Stephanie Morrill is the author of several young adult novels, including the 1920's mystery, The Lost Girl of Astor Street). Despite loving cloche hats and drop-waist dresses, Stephanie would have been a terrible flapper because she can’t do the Charleston and looks awful with bobbed hair. She and her near-constant ponytail live in Kansas City with her husband and three kids. You can learn more about her on her author site: StephanieMorrill.com.

Me, Just Different (Literature & Fiction)
1 chapters   —   updated Jan 26, 2009 08:25AM
Description: Welcome to the world of Skylar Hoyt, a high school senior whose exotic Hawaiian looks have propelled her to the height of the "in" crowd, but who's no longer sure that's where she really fits. New friends, old friends, a reluctant romance, and a family crisis swirl around Skylar as she tries to keep it together and figure out who she really wants to be. Debut novelist Stephanie Morrill opens her first young adult series with a compelling story about characters every teen will recognize and relate to.

“You'll wake up one day and find you're almost forty, and you haven't done any of the things you wanted. That you let in so many voices when you were trying to make decisions, instead of listening to the One voice that mattered, that you never decided anything at all.”
Stephanie Morrill, The Revised Life of Ellie Sweet

I had this crazy idea, and I hope this is an okay place to share. Have you heard of those book subscription boxes, like Owl Crate? Well I had this idea to start making my own book boxes. They would be clean books for Christian teens, by authors like Stephanie Morrill, Nadine Brandes, and Lisa Tawn Bergren. A friend and I teamed up to do it and we're calling it WishLit. Do you think it would be a good idea? Would you be interested in it? Do you have any tips?

That's a great idea!
