Lesbians Kicked Out of Restroom
A lesbian couple who were mistaken for men were kicked out of a women's restroom in a London movie theater. The two women were obviously devastated to the point of frustration, but it doesn't sound as if there was any overt discrimination. The security guards really thought they were men and they thought they were doing the right thing. But it does sound awfully extreme.

RIP Taylor Negron
The openly gay comedian who once played a character in the film, Fast Times at Ridgemont High, has passed.
His cousin, Chuck Negron of the 1970s band Three Dog Night, announced his passing Saturday (10 January) in a YouTube video.
'I want to inform you that my cousin Taylor Negron just passed away,' he said.
'His mother, his brother Alex and my brother Rene and his wife Julie were all there with him.
'May he rest in peace.'

One of the reasons why I'm not fond of National Coming Out Day is because it seems to be celebrated more by those who are NOT gay than those who are. Yes, I know it's support, and it's coming from a good place. But it's blind support because no one, unless you are gay, can ever understand what it's like to be in the closet. And all those who are in the closet have their reasons and I don't think it's wise or fair to push them out because of peer pressure.

This link actually reminds me of something that happened to a friend of mine. In the 90's a friend of mine was a dentist in Philadelphia. He lived full time in New Hope and commuted. Without going into a long story, someone spread a rumor that he had AIDS and his dental practice fell to pieces. He eventually had to stop practicing dentistry and he sued the person who spread the rumor for defamation. He wound up with a good seven figure settlement...but at what cost? He...
