DON'T GIVE UP ON JESUS...HE NEVER GAVE UP ON YOU.

I really planned to write a totally different blog today. But through prayer intervention, my heart takes me to this title and blog.

My heart has been heavy for a few days, with all that is going on, I felt like I wanted to ask my heavenly Father a question, " WHERE ARE YOU"?. I just want to run to your arms, I just want to say, " come quickly Lord Jesus", take us, your children out of this mess.

Being I am all about spreading the " good news" Jesus Saves, Jesus saves, my heart turned to this blog. Don't give up on Jesus...He never gave up on you.

I just want to speak the name of Jesus. Over every heart and over every mind. Cause I know that there is peace within your presence, I speak Jesus.

Declaring there is hope and there is freedom, I speak Jesus. That's why I was confident that my new 30 day devotional with its title was so fitting. From My Heart...I Give you Jesus.

I know that my Lord Jesus Christ is the answer to your every need. So... I wanted to give you Jesus. His name is power, His name is healing, His name is life. He breaks every stronghold, shines through the shadows, burns like a fire. When we " speak the name of Jesus", He is over every fear and all anxiety, He is to every soul held captive by depression, just,

" Speak the name of Jesus".

When I think of ALL He is to us that believe, how would we ever think of giving up on Jesus?

He is always here for us.

That's when I say, " shout Jesus from the mountains," "Jesus in the streets," "Jesus in the darkness over every enemy." "Jesus for my family," I speak the Holy Name of Jesus, cause I know that there is: Peace within His presence.

His name is Power, His name is healing, His name is life.

Don't give up on Jesus...he never gave up on you, or will He ever. Isiah 41:10 " Fear not; for I am with you; be not dismayed; for I am your God; I will strengthen you, yea, I will help you; I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.

So... If He is your God, the Lord Jesus Christ, by faith in the cross of Calvary, we need not fear. John 6:37. He is yours and you are His for eternity. Don't give up on Jesus, He never gives up on you as His redeemed, blood-bought child.

I'm glad, I decided to write this blog and not my fearful one, " GOD WHERE ARE YOU".

I know, Lord where you are. Right in our midst, when we acknowledge that " You are who You say You are. " THE GREAT I AM!.

ARE YOU OKAY... ALOT ARE NOT! HELP A BROTHER OUT!

As I walked through the vitamin aisle of my local Walmart store, I couldn't help but see how many new products were on display pertaining to calmness, sleep help, stress relief, and even ones that say, " a cure-all for our many headaches" these are associated to the time we find ourselves living in.

Friends, we need to address these issues. If you are one like me and find it harder and harder to really get a handle on just why we are taking "stuff" to ease these situations, and not as a Christ believer, finding we do not turn to the great I AM for our hope instead, this is for us.

I'm a natural type A personality, so I stay with anxiety. I'm really not a worrier but my mind stays very active most of the time. I used to fill it with projects, like trimming bushes, staining the driveway, painting my fireplace, ( yeah, it does look good). But with my recent hip replacement, God has said," you don't need to focus on those things.

I said, "but Lord, I do rehearse in my mind beautiful Godly song lyrics most of the night I should be sleeping, and praying for so many hopeless souls" No, that doesn't let me off the hook!

So, going back to the sleep aids, calmness pills, more energy, and on and on that is on the vitamin aisle at our local pharmacy stores... Why do we not turn to the Lord? He tells us so many times in the Bible scriptures that we are to " be not anxious" Matthew 6;34.; or proverbs 3:5-6"lean not unto your own understanding, "Jeremiah 33:3 "call unto me, and I will answer." The promises God gives us in scripture are never-ending.

If we are still here then we are left for His purpose, we are to tell many of His redeeming Love, His sacrifice on the cross for our sins. We are responsible for sharing the good, good news. Jesus saves, Jesus Saves.

So... let us not say we're okay, and still walk the vitamin aisle

to find our relief. Let us find those in need and help a brother out. There are more suicides now than ever in history.

I know all about that from my sister's life, those chapters are in my book "My Christian Journey Through a Fallen World."

Sounds like many are either trying to prolong their lives with peace, ( vitamin aisle) busy preparing for retirement that they neglect preparing to die.

So... I ask are you Okay? seek the one that can do it without the vitamin aisle.

I'm speaking to myself also. Let Jesus meet our physical needs as well as our Spiritual needs.

STRUGGLING IN LIFE ?..LET ME TAKE YOU TO THE COMFORTER.

