JESUS LOVES ME.......HOW I KNOW.......

From the very beginning of hearing any little church song, if you got to go to church, bet you heard this basic little song of truth.

"Jesus loves me, this I know, because the Bible tells me so." That's not just some words my friend, that is a basic truth.

I have a little 6 year old grandson that his mom has a video of him singing the beginning of this song when he was only about three years old. It is so precious to hear him in his little small voice. He would say; Jesus loves me .....this I----- know---- He would hold out that

I know.

Now let me tell you that JESUS LOVES ME.....HOW I KNOW.

The Bible is so filled with ALL that God provided for us. As the ALL knowing God ; He knew because of the sin of His first creation, Adam and Eve, they would sin by disobeying His word to NOT eat of the one tree in that beautiful garden that Adam was to care for. They could eat of anything else BUT not that one fruit tree.

Can you imagine being Adam and Eve that actually got to walk and talk with the

Great I AM?. But then the fallen angle, Lucifer, ( Satan, Devil) temped Eve, she ate of the forbidden fruit, gave to Adam. Enters SIN, and God's plan had to come into play because He LOVED US SO MUCH.

Because of their sin, we were all designed to be born with a sin nature. Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, we all fall short of God's glorious standard. BUT GOD provided the way for that sin.

He provided Jesus . God in the flesh, to die for our sins. Jesus is our sin sacrifice.

John 3:16 "God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, whosoever believeth in him shall not perish , but have everlasting life." Your sin forgiver. When you confess you are a sinner and take Jesus into your heart, friend it's as if you never sinned. praise GOD!!

Just like Jesus; died on the cross, was resurrected from the grave, if you take Jesus as your Savior, SO WILL YOU! That's LOVE, my friend. That's HOW I know JESUS LOVES ME. The story is revealed in scripture.

YES, the Bible tells me so. His shed blood, my hope in Him, lets me know, JESUS LOVES ME

JESUS LOVES ME THIS I KNOW, FOR THE BIBLE TELLS ME SO.........GOD IS LOVE.

DO YOU KNOW YOUR WORTH?......

Jesus says; you are worth more than many sparrows. Matthew 10: 31.

I wanted to get this blog out because hopefully, Winter is gone and Spring has sprung.

It was when we had this last snow storm, ground was covered, it stayed cold, really cold,

10-12 below 0. Stayed that way for several days here in our area, perhaps your area also.

As my husband and I was backing out of our garage, one morning, and as we have a very large Holly bush on the left side of our garage, I saw something I could not believe. This was the sight I saw;

There were hundreds of sparrows picking the Holly berries off of that totally covered Holly bush.

I had often wondered earlier in the season, ( that was very unusual for that Holly bush to be so budded out with it's Holly berries) . I had never seen it that full or at that time of the year.

ever before since we have lived here. Always Fall or sometimes in Spring. God had His plan.

Then, I begun to cry inside my heart as I reflected back of Gods word.

Matthew 10:31;" fear you not therefore, you are of more

value than many sparrows".

Hundreds of sparrows cleaned the Holly berries off that bush in a matter of minutes.

Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not more valuable than they?

How many times do we worry about what are we going to eat, what are we going to wear? Matthew 6:25-34

Verse 33 has always summed it up for me on my worrying:

"But seek you first the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness, and all these things shall be given to you".

I saw that because the ground was so covered with snow...................

the ground was so frozen, that the birds could not find food. O, yes, my great God had prepared all along for that fully budded out Holly brush, (at this unusual time) to be the source of food for the many sparrows .

It was picked totally clean by the hundreds of sparrows in just the short amount of time we were backing out of the garage.

Friends, as the Matthew scripture says; If God supplies for the many sparrows, and we are of more value than them , my how valuable we are to our Heavenly Father.

My, how He will ALWAYS SUPPLY our need, just as He supplied food for the many sparrows during that frozen ground winter snow storm.

