A Deep & Gorgeous Thirst...
I’m one or two passes from done with the manuscript for A Deep & Gorgeous Thirst, slated for release in late summer 2013 from Artistically Declines Press.
It’ll be a Bukowski-thick book (300+ pages!) of “drunk poems” -- poems written about every drunk story and adventure I can remember, or have heard about that somehow resonated with me. Or, if you prefer, a drinkable autobiography!
Some early versions of a few poems appeared here and here -- which provide something of the flavor, even though most have been rewritten.
Save up a few pennies, because between this book, and the forthcoming Bottle of Smoke offering And Turns Still the Sun at Dusk Blood-Red, 2013 seems to be shaping up just fine!

Sneak Peek...

Thanks...
...to the people who make it possible for me to keep doing this writing thing -- you guys! I wish the best to you & yours -- both those celebrating Thanksgiving, and my friends overseas who barely no why or care about America's turkey madness at the end of every November! I'm honored and humbled by the support you continue to give my work.
Thanks also for this: I'm jazzed to be appearing along side of a drove of talented folks as part of: {C.} An MLP Stamp Stories Anthology by Mud Luscious 50 words. That's all each of these stories are allowed. Just 50 words. It's a terrific challenge, and the result is ratchet-tight fiction from both names you know, and names you soon will.
And a big thanks to Klaus at OUTLAW POETRY for helping spread the word!
