Whiskey Throttle Releases this Month!

To say I'm excited about this release is an understatement. The last 3 chapters are explosive, over 5K words each and TONS of emotional drama, fallout and fist fights. I think it's been one of my most tension filled taboo relationships I've ever written!

I can't wait for ya'll to read it and tell me what you think! I hope you love Hollister and his pleasing ways as much as I do :0)

🚨 Writing Update! 🚨

I just shared an exclusive scene excerpt from the twins or aka chaos kings as I nicknamed them last week in their book, Twisted Throttle, in my newsletter.

If you're not subscribed... why not? You're missing all the good stuff.

Between biker chaos, forbidden hookups, and one very unlucky cocktail fork, things are getting wild over there.

Whiskey Throttle is almost here, and the sneak peeks are only heating up. 💋

How I wrote the explosive scene between Dom and Hollis

When I sat down to write the big fight between Dominic (your Pinned Throttle heart-throb) and the eternally laid-back Holli Holls, I knew it needed more than just flying fists. I wanted that clash to crack open every character’s world: Dom’s simmering protectiveness, Holli’s devil-may-care charm, and of course Em’s signature recklessness.

With only a few chapters left to tie up Whiskey Throttle, I’ve also been planting seeds for what’s next in our Bikers of Boston world. Look for little nods, Easter eggs if you will, to the coming book!

Much love-
GiGi

Summer Reset Series on my GiGi Meier Podcast

Hello beautiful people!

I'm kicking off a new Summer Reset Series on my weekly GiGi Meier podcast. You'll be hearing from me twice a week for the next eight weeks.

I got the idea on a road trip of how we have six months left in the year, and I still have a ton of things on my vision board and goals list that I want to achieve.

Summer tends to have a more relaxed schedule-wise, as we're not in carlines, sports practices, or afterschool activities.

Thus, I thought, let me use this time productively in small ways that matter more than I think they do.

Here's where you can find them every week as I post them: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast...

THANK YOU!!!

I was on vacation in Colorado with my sister and daughter, visiting the places we were born and driving all around that beautiful state. We also saw Coldplay, which was AHHHHMAZING.

Even more special than that trip filled with tons of beautiful moments is coming back to reading all the excellent reviews for Pinned Throttle. I've read, laughed, smiled, and teared up reading how much you lovely readers have liked and loved Dominic and his Marlowe.

This book was a little outside my comfort zone, as it involved murder mystery and suspense, but I truly loved the way they found each other, even in the worst circumstances.

Dominic is a complicated man, and even when he deviated from the script I had planned for him (typical controlling Dom), it ultimately turned out better for him and them in the long run.

I love his character, growth, and development so much and think his TV criminologist is the ying to his yang in sooooo many ways.

Thank you for giving me this lovely high. Now back to writing Holli's book and hoping it can live up to the fanfare of Dom's story 😊

3 DAYS. That’s all that stands between you and brutal, brilliant Dom

Dominic Barrett doesn’t play nice—and readers are loving every second of it.

Early reviews are pouring in for Pinned Throttle and they’re unanimous: this is GiGi Meier’s most gripping, sexy, and unforgettable book yet.

“I loved this book. It's my favorite of this series… absolutely freaky, but fantastically sexy at the same time.”
—Kathy, Ahmazing Book Faerie

“In my opinion this is by far her most compelling book and characters to date… Claudia is strong, intelligent, likeable… their chemistry is undeniable.”
—Dawn H., Goodreads

“At first, I wasn’t sure how much I would like Dominic. He’s a genius… but also a jerk at times. I soon found myself as intrigued and drawn in by him as the mystery.”
—Lindsay, Goodreads

“A FMC that is a baddie. The fact that he does not feel threatened by her intelligence was absolutely sexy.”
—Genoveva, Goodreads

“Danger, fear, pain, and drama. I can only recommend this book.”
—Marianne W., Goodreads

“I loved the control Dom needed and the love for the Dr. he was feeling and couldn’t let go.”
—Kathleen W., Goodreads

Dominic is complex, commanding, and impossible to forget. Claudia is the only woman sharp enough to cut through his darkness. And together? They combust.

Pinned Throttle drops in 3 days. Add it to your TBR or preorder now—you’re not ready for how deep this one goes.