Do you, my friend see just how great your worth is to the GREAT I AM?. Other scriptures repeats; "He know the number of hairs on your head. Luke 12:7. " "He keeps track of all my sorrows, He collects all my tears in His bottle Psalms 56:8 He records each one in His book."

YES, friend, YOU HAVE GREAT WORTH!. If you are His, He is yours, you are of great worth.

John 15:7 says: If you abide in me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.

That takes me back to the many sparrows. They never worried about that snow , frozen ground . They knew Jesus would supply their food as they were not able to get it from the frozen ground. And, my heavily budded Holly bush was prepared ( at an unusual time) to be so budded out , loaded with red Holly buds" for just such a time as this".

Do you, my friend see just how great your worth is to the GREAT I AM?. Other scriptures repeats; "He know the number of hairs on your head. Luke 12:7. " "He keeps track of all my sorrows, He collects all my tears in His bottle Psalms 56:8 He records each one in His book."

YES, friend, YOU HAVE GREAT WORTH!. If you are His, He is yours, you are of great worth.

Gods word is full of His Promises, just as He provides our needs, He provides in unusual ways.

WHEN YOU WALK THROUGH THE STORM.......

God wants you to PERSONALIZE His PROMISES for you! He did it for the saints of old, and these same promises are for you ALSO, my friend. If you belong to Jesus all His promises are meant for you: PERSONALIZE THEM.

I don't know about you, but when I read the scriptures and see over and over how the

Great I AM showed to His faithful servants His promises were always true, and He fulfilled them time and time again.

I know Hebrews chapter 13 is often called the FAITH chapter. I have underlined in my ( most used worn Bible) all the scriptures that say, " by faith,". " by faith"....... All the old saints were promised their PROMISES from God by their faith.

Actually, I read in chapter 11 that seems to starts the " by faith" action. I personally love verse 31. "By faith the harlot Rahab perished not with them that believed not, when she had received the spies with peace."

This was a promise from God for Joshua. (In Joshua chapter 6.) We read in verse 25 how Rahab , the harlot was spared and all her father's household because she had obeyed God's promise. And all else was destroyed around her dwelling. Amazing! because her dwelling was on the side of a cliff .

Lord, I cant help but say, " faithful you are, faithful forever you will be." "All your promises are yes and AMEN. " Always remember: Hebrews 13:5. " I will never leave you or forsake you."

So, when you WALK THROUGH THE STORM..... Remember; all God's promises are for you PERSONALLY. Exodus 14-14 " the Lord will fight for you, you only need to be still. "

Psalms 91. You must read this for what God promises us as His children. We have nothing to fear when we are sheltered under the shadow of the ALMIGHTY. On and On goes His Promises. Make them yours PERSONALLY, my friend.

MY FAITH HAS FOUND A RESTING PLACE.......

Being I sing in a church choir, I love using songs to illustrate my point and feelings.

I have actually been overwhelmed lately with all the chaos that our nation/ our world seems to be going through. I hear the statics...... many of you are also.

I was pondering my emotions yesterday, well.... truthfully, all week. and have wanted to reign them in with God's truth.

This is what I know that I know, and want to share with you my blog readers.

My faith has found a resting place not in man's device or creed. I trust the every living One, His wounds for me shall plead. I need no other evidence, I need no other plea, it is enough that Jesus died, And that He died for me. Enough for me that Jesus saves, this ends my ,fears and doubt,, He says, " He'll never cast me out. Oh, What a Savior, is Jesus my Lord.

Have you ever thought that there is nothing our great creator doesn't know about us and

our lives? And IF... you have accepted Jesus, God's son as your Savior,

( I call Jesus , God with skin on) then you are in His hands whatever comes you way.

We as believers have found " A Resting Place". I believe these words in this hymn make the best statement of faith that exists. I have always said: that trusting in Jesus as Savior is the greatest miracle one will ever experience. It took faith to read, hear, trust and believe.

