Things get DIRE...
Tomorrow evening, 7pm EST, 4pm Pacific I’m zooming in for a chat with Timothy Gager and his long running Dire Lit Series (thankfully with a virtual reading that opens up Timothy’s insightful interview stylings to folks like me, in the far-off and dusty mesas of the badlands)! Gager has talked to loads of great writers, asks great questions, and is hugely active across writing, podcasting, and reading spaces himself — so I am honored to have a chance to briefly join him!

Too Rare To Burn NOT open this Friday!
The logistics of continuing the Too Rare To Burn event through this Friday have proven to be too complicated…and we’re just plum tuckered out on top of it all, so the event WILL NOT be open this Friday.
Our apologies and, of course, deepest thanks to any and everyone who would’ve attended! You all rock!
We’ve got a few more podcasts on deck, and are working out the kinks of a small, future local event — so stay turned if you’re interested in those!

Happy Psalms From The Badlands Release Day!
So here we go! Psalms has officially arrived!
Anyone who pre-ordered the audiobook eBook — it should be available now!
We’ve got copies in the STORE here ready to ship.
If you’re in Albuquerque and are trying to hunt down a copy, Organic Books should have a couple on there shelves {along with a few other books], and Page1 Books has a copy as well! Unless they’ve already sold…in which case, hot dog! I’ll try to keep them both in copies though, so check back!
And if you were hoping to see the TOO RARE TO BURN…exhibit, good news — it’s being held over for another week, so pop on by this coming Friday, August 8th, and enjoy the rare books, the multimedia accoutrement, the paintings, and the ABQ Artwalk vibes in general. You can also find a copy of the newest, or maybe even one of the older books, as I’ll have a few floating around!

The Final PSALMS Push is here!
Two of the twenty-six linocuts for the special editions!
The days are long and hot here in the high desert…and the HQ is a-buzz with BADLANDS activity!
There are linos yet to cut! Prints to print! Special Editions to finalize! Pods yet to cast.
And there are loads of other details to sort — links and copy and coordinating and arranging. The PRE-LAUNCH EVENT is just over 2 weeks away, and that means the book will be available far and wide soon!

Teaching Learning Leading K12 Podcast
A few week back I had a nice chat with host Steven Miletto as part of his Teaching Learning Leading K12 Podcast. We chatted about Psalms and New Mexico and the special editions and other such tomfoolery I tend to get up to when putting out projects. We also talked a bit about the process of both writing and making the book.
