Almost done with Isla!
As you may already know, my dark romance series, The Cañon Series is thicker books and longer stories. And Isla is coming no different, I'm at 101K words and have a ton more story to tell. It might end up around 130K words like Hamilton, the third book in The Cañon Series.
She has four lifetimes to cover: her childhood abuse, her exploited minor abuse, her amazing parents that adopted her and then her new life in NYC. It's been a fun book to write dipping into her past and telling two stories in one. BUT, that means a ton of trigger warnings and a pretty aggressive traumatic scene from her past. Be sure to check out the content warnings on my website before diving into this series!
Now back to writing so I can deliver Isla to you on time, by April 1st!

Travis had an interesting idea for their first time
I'm deep in the trenches of writing Isla, which is turning out awesome if I can say that of my work. It's dark and moody, the tone reflective of the whole series and why I picked the cover.
Isla's petite, sweet, and in Travis Jackson's eyes, "Perfect." She really wants to make her new life in New York work after having a super shitty start to her life. Alas, she does get a glimpse of happiness until I take it all away and send her on another journey of self-discovery. I mean, life does it to us, of course I have to do it to her.
However, in writing the first sex scene, it took an odd turn, one that surprised me when Travis decided to mix the playwright process with sensual lovemaking for their first time together. Join my newsletter where I share spicy little excerpts well in advance of the book coming out.

Happy Valentine's Day Eve!
I LOVE Valentine's Day and sooooo wanted to give you a sexy cub experience but alas, my publishing scheduled had Isla up next.
And since I can't leave y'all hanging, I wanted to send over my pack of Cubs to keep you from getting lonely tomorrow night. 🤩 With as diverse as these guys are, you're bound to find one you like.
Kadus isn't out yet, but I know I've shared him with you in the back of Giovanni's book. He's just as stunning as the other guys. He's coming this summer, faster if I can get my anthology written after Isla is completed.
Now sit back and enjoy what the guys can do. Happy Val and Galentine's Day to all you beautiful people❣️

Happy February!
Last month was a blur. I had every good intention of putting out a spicy romance book in time for the spiciest holiday of the year, Valentine's Day, but life had other things in mind.
All focus is now on Isla, releasing in less than two months. This is the next book in my dark romance series, The Cañon Series. This book is much anticipated by readers wanting to know about Isla and her backstory. Specifically, how did she become an exploited minor, traveling with a long haul driver for nearly a year until curvy and feisty Dani Winters rescued her from a truck stop on the edge of town in the first book, Tomlin?
Unlike the Cougars and Cubs Series 💋 where each book can be read as a standalone, Isla cannot. It will make far more sense with the other characters involved to have read the series. The good news is that Tomlin is free to read on most major retailers❣️

Giovanni releases in 9 hours!
Technically, Giovanni goes live at 12:01 am, so it's only a matter of hours before this handsome cub is in your E-reader!
Early readers are telling me that they LOVE this couple. Giovanni is toothache sweet and swoonworthy with quiet, reserved Kacie. The years fall away as each is made for the other; their personalities are so well matched.
I LOVED writing this couple❣️ We got a preview of how easygoing Gio was in Sebastian's story. But diving deeper into his own story, he turned out to be such a golden retriever cinnamon roll that had some readers asking where they could find a man like this in real life. That's a HUGE compliment.
And Kacie. . . she fights for those that don't always have a voice and seeks justice on their behalf. Seriously, you'll love this couple and the body positivity that flows out of him for her as she struggles with her weight (as we all do 🫣). Gio LOVES his curvy Kacie with a lot of "good girl" thrown in.
And trust me, I didn't let the sweetness skimp on the steamy scenes. There are plenty of those, too, especially the insights into how much Giovanni loves her body while pushing into it. Oh my!!

My Mom
As some of you may already know from my social media post, my beloved mom passed away unexpectedly, and I'm heartbroken. Although she lived a beautiful and full life, I wasn't ready to let her go. I'm still not.
To say my mom has always been my biggest supporter and cheerleader is an understatement. She was my best friend, confidant, and crisis counselor through all my trials and tribulations in life. How do I say goodbye to someone who has been there for me in countless ways over countless years? I can't even begin to tell you I'm still struggling with accepting this new reality.
In writing her eulogy, I realized she was a maverick who lived life to the fullest, having tried and done everything she wanted. She left no stone unturned and had very few regrets. During one of the hardest nights, when my soul hurt so much, I wanted to vomit. I started writing about her. But how do you fit a million moments into a few all-encompassing paragraphs of heartfelt words? I still don't know how.
When I told her I wasn't sure if I was cut out to be an author, she told me it was too late to quit and that I must continue. When I showed her the covers to my new series (The Cougars and Cubs ones) she said, "Oh, my, these are . . . dear, no one is going to buy books with naked men on the covers. Why don't you use flowers instead? They make prettier books."
Her conservative mid-western values made me laugh on more than one occasion. She passed as I was finishing Giovanni's book, but she did say his cover was striking.
According to one beta reader, Giovanni is toothache sweet. Sensitive, supportive, and far more introverted than Seb, by a long shot.
So in honor of Mom, I hope you like his book, despite the naked man on the cover.

Giovanni is DONE!
Giovanni is done. In the bag. That's a wrap. Yay! It's with my developmental editor as we speak and then after a few minor changes, it heads to my line editor!
Giovanni is sappy, sweet, and a little dominant in the best way. He loves surprising Kacie and it's loaded with them. However, one surprise is not a good one which sends him reeling and scrambling to get her back.
This couple is the opposite of sassy Seb and Chloe if you read their Christmas romance. Giovanni and Kacie are smart, introspective, and sweet with each other. But don't let that fool you, they are SPICY with each other. With a few "good girl" dropped in.
I'm in the process of writing the next book in the Cougars and Cubs Series 💋 which will be Kacie's little brother. He's barely mentioned in her book, but that's another surprise for her when she shows up at his doorstep!

I’ve been speaking this into reality over the weeks leading up to 2024. Most everyone I have talked to has had a difficult year. Ever since Covid in 2020, each year has brought new or different challenges. Those seemed to eclipse our lives, goals, and dreams. If gains were to be made in the last three years it seemed to only be in inches.
That’s not good enough.
As we’re at the precipitous of a new year, let the gains be in miles. Long, endless, nearly immeasurable miles in the pursuit of our dreams, goals and the life we want.

I'm so excited to share Sebastian and Chloe's story with you! Sebastian makes the perfect little stocking stuffer this cozy holiday season.
The sass and spice between these two are off the charts! So far, readers are LOVING them! Sebastian is a wealthy playboy who does and says whatever he wants, which is not the best way to start off with prim and proper Chloe, even though she has a naughty side waiting to be discovered by him.