If you were able to read my last week's blog, you know I had suggested taking a scripture that you are singling out of your devotional time and using that all week as your " word and staple for the week".

This week I have chosen the scripture from John 11:40. You will know the story of Mary, Martha, and their brother Lazarus.

I'm sharing this particular scripture because it applies as a comfort to my very hard week. Many know I am recovering from a major hip replacement, and that is going much better, except for good quality sleep.

But as Christ believers, we are aware of how Satan loves to attack the child of God.

Yep! he made sure that there was other chaos going on. I know that even then, my God has to allow it, so I rest in His Sovereignty.

My number 2 son's wife, who has had a life of surgeries (and she's only 37,) had a sickness that went on for a couple of weeks. Then with her resistance very down, she caught Covid-19 from her office personnel. This began an extended time of sickness with several rough times

But, because I believe, I know that God has not left us comfortless. He tells us in John 16:7 as Jesus would go away, he would send the comforter, the Holy Spirit. And we also learn that in Hebrews 4:15, " for we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one that who has been tempted in every way, just as we are- yet He did not sin." That's the comforter that I want to bring you to in your time of struggles.

The reason I cling to my scripture that I said would be my scripture for this whole week, John 11:40 is that it tells me like it did Mary and Martha, I can expect a MIRACLE. Praise God!

We are told that if we believe we WILL see the glory of God. What a comforter is Jesus Christ my Lord.

When Satan brings doubt, I say, " did I not say that if you would believe, you would see the glory of God". John 11:40. When more bad news comes, I say again, John 11:40

Friends, we have the Holy Spirit our COMFORTER, and I know, that I know, He will not leave me comfortless. Come to Jesus as your Savior, then you will know that when life hands you struggles, and it will, you have the one that will be your comforter to run to.

I hope you'll find your verse from your devotional time that will be your verse for all week.

Then meditate on it, breathe it in, cling to it with all your heart. Let it bring you to the COMFORTER. I am praying for you.

GIVE IT TO JESUS...HE IS YOUR HELP IN TIME OF NEED!

I realize that many people use a devotional book for their daily Bible studies, and I am one of those that do. I wrote one. " From My Heart ...I Give You Jesus."

But, what if you had a devotion that would cause you to study that devotional Bible scripture for the WHOLE WEEK!. Just think how much you would learn from scriptures by focusing on that scripture passage for one whole week.

Here's my example to ponder: Psalms 108:12-13.

Are you weary or you heavy laden? I know the old song that goes, " Give it to Jesus", and those are great lyrics, BUT; Annabell a widowed lady, 89 years old was thinking one morning as she began her daily struggles in life trying to keep up her 60-year-old run down-home, trying to live on her modest Social Security income, trying to be active in her church home of nearly 40 years, when she had an overwhelming urge to give up with all that was life to her.

She sat down in the old comfy, weary chair she found herself always setting in and said:

"Self, there has to be more to life than this! "

My cares, struggles are getting the best of me. I so need a word from YOU GOD that tells me why should I even want to go on?

As she opened the tear-stained weathered Bible her eyes fell on Psalms 108, verses 12-13.

" Give us help from trouble for vain is the help of man. Through God, we shall do valiantly for He shall tread down all our enemies. "

She decided that this would be her verses for the whole week. When aging pains hit her she would quote Psalms 108:12-13, She said," doctors, ( man) hadn't helped me, no man since her husband died had helped her on house repairs, even, sadly the church as much as she loved hearing the word and worship music was not her victory." This scripture would be her total answer in all situations."

It's God that would stamp out her enemies, ( satan's attacks) God would do valiantly.

She used this word all week. The victory was hers!

Find your Bible scripture, use it for the whole week. Live it; breathe it; meditate on it each day. Let it lead you to the cross. Hallelujah!. A strong Bible scripture lived out each week gives you strong help. Annabell said," I think I'm onto something great! I do too.

Try it, see how strong your walk with your blessed Savior grows and your knowledge of the

" spoken Word"

KNOWING WHO OUR GOD IS...LETS ME PRESS ON

Today, when I ask myself; soul, why are you weary, why are you downhearted?

It's another day, the Lord has made, aren't we to be as the scripture says, " I will be glad and rejoice in it "?. Psalms 118:24.

Yes, I know that and yes, I need to stop and think, who is this GOD?. When I think about our mighty Lord, the creator of the universe, the one that holds the whole world in His hand I am actually ashamed to feel anything but contentment and praise to this great I AM!.

