Here's an article about people who were homophobic bullies before they realized they were gay. It also discusses how different things were for previous generations of LGBT people, and how differently we grew up from the generation of teens we're seeing right now.

Many seem to be up in those cliched arms because Pope Francis recently compared transgender people to nuclear weapons.

Colin Farrell Beat Up Bullies
Colin Farrell is a strong supporter of the LGBT community partly because his own brother is gay. But from what I remember he has been a supporter for some time. I watched him play a bisexual in A Home at the End of the World at least a decade ago...a film a highly recommend if you haven't seen it.

Bobby Cannavale Soft Porn
I'm a fan of Bobby Cannavale, and was long before he did the male full frontal nude scene in Boardwalk Empire. In fact, I stopped watching Boardwalk Empire after they killed off his character. It was a good series of fiction wrapped around real life, but in the end they kept killing off the characters I loved the most, which frustrated me. And the big problem was they didn't introduce new characters that could compete with the old.
In any event, here's a link to inform...

I've been following these polls for a while out of curiosity. As the fight for equality progresses and more LGBT people are coming out, marrying, and focusing on family life, the mainstream is becoming more and more supportive in ways I honestly didn't think I would ever see in my lifetime.
According to the report issued by the largest gay civil rights group in the country '60% of likely voters support marriage equality, a new high point.'
