Undercover, clip 2
This is a “probable” excerpt from an unreleased book… it is actually still in development. The working title of the book is Undercover, but that also will likely change. It is the story of a man, set up for a heinous crime that he didn’t commit, and the struggles to clear his name. There are lots of secrets and a little romance. If you enjoy the clip, you might like some of my already published novels. A great place to start would be with Planning Vengeance, my debut novel and the first book of ...

You Don’t Know Jack, excerpt 4
This is a fun read, full of action and adventure, with some romance thrown in. It is the third book in the Dixon-Prince series, but you don’t need to have read the first two in order to understand the story. There are some cool “Easter eggs” if you’ve read the other books, though. Check it out on Amazon here, for Kindle, or you can go here for the printed version.
Nicole had a big day planned. She’d expected to be in the kitchen all day, but Mike had called the day before to ask her if she w...

First Excerpt from You Don’t Know Jack… Part II
The girl was almost in hysterics. She’d been kidnapped two days before in Chicago. Her father was a prominent politician, and wealthy. They’d called and demanded a five-hundred-thousand-dollar ransom. Gunny’s team had been called in after the ransom demand. When the kidnappers called again to tell them where to drop the money, which was supposed to happen later on that day, they had traced the call back to this farmhouse, a hundred and fifty miles from Chicago.
“Tasha,” Bobby said calml...

All About Gunny Grafton
Gunny is a fun character to write. He is a hero and an anti-hero. Originally, I didn’t see how central of a character he would become, but he definitely won me over to giving him a bigger part in the series. In fact, I have two books I’m working on where William “Gunny” is the central character.
The things you need to know about him are that he is NOT fearless, but acts in spite of fear. He is not blindly loyal, but is fiercely loyal. Family and friends, which of he often thinks of as ...

Excerpt 1 of You Don’t Know Jack
Gunny Grafton looked over the farm for the last time just before the sun rose in southwestern Indiana. He was a quarter mile west by southwest of the homestead. Ronny Torres was his back-up. A similar distance away from the homestead, but a few hundred yards to Gunny’s north, Gino Bell was doing the same. Bobby Gomez was covering Gino’s back.
“I don’t see any movement, One,” Gino said into his radio.

“Roger that, Two, negative for movement here also,” Gu...

Another Dig Two Graves excerpt
Ed jumped out of his Jeep and grabbed the lock on the gate. He quickly unlocked it and swung it open. There was a car coming down the street toward him, but he would be in and going before the car got there.
As the Jeep started moving forward, the gate started swinging closed again, by itself. Ed used the Jeep’s bumper to push it back open. As he cleared the gate, red and blue lights flashed on top of the approaching car, and the loudspeaker blared, “Stay right there until I identify you...

Dig Two Graves Excerpt
Here is a short clip from Dig Two Graves (link to Kindle edition).
“What’s wrong, Chrissy?”
…
“What do you mean she left in a panic?”
…
“I’ll be right there!” Bill replied to his wife.
As he dropped into the seat of one of the company pick-up trucks, he keyed up the team, “My daughter just ran crying out of the house. My wife said she was on the phone and then just grabbed her keys and left.”
“Shit, Alpha. That doesn’t seem right,” Gunny noted.
A moment later, Ed came...
