Dr. Barnard discusses how to lower Alzheimer’s Risk

This has never been more true than today when we can share this video of an interview with Dr. Barnard of The Physician’s Committee for Responsible Medicine. Marilu has been very involved with PCRM and has supported them as a favorite charity for many years. In fact, during her first season on Celebrity Apprentice she played for PCRM.
During this upcoming season she is playing for The Alzheimer’s Association and not surprisingly this is also an area of interest for Dr. Barnard and PCRM.

DAY 4
We’re on Day 4 of WHAT DID YOU EXPECT ? This is a good time to let you know that joining late is never a problem. The information from the first three days is still there, the coaches and members are still giving feedback on those discussions and there is time to catch up.
Many people have expressed an interest in joining for our March class and being a part of the fun as we become the project managers of our own lives, following along with Celebrity Apprentice and using that as motivation for our own lives. Happy Valentines Day
Flowers and Chocolate? Sure. But why not think outside of the box?
Treat someone you love to something that will encourage them on their health journey. From a new water bottle to a spa weekend there’s something to fit every budget. Here are a few suggestions:
gift card to a sporting goods store or a gym
gift card to Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s or any local health food store
hiking gear
sugar and dairy free dark chocolate
a new journal
a pack of new socks
a home cooked meal delivered to the door
cookbooks
ingredients for a healthy meal
some free time in the form of babysitting, chores etc.

Keep in mind that this is a holiday that encompasses all sorts of relationships. Don’t get stuck thinking that it’s just about romantic love. Think about the people in your life who could use an extra boost today.