And IF... you have accepted Jesus, God's son as your Savior, you have that Resting Place.

Have you done that my friend? Troubled hearts, tears of emotions, worrying about tomorrow, if you have Jesus, your faith has found a a Resting Place. Not one thing happens to you that God didn't already know it before hand. Does He send this chaos? Yes, either He sends it for a reason, or allows it, for His plan. JUST TRUST HIS WAYS.

So..... Tell your heart, your mind today , that " My faith has found a Resting Place, "

Jesus died , He arose, I am His and He is mine, and that's enough for me.

Come join your faith to God's Resting Place. Matthew 11:28 Come unto me all that labor and are heavy laden, I will give you rest. Let you Faith find it's "RESTING PLACE. "

THE WINDS AND THE WAVES STILL KNOW HIS NAME.

I'VE COME TOO FAR....TO TURN BACK NOW....

There's a beautiful song about this very truth. It's called " I've come too far to look back". I hope you feel the same way my friends.

When life gets pretty rough at times.... we that know the Master, Jesus Christ our Lord

we, would tell you that even though you are struggling, hurting. and seem to be crying a lot over this Fallen World, we would be a fool to ever think of turning back.

When I met my Savior,

all the pleasures I used to love have all faded away. There's a new day ahead for me I left it at Calvary.

I know as we near that home shore we can say in truth: I've come too far to turn back now.

Let me give you that encouragement today to be able to say that also.

I know, you have been through many struggles, many heartaches, suffered heartbreaks, and we would not be truthful if we said life has been a breeze. We all know that is not true.

BUT....GOD ... When you look back, has always got you through. That's why you need the Savior. His name is Jesus. He was God in the flesh, he came to die for your sins. John 3:16.

"For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only son , that whoever believes in him, shall not perish but have eternal life."

Will you? turn your eyes toward Jesus look full in His wonder face. He's gonna get you through, we're closer now than when we first began. I'm looking forward to what's beyond this Fallen World. You think I don't know all the struggles of life? My published non-fiction book will tell you that. " My Christian Journey Through a Fallen World"

Satan wants your soul, he is real, but remember, he's not the one that died for you.

So.....friend, If you know our Great I AM, than you can agree with this blog.

NO BROKEN HEARTS IN HEAVEN.........

I know if you are experiencing another cold and snowy day, and have had for sometime now, seems like forever, then you are disappointed, as I seem to find myself. ASKING : When will this winter here in the mid-west and as far down as Texas, ever end?.

But I want to take you to a better focus. My thoughts are on Heaven . I was thinking of all the shut-ins, the nursing home people, those that haven't been able to see their love ones, some since this pandemic.

I know they wonder if it will always be like this. Will we ever go back to normal?.

The comfort I want to bring you today, is that even though our hearts are broken here, we have had so many disappointments, our world seems to be running backward, chaos is everywhere. There is a blessed hope if you know Jesus . The one that loves you so and His word is filed with promises to give you hope.

Psalms 34:18 The Lord is near to the brokenhearted , ( is that you my friend?) and saves the crushed in spirit. He fills our pain. He felt much pain for the redeeming of your soul.

We will be able to say one day.... no more tears... no more death. My broken heart will be completely whole. I can't wait for that day. This is what we wait for. Singing and dancing in worship with our Savior. One day I will be there, how about you my friend?

Revelation 21:4 says , He will wipe away every tear from your eyes, and death shall be no more neither shall there be mourning . nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things shall be passed away. This is our promise from scripture if you have given your heart to Jesus in believing for forgiveness of your sins.

We have a future that is bright. We have a home that is filled with:

NO BROKEN HEARTS IN HEAVEN !

AND GOD SENT THE PROBLEMS.........WHAT?

One of the marvelous encounters in Bible scriptures gives us an inside knowledge that we need to know. " In such a time as this".

If God is our problem.... then God is our solution.

