FREE Book… this weekend

Jack and Amy were average high school students, each with a crush on the other, but oblivious to the other's affection. Amy was with Paul, though. Until she wasn't.

Converting…

I can recycle some of the work I've done so far, and the scenes are the same, just often requiring enough of a rewrite as to mean it's easy to just write it over, but at least I don't have to re-imagine the scene.

But I don’t have a Kindle…

But, that doesn't mean you need a Kindle device.

Ahhh… NaNoWriMo… I’ve missed you

I don't plan on writing the first word of the story until Tuesday. I have written a synopsis, so I know where it is going (not something I always do).

E-Book Advantage 1 – Updates

I am not a perfect writer. At all.

By the time I release a book, I have read it at least a dozen times. Generally, those reads have been over the course of months. I try to set each book aside for a minimum of a couple of weeks before I give it a “final” edit… at least final before I send it to beta readers. Before that, I have read and re-written the book over and over.

After beta reading, I have a template of mistakes to fix (thanks, Marj… one of my favorite beta readers… she is VERY th...

In The Works

As I mentioned in my last post, I had stepped back from the blog a little since June. I released Angel (Guardian Angel/Angel of Death) on July 15th, and had been working on the post beta read edits and getting it polished up for release. I have also been working on a few other books…

First is Shining Star/Drowned/some other title yet to be realized. It is more of a pure romance (sweet romance… nothing graphic). There are some action scenes, but it is more about the primary relationship betw...

Passed a Milestone

I’ve been a little preoccupied lately. I have ignored blogging to concentrate my energies elsewhere. I need to be better about that. But it also is what it is.

As of the middle of July, I crossed the 10 book bridge. I published my 10th book, Angel (Guardian Angel/Angel of Death) on July 15th. Currently it is only published to Kindle, and available for either $4.99 or FREE if you are a subscriber to Kindle Unlimited. I will publish it to paperback in the not too distant future.

Quickly ab...

Just A Month – BTS

Just A Month is the newest project in my queue. I started it less than a month ago, but have put down about 35,000 words. It is the story of a guy that hated where he grew up. Largely it was because of one girl, the girl next door. She had gone scorched earth on him when they were barely teens, and then everything snowballed.

The last couple of stories I’ve written have leaned more toward romance than action. This one stays on that trajectory. I have been wanting to try something like this f...

Just A Month – excerpt II

This story didn’t exist a month ago. I’ll tell more about that on Friday, but suffice to say it is my most recent story, but has grown to over 35k words in the last few weeks. It is the story of Morgan Wilton, a photographer that escaped his small town, until his father’s death forces him to go back and confront the reason he left. The girl next door. He’s changed in the eleven years he’s been gone, and so has she. As life spirals around him, the woman he’s hated for over a decade might be his o...
