Join Me At Boston Book Festival (UK) 2021!

I am excited to announce that I will be hosting a book stall at Boston Book Festival (UK)!

This free “meet the author” event will be held at Boston Guildhall in Boston, Lincolnshire (PE21 6HT) on Sunday 19th September from 10 am to 4 pm. Come along to learn more about my fantasy and sci-fi stories and help me celebrate my latest publication in Fall Into Fantasy 2021. I will be holding a book giveaway, giving out my shiny new bookmarks and seeking beta-readers for future projects.

This summer break was one of the busiest I can remember! The last week of July was packed with events including the school prom, a colleague’s graduation party, a kid’s birthday party and my own birthday meal. Apologies for missing last month’s IWSG post. I was away on holiday and unfortunately wasn’t organised enough to get my post scheduled in advance. I’m pleased to say that I have a new release to share with you this month.

My short story “Beneath the Roots” will be featured in the anthology Fall Into Fantasy 2021, coming September 21st from Cloaked Press. I am so pleased that my tale about the old gods from Slavic mythology has finally found a home with such a wonderful publisher.

It’s been a busy month at work but I’m currently on half-term break for a week. I’m hoping to have fun with my daughter and recharge my batteries before the madness of term 6 begins.

Last week I got my hair trimmed for the first time in ages and I also got to celebrate my stepbrother’s birthday at a barbecue. It was a lovely weekend because I got to spend some quality time with some family members that I hadn’t seen properly for a long time.