We see this in the book of 2 Chronicles 15. how as Azariah , the son of Oded informed Asa and all of Judah , their problems was because : " the Lord is with you, while you are with Him and you seek Him he will be found, but, forsake him and he will forsake you.

They had no peace in their coming in or going out, nations were at war with one another, chaos was all around them. See, Israel, for a long season had been without a teaching priest and without law. Verse 6 then says, God did vex , ( sent the problems)) GOD DID, WHAT!.

It says he sent them with all adversity.

What fixed this terrible problem? When Asa heard the prophecy word from O'ded, he took on courage, and put away idols out of the land, and renewed the altar of the Lord. The people all saw that the Lord was with him at this time and they began to seek the Lord God of their fathers with all their heart and with all their souls. They became what God was wanting them to be, they saw that when they were with the Lord, he was with them.

Verse 19 says: And there were no more war. ( Peace, Peace, Wonderful Peace).

How about it America, and all the nations.? Will we come back to the God of our fathers? Will we see to fix this land, that : " when God is our problem, God is our answer".?

Did you realize we could go back to Peace in our land, our government, out hearts, our people, IF WE would just " GO BACK TO GOD". God will not share his glory with anyone, Isaiah 42:8. He will not have idols worshiped. He is the great I AM. God first and him alone.

GIVE THIS WORLD BACK TO GOD, GIVE

YOURSELF , BACK TO GOD.

WE SHALL COME REJOICING......BRINGING IN THE SHEAVES

Such a beautiful comparison of bringing souls to Jesus.

We read in scripture during harvest, farmers would BRING IN THE SHEAVES , the stalks of cut or harvested grain which had been bound together with reaping...... this song I am speaking of in this blog is based on that. Psalms 126:5-6 which says: " Those who sow in tears shall reap in joy."

"Bringing in the Sheaves," is an old American gospel. The lyrics were written in 1874

by Knowles Shaw. who was inspired by the chapter and verse I quoted, Psalms 126: 6. " He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him". Very soon after Knowles had written this score of music he entered the ministry. Because of his great vocal power, he was called the

" singing evangelist". Records show that from his singing and preaching the word, that nearly 20,000 souls came to the Lord. Hallelujah!.

Jesus Died for your sins.

There is often hard work in our service for the Lord , with heavy burdens and with much tears. But the end result is well worth it.

This harvest of bringing in the sheaves can be compared to souls saved through the planting seeds of the gospel. This in a broader sense is an all Christian endeavor. As Paul states, " let us not grow weary in well doing, for in due season we shall reap if we faint not"

Bringing in the sheaves is the result of a life lived fully for the Lord. Are we Christian believers, living that kind of life that will let us come rejoicing, bringing our sheaves

( lost souls) to Jesus? Reaping and harvesting is hard work , but as this song suggested , we will come rejoicing, bringing in our sheaves.

Brother, sister, mamma, daddy, don't quit praying, witnessing to your lost ones, and let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.

Galatians 6:9.

My message:

NEVER, NEVER, NEVER. Give up!. It will be worth it all, when we see JESUS.

DID YOU KNOW, IF YOU HAVE JESUS...YOU ARE HIS MASTERPIECE.?

Today December 31, is the last day my friends of this not so great 2020. So I wanted to give you the encouragement that you may not even realize that you process.

I want you to understand that if you have Jesus as your own personal Savior, by belief in His finished work on Calvary, you have confessed that you need a Savior, you have had that time in your life that you ask Him into your heart, trusted in Him as your sin redeemer, then here's the GOOD NEWS! Take it with you into Happy New Year 2021.

According to God's scripture you are a MASTERPIECE. When you became a child of the King, He already had your destiny created. A masterpiece is a one of a kind, that's you, my friend. Ephesians 2:10 . God knowing the end from the beginning, He has prepared your destiny beforehand. We read in Isaiah 46:9 Remember the former things of old. For I am God, and there is no other; I am God , and there is none like me. NKJ.