So... I start reading in Bible scriptures of all the ways that He is SO GREAT!

I see that before the world was formed, it was void and without form. Genesis 1:1 So what happened?

Psalms 104:1 tells me You are great! You are clothed with splendor and majesty. Let all the earth rejoice. 1 Chronicles 16:31 tells me; let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice, let them say among the nations, " The Lord reigns". The King, clothed in majesty, let all the earth rejoice. He wraps Himself in light, and darkness tries to hide. and trembles at His voice. How great is Our God !.

Psalms 147:8-9 He provides rain for the earth, makes grass grow, Gives food for the animals

Psalms 90: 2 tells me; Before the mountains were born or You gave birth to the earth and the world even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God.

Psalms 30:15 lets me know; My times are in Your hand. You knew when I was born..and You know when my last breath will be taken. You are the beginning and the end. You are the Godhead Three in one: Father, Spirit, Son.

Titus 3: 4-6 lets me know that because of Your kindness You as our Savior appeared to give us Jesus to forgive us of all our sins. Ephesians 2:18-22 gave us access in the Spirit to You the Father.

You're the Lion and the lamb. Revelations 5:4-8 describes how because of You as the Lion on Judah, You are worthy to open the book and its seven seals. And as the Lamb, You were slain for our redemption. Philippians 2: 9-11 continues, that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow, every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is LORD, to the glory of God the Father.

So..... HOW GREAT IS OUR GOD? Knowing WHO HE is, lets me press on to what He has in store for us His born again children. I have nothing to fear. My God is an Awesome God.!!

Please sing with me: How Great is our God, How, Great, how Great is our God! And all will see: How GREAT, HOW GREAT IS OUR GOD!

SPEAK LORD, SPEAK,! ...YOU SERVANT IS LISTENING

I was drawn to 1 Samuels 3:3 where Samuels was called by God as he lay sleeping in the house of Eli.

The scripture repeats how Samuel heard a voice being called, over and over.

He jumped from his sleeping and ran to Eli and said, " Here I am". you called me. But Eli said, " I did not call: go back and lie down." This happened again and again, as scripture points out.

The Lord called, " Samuel!!" So Samuel got up and went to Eli and said again, " Here I am; you called me."

My son. " Eli said. "I didn't call; go and lay down." Then Eli realized that the Lord was calling Samuel. " Go and lie down, and if he calls you, say" "Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening". It goes on to tell Samuel that the Lord, our God was about to do something.

I use this scenario, from scripture to convey what I feel is a word that I, and maybe even you, need to listen for a word from the Lord. I'm listening for a word from God in my particular circumstances. " Speak Lord, Speak!

There's a scripture in 2 Chronicles 15:6 that is so fitting for the chaos we find ourselves in at this season of life. But in their distress, they turned to the Lord, the God of Isreal, and sought him, and HE WAS FOUND by them.

My friends, we are in the same scenario of Second Chronicles 15: 5-6. In those times there was NO peace, in their going out and coming in, for GOD troubled them with every possible distress. Did you just read what I said? God troubled them. GOD TOOK THE BLAME!

I see in the old testament when God's people departed from Him. Judgment followed soon behind. Because of Jesus and His death for our sins, God doesn't rain down fire and brimstone, or send floods, like in Noah's day. But we can experience God's passive wrath. His passive wrath is described in Romans 1:24, 26, 28. It says God turned them over to impurity. And then later to disgraceful passions. A third time, He turned them over to a corrupt mind. Do you see? We are here!.

I see this as to why the pandemic, the uneasy rest, the inflation, the Government problems, the troubles in our going in and coming out, bring no peace. God is trying to get our attention. Remember Second Chronicles 15: 5-6. They found no peace. And just like then is true today, God caused the unrest.

Will you say with me?, "Speak Lord, Speak, Your servant is listening." I'm Looking for your comments on how the Lord is speaking to you. SPEAK LORD, SPEAK...Your servant is listening. Because He is SPEAKING!, We just have to LISTEN!

GOD...YOU DO MIRACLES SO GREAT!

IT IS NOW DECEMBER THE 8TH, I've been waiting with pain for six-plus months to have this hip replacement surgery. Today is the day. Lord, I've prayed through this decision, you know I have looked to you to let all go well. Jeremiah 33:3

My husband and I arrive at our scheduled time 8:30 am We are put into a holding room with the pre-opts of preparing for this, I thought it to be a simple surgery, everyone said it would be.