Dom Was a Beast to Write, But I’d Do It Again

I really do love writing. Getting to live different lives and slip into the minds of people I’ve made up? It never gets old. And the fact that you lovely humans keep reading what I write? Truly—what an honor. I don’t take it for granted. I’m blessed, plain and simple.

Now, let’s talk about Dominic.
Whew. He was harder to write than I expected. I LOVE HIM—like, deep in my bones—but he’s broody and layered, and I knew from the beginning that his story wasn’t going to be light or easy. It couldn’t be something typical or expected, which is how the mystery angle came in. And since I don’t usually write thrillers or suspense, it took a lot of extra planning (and calls with my developmental editor) to get his storyline to land the way it needed to. But we got there. And honestly? I’m so proud of him.

Writing Dominic also reminded me of something important: even the people we love the most can be frustrating and rewarding at the same time. That felt like a personal growth moment—one I’m still working on in real life. 😅

Pinned Throttle is officially dropping in 10 days, and Dom? Yeah. He’s a 1️⃣0️⃣.

You’ll see even more of him in Whiskey Throttle, since it’s his mom that Hollister’s going after. That book is way lighter, more playful, and dives into the world of the East Coast elite and serious generational wealth. It’s been fun (and also eye-opening) to write.

The goal is to get Whiskey Throttle out by the end of August... but with school out as of today and two teenagers at home, productivity might take a hit. I may need to move into a hotel for the next three months. If you’ve got kids or teens, you know what I’m talking about. 🤪

Thanks for being here, and for loving these characters the way I do.
xo,
GiGi

ARC Readers Wanted!

Pinned Throttle is officially in deep edits, which means… it’s time to open ARC and Street Team signups! I’ve been (im)patiently sitting on my hands waiting for this moment, and now it’s here—and I’m SO excited to finally share it with you. So head to my IG to sign-up!

This is Dominic’s book. If you’ve met him in The Cougars and Cubs Series, you know he’s not the fun-and-flirty type. He’s moody. Brilliant. Brooding. And somehow, it took a criminologist and a serial killer on the loose to break into his emotional fortress. I didn’t plan for this to be part mystery—but honestly? I couldn’t imagine him falling in love any other way.

Dark, twisted, and angsty with all the steam you’ve come to expect—Pinned Throttle is completely different from my Cougar romps, and I love it for that. The release is set for the end of this month, and I’m counting down the days!

Meanwhile, I’m already 15K into Whiskey Throttle, which is Hollister’s story—with none other than Babs. Yes, that Babs. Dom’s mom. And yes, Holli and I are both very nervous about how Dominic is going to react when he finds out… 🙈 But to quote Scarlett O’Hara: “I’ll think about that tomorrow.”

P.S. I realized I never named Dominic’s dad—probably because he’s such a jerk. So I’m hosting a naming contest inside The Cougar Den, my private Facebook reader group. Want in? Join the group and vote or submit your names here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/autho...

Pinned Throttle is DONE—and whew, what a ride.

FINALLY!!!
This might be the funnest and hardest book I’ve written in a while. Dominic is dark, broody, brilliant—and completely brootiful. (Yes, I made that word up. It’s the love child of brooding and beautiful, and if anyone deserves it, it’s him.)

I swear, I fall in love with all my MMCs, but Dom is a complicated cookie—hard to love, easy to fall for once you get inside that messy genius mind of his. And Marlowe? Oh, she figures him out so fast. Their pairing was pure magic—one I didn’t even see coming. Sometimes your characters grab the pen and write themselves, and that’s exactly what these two did.
(With a few too many F-bombs, smirks, and... yeah, he definitely smells like weed most of the time.)

After giving me—and my developmental editor—a run for our money, Dom’s story is now off to my amazing line editor. And guess what? I’m hoping to release it two months early! I’m that obsessed. I just can’t wait for you to read it.

Now let’s talk Holli.
He’s the sunshine to Dom’s storm. The golden retriever to Dom’s black cat. And yes, I did pair him with Dom’s mother. I couldn’t help myself. There’s so much delicious backstory between them that demanded the spotlight, and it all starts in Dominic’s book.

Heads up: the reverse age gap in Whiskey Throttle is the biggest I’ve written—almost twenty years. But listen... kings, athletes, actors, and rock stars have been doing it forever. It’s time us ladies get the same luxurious fun. 💅
