WHY, LORD, DO YOU STAND FAR OFF?...........

In this very unsettling time , we may find ourselves asking, as David did in

Psalm chapter 10. Why do you hide yourself in times of trouble?

David, like we, also are pondering our lives and the chaos we are seeing surround us everyday. We may also want to say," Lord I belong to you, I am your redeemed child by the blood of Jesus Christ my savior, " Why do the wicked seem to prosper, why do they say " no one will ever do me harm." I will not be held accountable.........I will never be caught in my corruption."

Their hearts and mouths are full of lies and threats; trouble and evil are under their tongues.

They murder the innocent, they wait to catch the helpless.

They say to themselves, " God will never notice; He covers His face and never sees."

They think, God will never call them to account.

Then I read Romans 10:17 But you, "O Lord hear the desire of the afflicted; you encourage them, and you listen to their cry. You will call the evildoer to account for his wickedness , that would not otherwise be found out".

THIS CAUSES ME TO HAVE HOPE. As there is so much evil, undercover back biting by the big tech, foreign communist , and those that just want power and their love is for money. They do not care about our blessed by God land, our belief in the only God, our Lord Jesus Christ, or even the America that they have been voted in by, we the people, to put us first.

Lord, you care. And my Scripture reading Psalms 10:17 tells me that ; "You have heard the desire of the humble; you will establish our heart, and you will cause your ear to hear".

So, Lord, I do know that Revenge is yours, Romans 12:19 " I will repay, says the Lord." I confess, I do not understand. How can we Lord,? We do not have the mind of You. But, I do know according to Psalms 73: 17 "Until I went into the sanctuary of God; then I understood their end". Justice day is coming. Lord, my prayer is; Please as your promise; hear our cry.

I know 1 Peter 5:10 says; " And after you have suffered a little while..............

the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm , strengthen and establish you.

LORD, I CHOOSE YOUR PEACE.... OVER CHAOS

My friends, can you hang on a little longer? We're almost out of this nightmare of 2020.

We all have our story to tell of how this has been one of those years like never before that

I, and possibly you, have experienced ;

Can I tell you that in Bible history many of the kings experienced some pretty bad times also. One example is found in 2 Chronicles 14:11 King Asa faced a situation in his early reign. He was confronted by a hostile army that outnumbered his forces two to one. In desperation the king cried out to God, acknowledging his own weakness and expressing faith in God's sovereign power to save by many or by few. He finished his prayer with these beautiful words: " We rest on thee, and in thy name we go against this multitude" God honored that trust by giving Asa and his army an overwhelming victory.

I have chosen to pray that same prayer. I have chosen the Lords peace He gives, instead of the chaos we are experiencing.

John 14:27 says : "peace I give unto you, not as the world gives. Let not your heart be troubled and do not be afraid."

I want this peace that only our great creator can give, and He gives that to us when we turn our hearts to Him.

Do you realize we are fighting a battle just like the king Asa faced. Ours in " such a time as this" is the battle of good and evil. Evil rages, but good will prevail. I have learned through my life's struggles that when you just can't hang on anymore...... OUR GOD WILL SHOW UP! and take us through the FIRE AGAIN.!!

So will you choose peace and not chaos? will you ask our Lord and Savior to give you that peace? It only comes from choosing to put ALL your trust in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Did I say it was easy? NO, but as many scriptures throughout the Bible says, when they did, was when they found a peace that passes all understanding. Philippians 4:7 .

I CHOOSE PEACE.............OVER CHAOS

I AM SORRY, LORD.....NOT MY WILL,YOUR WILL BE DONE

You may be like I have found myself. Getting my prayer priority confused.

I admit it is hard in the situations we are now living, but I have sought the Lord, cried many tears, ask over and over, WHY, LORD? WHERE ARE YOU? Now the answer has come to me.

Through the Bible scriptures and from all my praying, listening to commits on media, etc,

I finally see. We are to be praying for WHAT GOD WANTS, NOT for WHAT WE WANT.

After all, we were created for GOD, NOT God for us.

God's purpose is for us to submit to the purpose of His Kingdom. We can only experience, fellowship that God is going somewhere....building of His Kingdom in relationship with His people.

That is why the model prayer" The Lord's Prayer", says ; thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. We have God's DESIRABLE WILL. He wishes that all will be saved. I Timothy 2:4. But as we know we have a free choice, he doesn't impose it on us. So NOT ALL will be saved.

Then we read what is God's UNCONDITIONAL WILL as follows.

Isaiah 14: 24 & 27 reads; The Lord of hosts hath sworn, saying, Surely as I have thought, so shall it come to pass; and as I have purposed, so shall it stand.

Verse 27..... For the Lord of hosts hath purposed, and who shall disannul it? ( make VOID) and his hand is stretched out, and who shall turn it back?

