Anyone know who the gent is in position 1 in the second video (since SCD can be a very small world indeed!)?
And the videos are good for learning to read SCD dance programs on paper/screen in one's mind, and even re SCD dances as computer programs - and kind of a new development for me in Zoom SCD classes in this coronavirus pandemic time.
Am liking, also, the plaids that the women are wearing in the last video, which remind me of those worn, without vests, at the St. Catherine's Niagro Falls' SCD ball in the '70s, Susan and Rob.
Good music too!

So if you’re asking about the 1st man in the 2nd video at reellifeinmontreal.wordpress - https://reellifeinmontreal.wordpress.com/2020/09/14/zoom-class-september-8-2020/ - (the strathspey), I don’t know him (but if you could get a really good close-up of his name tag … LOL).
I also wanted to let you know that I (and, as far as I know, Bruce, Heather, David and Barbara) do not have Twitter accounts, do not “tweet”, are not able to look at tweets, and have no intention of ever doing so, so all the stuff you send that way are not likely to be seen by any of us. Don't know about the rest of the people on the email.
But, yes, videos are an excellent tool for learning dances, especially now we’re trapped at home, unable to do them with real people :(. I miss dancing and playing for dancers so much! Here’s hoping we’ll get to do it again someday.
Cheers,
Patti

Am curious about doing zooming-ins - re gent in 2nd video starting off on his left foot in a strathspey (yes:) - in a #RealisticVirtualEarth For SCD in a single #RealisticVirtualEarth and to be able to view name tags!
Social media is an interesting, fairly new networking phenomenon. While I know some social media is behind walls and paywalls - for viewing or not if one doesn't have an account, for ex. - I had the impression that Tweets were visible even if one doesn't have a Twitter account, and while I'm never sure who views what in social media in general re (personal) idea sharing - which is an old story for writers to paper in general - (and probably no one views my Tweets or other social media posts), I also post many of my Tweets (which are 240 character idea generators for me) in my blog, with its many labels too - eg see the 'dancing' label - https://scott-macleod.blogspot.com/search/label/dancing and possibly the 'Scotland' label for SCD Tweet sharings! (I might even blog about this:).
It's emails like yours that help generate conversations, - akin to social media conversations even, as I see this - and re feedback loops about reading or not reading the abundance of ideas being shared in the information technology revolution ! :) (See, too, the 'society and information technology' label in blog, about which I teach, even - http://worlduniversityandschool.org/InfoTechNetworkSocGlobalUniv.html - https://scott-macleod.blogspot.com/search/label/society%20and%20information%20technology). Thanks for your feedback!

Glad to have met with edX Online Campus yesterday
Hi, Sri, Rohit, Mariusz, Andrzej, Petros, Partha, Marisol, Peter,
Thank you for your email!
I'm glad to have met with both Marissa and then Matthew at edX Online Campus yesterday in a Zoom audio conference call for 45 minutes - and about WUaS partnering (with no money) with edX Online Campus, and about WUaS offering verified edX courses (with evaluative materials - re https://support.edx.org/hc/en-us/articles/360013426573-What-are-the-differences-between-audit-free-and-verified-paid-courses- - and for licensing / accreditation purposes too) to our matriculating students this autumn and in January. And I'm glad to have scheduled another meeting with Matthew at edX for next Monday. Some of the questions I was inquiring about are here - https://scott-macleod.blogspot.com/2020/09/lecocarpus-pinnatifidus-some-initial.html
I also heard back, out of the blue yesterday, from MOOCit France, our WUaS service provider for Open edX. WUaS cancelled our free startup kit with them a few weeks ago, since we didn't have the expertise (like MIT graduate students ) to migrate, adapt or BUILD MIT OCW courses in WUaS Open edX, but WUaS may pursue this avenue in parallel of verified edX coures for January 2021 - and per your email, Rifai, just now. Thank you.
WUaS may still build out courses, too, in G Suite for Education, and on our WUaS Miraheze MediaWiki too.
Rifai, are you in communication with all the faculty of the courses you sent? Could they eventually become translators of MIT OCW into WUaS Open edX in Sinhala language - and adapting MIT OCW in their fields of expertise regarding their courses? Please keep in touch with them , if you can. They could become a great basis for Sri Lanka WUaS - https://wiki.worlduniversityandschool.org/wiki/Sri_Lanka (https://sites.google.com/view/worlduniversityandschool) - in Sinhala!

