Shiny new idea syndrome
Do you ever have one of those days, or week, in my case, where you know what you should be doing and you still don't do it?
That's me because I have been distracted by shiny new ideas to the point that Hamilton's story is a little behind because I have been writing and having a lot of fun with my smut novella that I plan to offer in June for free.
It's ridiculous to choose one book baby project over the other but that's what I have done. Chosen one child over the other which every good mom swears she'll never do.
Share in my distractions, by telling me what you are doing versus what you should be doing. I'd love to hear!
We can be procrastinators together!

Spring has sprung!
I hate to brag but the weather in Houston has been pretty amazing this week. (Don't tell the mosquitos!)
Bulldog and I have been writing poolside and enjoying it before the heat and humidity make us melt into the concrete.
I have started Book 3 in the Canon Series and am approximately 8700 words in. If you read my books, you know that's not much.
I confess I got sidetracked with a shiny new idea about writing a downright smut novella about a hot young Italian guy hitting on my FMC. It came to me at 5 am one morning last week and I've been writing about that instead. Not cool, since Book 3 has a deadline and this fun smut doesn't.
Can you blame me when all I want to do is fantasize about Paolo? Yes, that's his name too. Smoking hot.
Anyway, hope you have a happy hump day and if you want to fantasize about Paolo too, by all means, he'll be available to everyone in a couple of months or so.

Takahashi Released on 4/24

Takahashi, the conclusion to Dani and Tomlin's story was released yesterday, and I couldn't be happier with the love and support I have received from readers.

Ahhh, I love how strong they are in their own ways, and it really complements each other well.
Dani is hot-tempered and foul-mouthed, albeit the tongue piercing is a reminder for her to change her ways. Tomlin is patient and pragmatic, almost as unyielding as Dani. Both have to learn to bend and compromise and therein lies the fun.
Now that Dani and Tomlin are out in the world, time to get started on Book 3 in the series, i.e. Hamilton's story. And let me tell you, that sweet little cinnamon role is not what you think. 😂

Cover Reveal
I have been so excited to bring you Dani and Tomlin's story from enemies to friends to lovers.
Dani Winters is feisty and unforgiving, residing in her tiny little bubble of a life.
She meets her match in a tall, handsome and arrogant Tomlin Takahashi. Both are used to calling the shots so sparks fly when neither wants to compromise to get what they want.
I have to admit, I wrote so much of their story because I didn't want it to end so this is Book 1 of a duet.
No cliffhanger ending, just a continuation of their story in Book 2 to get to their happily ever after.

That being said, I updated my blurb for Tomlin on here while sheltering in place in my closet.
I'm going to do my cover reveal next week to those folks that are subscribed to my email list.
Don't miss out! You can subscribe on my website.

Cat's out of the bag now.
I recently added my second book that has taken me way too long to write and is going to be broken into a duet since their story is so long.
A very rough blurb is up and I have a Pinterest board under my name with the character profiles.
But here's the gist of the first book, Tomlin.

Three time Judo Olympic Gold Medalist, Tomlin Takahashi wants his classic car restored by the best preservation in the area, Dani Winters.
Dani Winters doesn't take on restoration by elitist and entitled jerks that want to jump her year long wait list, especially when they broke her best friends heart.
Sparks fly when they both don't get what they want.
Book One of a Duet. Full length novel with no cliffhangers but Dani and Tomlin's story continues in Book Two.
Enemies-to-lovers, interracial romance, slight age gap. Dark themes mentioned, check site will be updated closer to release with full list of content warnings.