So I have agreed as I should; to GOD'S WILL, NOT MY WILL. I can now agree as Martha in scripture John 11 when Lazarus, her brother died, she said WHY LORD? Then when Jesus saw her tears and told her to remove the stone, (Jesus knew what he was going to do, RAISE LAZARUS from the dead) His UNCONDITIONAL WILL, Then Martha saw that because of her belief, her confidence in her Lord, EVEN NOW he could raise Lazarus from the dead.

So.... I am not discouraged in what seems to rage all around me, I am not broken because what I wanted as my will, doesn't seem to be. Because I know my confidence in my Lord, my belief in his UNCONDITIONAL WILL , Even though, and even NOW, if it's God's will it will be done. My friends, if you are sad, take heart: EVEN NOW as he did for Martha, her Lazarus, he can do for you and I. John 11:40 Jesus says unto us: that if thou would believe, thou shall see the glory of God. But it would be His WILL not our WILL. And I will still Praise Him!!!

TRUSTING GOD......EVEN WHEN LIFE HURTS

This is a so real blog for you my friends, as I am human and have many flaws as we all do.

I have a Savior that is Jesus Christ my Lord, I have every reason to know from my many past experiences, many trials, struggles, that He always, always brings me through.

So, why am I struggling in this time of chaos that we find ourselves in?

Blame it on the pandemic, blame it on my aging life, blame it on what I call absolute ignorance of many people, blame it on the false information that we the people have resonating into our life each day, or just name something that you want to blame it on.

But, I knowing the Bible scriptures, knowing they were breathed on as the writers wrote under the leading of the holy spirit, and knowing that Our great God is sovereign in all that He does, I have no sound reason to feel as I find myself. I'm the one that is suppose to be writing encouraging blogs to help you folks. Encouragement to make it through your times of trouble. Forgive me when I fail. BUT....................

I give you Jesus. When I pray, I feel as Jesus must have felt when he prayed right before his crucifixion, who prayed, ' My Father, if it is possible, let this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will "Matthew 26:39.

His heavenly Father knew this must be , it was ordained to be our redemption for the sins of the world. So I give you Jesus, the one that can make it possible to go through , " TRUSTING GOD EVEN WHEN LIFE HURTS. " It hurts me right now, but I am assured my great I AM! will make the path that lays before us straight as it is now so crooked. Oh, to have the mind of God. Lord, lead us into the victory, that we know from Bible scripture; YOU have already won that VICTORY. AMEN.!!!

WHO ARE YOU IN THE PICTURE OF THE LAST SUPPER ?

I read a story recently of Leonardo da Vinci , the great Italian master painter, sculptor, etc.

It talked about how he used live models to pose for that most master painting of the

" Last Supper"

He looked for ones in his church to be live models. As he looked up into the choir, he saw a man that to him resembled what Jesus wold have looked like. He ask him to come to his studio and pose for the picture. The man agreed. Then he looked for each disciple, a Peter, Matthew, a John , a James, each of the disciples, and ask them to pose for his painting. They each agreed.

He had found a resemblance of each of the disciples, he thought they would have looked like...........

UNTIL, he came to Judas. He went looking high and low for that particular person that he thought would resemble Judas. He walked the streets, looking everywhere. It was eleven years later of the famous painting the " Last Supper" when.........

Finally, he came across a man on the streets that had a grouchy hateful face with hatred looking eyes... He ask this man if he would come to his studio and pose for the picture. The man agreed.

But as Leonardo begin to paint this man, the man began to weep. Leonardo ask him " why are you weeping?" have I done something wrong? The man replied...... with tear filled eyes, " No, do you not remember me, Master? I was your Jesus you painted 11 years ago."

Friends inside of us is a Jesus and a Judas. The best version of us and the worst version of us. We must decrease and He must increase. If you do not know the great Savior of your sins, or if you have drifted away from your Savior Jesus Christ, Now is the time to let Him be Lord. I'm praying for you. Let Jesus shine, crush the Judas inside, the hatred, the cruelty, the bias, the raciest. Oh, How we need Jesus. You, oh Lord, are our Salvation.

Who are you in the master painting of the " Last Supper?" Please be the Jesus version.

TOUCHING THE HEM OF HIS GARMENT...........

Several places in scripture we are told about the miraculously healing by Jesus . As example of the woman with the issue of blood in Matthew 20:22.

NO DOUBT.... Jesus is a healer, as HE is God our creator, in the flesh.

As I was thinking on so many in this uncertain time that needs the touch of the master, I began to think, how not just a physical healing is needed by many with the terrible Covid-19 virus, but also actually even more important as the day of the Lord gets closer and closer a HEART HEALING is so needed.

We find ourselves as never before, that I have wittinessed , having such a HEART ISSUES. Never before have I seen such hatred between brothers and sisters.