He goes onto tell us; " My purpose will be established, and I will accomplish all my good pleasure" ( Isaiah 46: 8-10) emphasis added) What GOD declares will be.!

Don't listen to to the voices in our culture or in your own head that say you are a failure. Don't pay attention to the idea, that it's too late to change, or reaping from bad mistakes. Don't pay attention that God could never love someone like you. That's all lies, none of it is true. The truth is: you are God's MASTERPIECE, He knows you by name. He loves you, and he has invested all His creativity in you, That's who you are, a child of THE KING. You have a future that is GOOD, God has made you His MASTERPIECE.

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Dwell on this, God sees you as His MASTERPIECE. How much greater can it get ? Glory to the Great I AM!.

TO THE GREAT I AM............... I AM HIS MASTERPIECE.

A CHRISTMAS LIKE NEVER BEFORE.....What was your Christmas like in 1956? Could it had been like Mine?

I was one of ten children raised in what would be considered a very dysfunctional life style. What I mean by that is: we had a dark secret that was only known by my momma and daddy. But we kids were not aware of it until later.

I was only 13 years old at this Christmas time. I always remembered Christmas Eve as the eventful time of Christmas. We would always put up the tree that evening in which one of my brothers, that would be Clyde, would go into the woods to cut a tree down. Illegal, who knows, but we always got our Christmas trees that way.

As we decorated the tree momma would be making grilled cheese sandwiches, have potato chips and cold soda drinks brought from our grocery store/restaurant that we still owned at that time.

This Christmas though was a little different than the usual ones I had remembered.

As I begin to tell you what happened, keep in mind that we did the same thing every Christmas Eve. Having same: grilled cheese sandwiches, potato chips, cold sodas, and illegal cut down Christmas tree from a wooded area.

We always elected one of the older siblings to pass out the gifts, usually all homemade by each other, and sometimes an old prior gift just wrapped up again, and in the same Christmas wrapping paper from years ago.

We always kept the old years wrapping paper. As mamma said, “that paper doesn’t grow on trees.” Mamma said to keep it so that’s what we did, put it in a big old plastic bag to repeat the same thing over again next year. (Actually momma, paper does come from trees)

I learned that in chemistry class, dud!

All the homemade gifts were handed out and evening was coming to a close. We girls would head upstairs with tangerines, chocolate candy, and I guess our homemade Christmas gifts, acting as they were a prize possession, not nothing new, mind you, but hey! They were gifts, isn’t it the thought that really counts anyway?

We didn’t know about a Jesus back then, we had never been allowed to go to a church, even if church people would come by and say they would pick us kids up on their church bus and take us. There goes that dark secret momma and daddy knew.

So Christmas Eve was just another day for our dysfunctional family. As we girls left to head upstairs we left the Christmas tree that was standing so beautifully decorated, to become just a thing of the past.

BUT! Something happened that night that I will always remember. As we went to our bedroom, with our door closed, and ready to settle down on a cold winter’s night, there was suddenly a knock on our bedroom door. We opened the door and there stood our daddy, he said,” I have never given you guys a gift for Christmas before, but this year I wanted to”. We were so surprised, but sort of knew momma had something to do with this. He handed each of us three girls a $20.00 bill. We all thanked him. He then just turned and walked away.

That was not like our daddy. He was always in a bad mood, dishearten, and so hateful to all of us kids. He was never a true loving daddy, and even though we just knew that was a hard thing for him to do, we couldn’t help but let our hearts be filled with emotions as he took on this usual task . That year; Christmas 1956 will be a Christmas to be remembered.

When you don’t know any difference you find yourself living like there is no tomorrow, until you meet the Great I AM! I discovered from writing my published book that: you don’t have to be perfect to inspire other people, let them be inspired by how you deal with your struggles, heartaches and imperfections.
