Skater – excerpt I

Another of the works in progress is currently titled Skater. It’s a working title… it had a different one last week, but the characters changed a few things up on me. It is a domestic thriller/romance. It’s a little different from my normal fare. I don’t have a timeline for it yet, but hopefully it’ll be polished up in a few months and ready for release.

Looking for a few Beta Readers

I have two stories I’m looking for Beta Readers for. One is a compilation of a few stories about Gunny Grafton. For this one, it would be best if you’d read the rest of the Dixon-Prince books. Two of the stories in the book are mostly complete, although they will likely undergo some revision. The third story is the one I’m stuck on… I don’t want to give away any spoilers though. It’s called Grafton (right now).

The other one is a full draft. It is more along the lines of romantic-suspe...

Reviews – The Name of the Game

The hardest thing about being an independent author is getting reviews. There are plenty of sources… I can pay for people to review my book… and I can offer free books in hopes of getting reviews, as well as other, similar paths.

But getting good, honest, independent reviews is tough. Read More

Amazon uses an algorithm to serve up every product you look at. Books are no different. And at the basis f their algorithm is one central quest… to make a sale. In the case of books, reviews are w...

Jenny’s Death Star II

Following the release of Triple Cross, I have been working on a coupe of other projects. Friday I published some of the excerpts from one I’m working on centering around Gunny Melody Grafton. the project also will have a story about a character that is yet to be introduced. Today I have an excerpt from another unpublished project… The working title is:

Jenny’s Death Star

Some Gunny excerpts

These are excerpts from something I am still working on… I have several stories about Gunny Grafton and a surprise character. I am still fleshing these out and don’t know all of the action yet, but I do have some preliminary excerpts.

And don’t forget, if you enjoy the stories you read here on the blog, you can pick up a FREE ebook, Escape, for signing up for the free newsletter. There are regular editions each week, highlighting the posts to the blog, as well as special mentions of sales...

Planning Vengeance – all excerpts

Planning Vengeance was my first novel. It led to three more spun from the same characters. It begins the story of “The Broken Path”. That story is concluded with the second book in the series, Dig Two Graves. Together, they introduce most of the characters from the Dixon-Prince series. Some of those characters spill over to Triple Cross, as well, but that is a separate story. I hope you enjoy… all of the excerpts are linked below. Read More

I wrote a shorter book and decided to offer it for free for people that sign up for my newsletter. The newsletter generally goes out once a week with the links back to the blog posts for the week, although there might be a bonus if I have a sale price on a book, a free book offer or a new release.

Regardless, the ebook is yours even if you don’t stick around on the newsletter. Just to get you a little interested, I posted up a few excerpts from it, linked below. Read More