Why would this be? Because the scriptures tell us in the last days, perilous times shall come. Sin and lawlessness will abound, people will be lovers of themselves full of greed and with no mercy. The evil will show its ugly head, pestilences will be everywhere . 2 Timothy 3:1-7.

So.... what are we to do about this ugly time and the terrible unrest, and the issues of a sinful heart? From my heart I need to warn you my friend that there is a Savior, His name is Jesus. He loves you so much He was willing to leave His throne in Heaven, come to earth and take ALL your punishment for your sins, and thereby making your heart as white as snow, "therefore there is NO CONDENSATION to those in Christ Jesus" Roman 8:1. Meaning, Just as though you've never sinned. Only Christ alone can do that.

As bad as your physical pain may be, and my heart goes out to those suffering from this virus, cancer, Alzheimer's , severe join pains, and the hundreds of other many illnesses. The one issues that will keep you out of Heaven is the HEART ISSUE. When Jesus becomes your Savior, your redeemer from your sins. Romans 3:23, your are eternally bound to heaven to be with Christ forever and ever. No more sorrow, no more pain. Revelation 21:4

Friend don't be left behind, don't let this evil world and then Hell be your destiny. Come to Jesus , there is room at the cross for you. Time is short, signs of His return is growing closer and closer. You may not believe this blog, but as one person I knew, put it, " WHAT IF THIS IS TRUE". By the Holy Spirit I tell you IT IS. Jesus is waiting, what's inside your heart?

ONE BREATH AWAY.................

Today I want to speak to you from my heart concerning the battles that RAGE.....

You may think I'm talking about the battles that rage at this time in life, and I am, but not from just the fight between the Left/Democrats, and the Right/Republicans and this Political war of words.
BUT also, did you know there is a battle raging now like never before in history between Lucifer/Satan and our Great Creator/Lord God.?
Let me tell you a story from the scriptures how real this battle is.

ONE BREATH AWAY FROM HEAVEN OR HELL! We will find this story in Luke 16: 19-34
Seems there was a rich man and a poor man named Lazarus. The rich man that had so much throughout his life but never had believed in God's word, died. And likewise Lazarus, the poor man, that begged for table scrapes from the rich mans table, also, died.

Because the rich man NEVER trusted or put his belief in Jesus as his own personal Savior, had no regard for God's holy word, therefore when he died he went to Hell.
When Lazarus died , being he had believed, trusted in God's word he was carried by the angels into the bosom of Abraham. ( Father-God)
In Hell, the rich man could see across the great gulf fixed between him in Hell/ and to Lazarus in Heaven. Amazing that God allowed this for this particular purpose.
The rich man begged for Lazarus to come and dip his fingers into water and cool my tongue, I'm in such torment. But because there is this great gulf fixed between he could not come. The rich man then ask; I pray you father, you would go and warn my brother's, and friends of this great torment.
He was told in verse 31: if they would not hear Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

Friends how sad. In today's world , if you will not believe the words spoken of life in Christ or that Jesus came and died in our place for our sins, then you would not believe " that Jesus did RISE from the grave". Giving us eternal life. Which will it be? trust in Jesus for your redemption by accepting Him as your personal savior, or be tormented in the bottomless pit of Hell. Christ on Calvary, that old rugged cross made the difference. Your hope today is John 3:16 and Romans 10: 9-10

He's waiting, today is the day of Salvation,
REMEMBER:ONE BREATH AWAY.
I'm praying for you. For the king and His Kingdom,

GETTING OVERCOMING STRENGTH IN OVERWHELMING MOMENTS.............

I don't know about you my friend, but, it's been a hard season for me.

I seem to be in the word , praying, seeking the lord for the many problems that arise each and everyday, but I still feel anxious, and actually overwhelmed so many times.

I am thinking of this new day the Lord has given : Psalms 118:24 and I know how much He loves me, I know He is with me, and I know that I have a home awaiting me in heaven. Hallelujah !!

So, why do I let these overwhelming moments get me down? I want to encourage you if you are feeling this way also. I want to give you what the Lord says is HIS STRENGTH.

Scripture says, "the joy of the Lord is my strength." Nehemiah 8:19 . This comes from when the children of Israel were returning to Jerusalem from exile, They were listening to the law being read, were overcome with condemnation, and were weeping.

Because, when Ezra was reading the law to the people their lives and behavior were not in alignment with the law. But instead of being rebuked and condemned, they were instructed to celebrate because of " the joy of the Lord:"

The strength that God provides us is with is HIS GRACE. God's joy is in the re-connection or union.

Have we lost our re-connection or union with our HOLY GOD? I think we have. He gave us certain laws to live by and to obey. We are all guilty of disobeying these. But thanks be to God He offers His abiding GRACE for us.

