new beginning. Her first encounter is with a sexy, pro-bono lawyer Sam Clarke.
In need of a job and a future – Sam’s sister has a restaurant in desperate need of a new chef. Michelle soon wonders if Sam is also the key to her future. He seems too good to be true and her trust has been broken over and over. He’s sexy, capable and totally in control. Too damn hard to resist…
Sam Clarke is on a mission to help women in jeopardy. When he meets Michelle with hair like a sheet of gold and eyes bluer than the ocean, the electricity between them is hotter than a live wire. He soon learns she’s more than capable of demanding and getting what she wants. She doesn’t need him; he should walk away…yet time and again he goes back for more.
Thanks for answering my questions and for visiting with us today. I loved meeting with you again!

The Romance Reviews Erotic Romance Madness Hop
Today I'd like to welcome all you BLOG HOPPERS from The Romance Reviews!
Here's a little something about one of my books. I write erotic menage romance, and yet sometimes I think some stories are just more romantic than others. Is it merely because of the conflict between the hero or heroes in this case and heroine? I'm not sure. But in Sultry Santorini Sunsets three Atlantean warriors gave up their emotions centuries ago in order to save the rest of their nation from destruction. The story takes place in what remained after the volcanic eruption - modern day Santorini in Greece.
In my opinion this may be my most romantic erotic romance because the men have no ability to feel. They can't be genuinely romantic, and yet with the help of Miranda (the heroine) they begin to experience and share emotion. This concept of no emotion just sensual pleasure versus pleasure plus emotion resolves the issue of whether sex is better when two (or more) people have an emotional attachment. Here's a little about the book. If you're interested there is a link at the top on this page to the excerpts and the BUY page.
I'm posting a POLL this month. I'd love to know which of my books you found the most romantic. So before you HOP to the next blog, would you please check one of the boxes to the right. Thank you.
Find out where all the participating erotic authors' blogs are CLICK the BUTTON at the bottom of the page to HOP to the next Blog. I'll be entering participants who leave a comment here (with their email address) in a random drawing to be held at the end of the week. Winners will receive their choice of one of my eBooks. Every comment with an email address will be entered. On May 16th I'll be announcing my winners on this page and I'll be visiting with author Rachel Leigh.
You'll want to leave a comment here when you stop May 10th through May 14th and definitively visit on Monday for next week's Hot Male Monday...