But, then Lord you wanted to show me that it is all in your hands. You wanted to display your power and receive all the glory. So You intervened with an intervention that we had no idea we would need.

Finally, at 2:30 pm ( a long day waiting to go to surgery) the call comes to take me into the surgery room. Here we go and all will be well, right Lord? Deuteronomy 31:6-8

Well, You Lord, had a different plan. As the anesthesiologist and their crew began to put in the tubes for intravenous feeding in both arms, something begin to happen. I was not put under the sedative at this point so I heard all conversations. I hear to my dismay: "what is happening to her arms? "they are turning blood red as the serum is going into the veins.

They are saying, " we've never seen this happen before". The surgeon comes in and asks, "what is the hold-up?" The crew answers, " we have never seen anything like this before"

The surgeon replies, " you are the anesthesiologist, fix it I'll be waiting". But when they had never seen anything like this before, they say, " how do we fix it?". I began to pray. Lord, please after all I've gone through, all the waiting for this hip replacement, please Lord, let it happen. I hear many voices around me making suggestions.

I hear one nurse say, "let's try warming the serum going into her veins, let's cover her with heated blankets." They began to do just that Lord. What is happening, you promised you are with me, you promised that all would be well. Please show them what to do.

You entered Lord because you were invited. The nurses begin checking my blood-red arms every few minutes, and to their amazement, the red from my arms began to dissipate, they were miraculously back to normal. The surgery could resume. Praise God! My wait is over, the next words I heard before the mask was put over my face were, "Let's GO!

It was not until several hours later, after recovering from surgery, was there a suggestion of what was going on with my blood-red arms. I've always been cold-sensitive and Lord you used that to show your glory. You let our prayers and the intervention of your mighty power show the nurse crew that the serum needed to be warmed, my arms and body needed to be covered with extra heated blankets, and because you gave them that knowledge, the miracle occurred. I could have the surgery go forth. Many can make light of events that take place, but, Lord I know it was YOU!... "You deserve the glory and the honor, I lift my hands in worship and I bless your Holy Name. Yes, you are great! you deserve the glory, all the honor, I lift my hands in worship and I bless your Holy name. Cause you are great! you do miracles so great!.. there is no one else like you. No... one.. else... like you." YOU DO MIRACLES SO GREAT!! Thank you, Lord, for this MIRACLE. I am recovery from rehab and every day I remind myself, "YOU DO MIRACLES SO GREAT!!."

MIRACLES...ARE ALL AROUND US.

Are you like me, needing a miracle in so many situations? Are you like me, saying " God I need a miracle in this circumstance."

As humans, we long for the unexplainable, something that transcends our daily existence. And yet, we all harbor doubts. Mark 9:23 All things are possible to him who believes.

The ultimate miracle for the Christian is the Christ child, God in human form lying in a manager. Do you accept that as a miracle? How can it be that God had planned to come in human form, Jesus the babe in the manger, with the purpose of dying to save all that believe from their sins? And we that do believe the old song say's, "It took a miracle to put the stars in place, it took a miracle to place the world in space, but when You saved my soul, cleansed and made me whole it took a miracle of love and grace.

Let me explain a MIRACLE. It is an extraordinary event manifesting divine intervention in human affairs. But, did you know that even though you may have never seen or realized it at the time,

" There are Miracles All Around Us.".

We that know God's word, know that He is Sovereign. Nothing can happen without His divine power and intervention. Ephesians 1:11, Colossians 1:16, Proverbs 21:30, Psalms 33:10-11, Isaiah 14:27, I love this verse; His hand is stretched out, and who can turn it back?

If you will look back on your life, the events that happened, you will see many miracles.

That time you forgot something from your home as you left for work, angry that you had to turn back, to find you had left a stove burner on. That was God, that was a miracle!.

Or; you were running late for an appointment, and of all times, there is held-up traffic ahead, to find that a few minutes prior, there was a bad accident right in front of you.

" that's your miracle". People talk about the 911 event, how that particular day they had to take the child to school and was late getting to their work in the towers,...

" That's your miracle".

My life has been filled with miracles. No other way to explain it. A loved one that needed Jesus as Savior, given time after time to get to that point. Each event that happened was taking them to the miracle of Salvation. I didn't realize it at the time but now I see.

The people you meet, the transactions along the way, all finally lead to the Miracle.

All I can say is " God has His plan for your life" those detours, those many crazy events that happen are taking you to your miracle.