Just as our nation were given a set of laws and principles in the Constitution. They were GOOD words, meant for we the people. But, because we fail to obey them we have caused confusion and chaos in our nation.

Friends, I know it's hard as humans to see this, and because our thoughts are not God's thoughts, it makes it even harder. BUT, just know that God's AMAZING GRACE is with you, if you are His child by personal belief and trust in His son Jesus Christ as your sin forgiver. Then, therefore, there is no condemnation to those in Christ Jesus. Romans 8:1.

Put your trust in the one that gives you strength in those overwhelming moments.

WHERE COULD I GO, OH, WHERE COULD I GO?

Seeking a refuse for my soul. Needing a friend to help me in the end. Oh, where could I go but to the Lord. ?

I have thought about the encouragement I have been giving out in my

" Encouraging Blogs". As I reflect on all the many posts that I have written and as I have read my daily morning devotions, my spirit holds true that there is only one that can actually give that encouragement.

His name is Jesus, yes, He's the one. My encouragement comes from the Lord.

Friends, there is no other that can satisfy your soul.

I have a tendency to look into the future, and sometimes as I'm sure many of you do, ask myself when will it ever be like it used to be? When will I see what used to be a

" normal life"? living in this sinful world, there's hardly a comfort for our souls.

But, then when I know that Jesus is my refuse, Jesus is my comfort in times of troubles it causes me to say, " This is where I go, straight to the Lord."

2 Corinthians 1:3 tells us "That the Lord Jesus Christ , the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God." So that is why I can write an encouraging blog even when I don't feel like helping others in my discouragement.

As you read this blog today, remember, Jesus is the only one that can actually meet your needs. Have you had that time in your life, that you knew that you needed a Savior,? Knew, Jesus died for your sins, ? and you personally accepted Him into your heart? Then my friends this is where you go, seeking a refuse for your soul.

It may not get what we want to call " normal " in this old Fallen World, but now you know where to go. Finding a friend to help you in the end.

I give you Jesus the one that will rescue your soul and you will find comfort as I find comfort when I go to write an encouraging blog.

The Lord is my strength and song, and is become my salvation. Psalms 118:14.

Let Us Do Good To All Men When We have The Opportunity

ESPECIALLY UNTO THEM OF THE HOUSEHOLD OF FAITH. Galatians 6:10.

I am sharing a devotional for a fellow author today. I know you will enjoy. AS FOLLOWING.

Rejected or Redirected? Devotional by Carolyn Dale Newell. Author

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” (Jeremiah 29:11 NKJV)

I sat on the edge of my seat with my classmates, who were as anxious as I was. One by one, Lori and Louise, our instructors at GEB, announced the name, color, and sex of our guides.

After the announcements, we hurried to our dorm rooms and waited for our fur babies to arrive. Immediately, I knew Iva was the same peppy, friendly dog I had walked the previous day. Lori left us to kindle a friendship. Iva covered me with kisses as I caressed her. We played a game called “Touch.” I made a fist, commanded her to touch it, and she bopped my fist with her wet nose. Then she received a treat. We still use the “Touch” command to draw her attention back to me.

Lori and Louise had warned us our dogs might still pine after them. I considered how my guide may feel shunned. The puppies are born at GEB, and at six to eight weeks go to volunteers to be raised. Their first human moms or dads teach them to be well-behaved members of society.

At fourteen to sixteen months of age, the puppy raisers say a tearful goodbye to their bundles of joy and return them to GEB. After six months of guide dog training, they are paired with a student, and the guide dog team graduates together.

Iva had gone through various changes in her short eighteen months of life. While Lori trained Iva, they bonded, but now Lori would never talk to Iva again. The only person who could speak her name was me. None of the trainers could talk to the dogs. This was vital for building a deep relationship between guide and handler.

Did Iva feel rejected when Lori ignored her? Did she feel unwanted or unloved? We bonded quickly, so I doubt it bothered Iva as much as it would have bothered me.

We often perceive the actions of others as personal. I have struggled with rejection, wondering at times, is it because I am the Bible-thumper, or am I a burden? Are they thoughtless, or is my perception warped because I am supersensitive?

Man’s rejection is God’s redirection.

God can use people to move us into the path He has prepared for us. Like ships passing at sea, they only remain in our lives for a season. We must not allow occasional feelings of being left out to create grudges or roots of bitterness in our hearts. We hurt no one but ourselves when we do that.

Instead, observe how God is working. Is He moving you in another direction? You might not perceive His plan at first. One day you will survey those hurtful incidents as baby steps that led you to something greater. A wonderful plan for your life, orchestrated by God.

Lord, help us refrain from overreacting to thoughtless people and hurtful situations. More importantly, give us a forgiving spirit so we can move forward. In Jesus’ name, amen.