Please look around and look back, see your miracles. " There are Miracles All Around you."

GIVE THANKS .....WITH A GRATEFUL HEART

The Thanksgiving table is all prepared, decorated with beautiful fall flowers, the nicer china is all in place. This is a festive day, it's Thanksgiving Day!

The turkey is brown and tested done, the dressing is just as everyone always loved. The mash potatoes are being mashed, sweet potatoes have that toasted marshmallow topping, and hot risen rolls are being taken from the oven.

But, as you look around, you see there are only three settings at the Thanksgiving table this year. You could say there was a little sadness at this table, but, God is here so we will rejoice and be glad.

My heart starts to sing: "Give thanks with a grateful heart, give thanks to the Holy One, give thanks because He's given Jesus Christ His Son. Now let the weak say I am strong, let the poor say I am rich, because of what the Lord has done for us. Give thanks with a grateful heart, give thanks to this Holy One," because we are not alone. Hebrews 13:5.

I can remember when our Thanksgiving table was full. All the family members were there, the middle leaf of the large dining table was put in to accommodate all the extra chairs needed.

What has happened through the years? Where has all the family gone? We have lost so many loved ones, maybe you have too.

Now it's me, my husband, and one of my 6 sisters that grace this large table, really not needed. We could have eaten at the small kitchen table. But, it's Thanksgiving!

So we sit and talk of the bygone days and reminisce of all the many memories of family.

I could say this will be a sad day, but, then I know that God is here and I have many reasons to say:" Give thanks with a grateful heart, give thanks to our Holy One because He's given us Jesus Christ His son. "

Do you know what that means friend? That because God gave us Jesus to die for our sins, and by belief in Him, we will have eternal life, those that have gone on before us in Christ, we will see again. That gives me hope, that lets me say," I am rich when I am poor, I am strong when I am weak. That lets me give thanks with a grateful heart.

I pray you can say that this year also. That no matter what is happening in your journey, you can " Give thanks, with a grateful heart", because God gave His son for our sins. Our past, our present, and praise God! even our future sins. Revelations 3:5 Now! that's worth Giving Thanks with a grateful heart.

Give thanks in ALL Things, God gave us Jesus Christ His son.

A LETTER TO GOD.....From One of Your Children

It's me, Lord, I know I am standing in the need of prayer. My heart is broken, there are hurts of many people in this evil world. And Lord, some are YOUR CHILDREN that are hurting.

I do not doubt that You care, that You know all about what we are facing here on Your beautiful creation. BUT.......... Lord, I need to ask you some things.

I speak the name of Jesus in every situation. I tell so many through my encouraging blogs, how You are everything we need and You are always watching over your Children.

Your scriptures bear witness to the fact that " You will never leave us or forsake us".

Hebrews 13:5

Lord, Your reputation is on the line as I bear these facts to the hurting and the unsaved.

How can I tell " How Great You are"? when the Saved, Born Again say, " then why am I having all the problems that even the unsaved are having? How can I give a reason for the suffering of even us, Your Children?

The psalmist says in Psalms 108: 12-13 " Give us help from trouble; for vain is the help of man. Verse 13 " through God we shall do valiantly for YOU it is that shall tread down our enemies."

I guess I'm just confused in your ways, Lord. I know you say " my ways are not your ways"

Is that the problem that we are having? Isaiah 55;8-9 NIV.

I have seen You change hearts, heal sickness, bring the rain, stop the rain, turn a broken parent's mind back to believing. I have seen You Lord, in the morning sun, the star-lit skies, So, I'm just asking........ How long, how long, do we wait for Your divine intervention?

For You to show Yourself to the crooked, untruthful workers of evil? We want to slay them!!

Are You saying to me Lord as You said to Job in chapter 38 of Job? Reminding me that You are who You say You are? And Your word to me is: "Be Still and know that I am God?"

Do I repent in the heaviness of my heart and just say," You are the great I AM", You will act when it is the time to act? To tell the tooth sayers that You are the Creator, we are your creation. We put you above whatever it may look like in " such a time as this".

I DO LORD! I surrender my all. I give You the glory due to your name. I will praise and wait for the revealing of YOUR PLAN. I will keep telling all that when we think our hearts are beyond any more burdens,............. THEN we will see the hand of God, we will see Your unfailing LOVE and MERCY. You did it for Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and many more. Why would I doubt that You will do it for us?

To You be all glory and Praise my Great I AM!