Your edX Online Campus Inquiry
Dear Marissa, (at edX),
On behalf of World University and School, some of my initial questions roughly are as follows. They have to do with exploring partnering with edX (where WUaS doesn't have any money to speak of whatsoever).
Would it be possible for WUaS to partner with edX Online Campus? Regarding reimbursement questions for edX, WUaS seeks to migrate or adapt CC-4 MIT OCW into MITx, conceptually, and seek reimbursement from countries' departments of education (eventually along the lines of the tuition - $55,000 / per year per student, for a MIT-centric undergraduate degree).
Would it be possible for WUaS to license and accredit edX classes?relicensing with CA's BPPE - https://twitter.com/CaBPPE accreditation -withWASC senior in CA - https://twitter.com/wascsenior (which accredits Stanford, UC Berkeley, the other 9 University of Californias) - but both newly online.
Could World Univ & Sch's current matriculated class take verified courses this autumn, instead of auditing edX classes which they're doing currently ? Could a previous matriculated student take a verified Finance Theory 1 course (which she could complete, toward her free-to-students' best STEAM CC-4 OpenCourseWare-centric Bachelor's degree, and which she began as a transfer student about 2 years ago)?
(see, for example, this from an email to this student from a few years ago, as an example:WUaS business courses seek to emerge from eg Finance Theory 1https://ocw.mit.edu/courses/sloan-school-of-management/15-401-finance-theory-i-fall-2008/ but be different for students in other languages, like Farsi for Iranian matriculated online undergraduates, for ex. (see archived Persian OCW https://ocw.mit.edu/courses/translated-courses/persian/ > https://wiki.worlduniversityandschool.org/wiki/Business_Management ~- https://twitter.com/WorldUnivAndSch/status/1111021253467336704)
Could WUaS plan for matriculating WUaS students in January 2021 to take verified edX courses, as WUaS also begins to create online courses perhaps via Open edX, and by migrating adapting MIT OCW into something like MITx?
Is edX doing course credit unit planning at edX in any way (where a typical American college course is 14-15 weeks' long, and one course is offered for 3 credits, for three 50 minute long lectures per week, and twice the amount of out-of-class study time)?
In what ways would it be possible for WUaS to plan for a 4 year online Bachelor's degree program (and then later for online Ph.D. programs ... emerging from MIT OCW in its four languages) in edX? Both of these degrees are something that CA's BPPE would license initially, and then WASC senior would accredit concurrently initially.
Regarding Open edX and my previous email, I realize Open edX is a completely separate entity from edX, but in terms of WUaS creation of content, based on migrating / adapting CC-4 MIT OCW, how would this work, please?
How would transcripts work at WUaS, if we partnered, (and in WUaS planning for matriculating students studying for CC-4 OCW-centric degrees in all ~200 countries and their official languages - for Bachelor, Ph.D., Law, MD and I.B. high school degrees eventually)? (Eventually in these regards, WUaS is seeking to code for our matriculated students here - https://wiki.worlduniversityandschool.org/wiki/You_at_World_University - as well as for wiki Universitians in all 7,117 known living languages, and then, brainstorming-wise, for all 7.5 billion people on the planet, as wiki teachers and learners). How would the coding for our WUaS students taking hypothetical verified edX courses (which eventually WUaS created many of, in many languages) work with edX?
Other questions in our conversation! See you soon here - https://us02web.zoom.us/j/86378381897 ! Thank you for this opportunity to ask questions!

Thank you for your email. I'm including below an email from this morning to a matriculated student (in India) in World Univ & Sch's second undergraduate matriculating class, toward free-to-students' licensing and accrediting Bachelor degrees, for your perusal. This student is currently studying edX courses toward his WUaS Bachelor's degree as an auditor. It would be great to talk further about this regarding the edX online campus and MIT OCW-centric World Univ & Sch. Thanks to edX's Leslie Good for suggesting signing up for edX online campus to address "questions about using edX content with school curriculums" (below).
Regarding WUaS Open edX, WUaS cancelled our startup kit with Open edX service partner MOOCit France fairly recently partly because WUaS doesn't have the expertise to migrate or adapt, for example, 6 initial CC-4 MIT OCW courses into WUaS Open edX in our initial majors of EECS, General Science, General Engineering, English, History and Business - worlduniversityandschool.org (toward free-to-students' Bachelor degrees). One approach that WUaS would take in these regards (if WUaS were to have any money) would be for WUaS to hire MIT graduate students (who had even taken the MIT course) to divide a MIT OCW course into two 7-8 week long courses on the WUaS Open edX platform, which we could then offer to our WUaS students for credit as WUaS licenses with BPPE and accredits with WASC senior. But until now, WUaS hasn't been able to ask edX about this. Thank you for this opportunity. I just signed up for 11:30 am PT (in the SF Bay Area) I think, which is 2:30 pm ET in Cambridge, MA, on Monday, 14 September 2020. Looking forward to talking with you, Marissa!

Hi Shahbaz, Larry (chair of the WUaS Board), Rohit (recently graduated lawyer in India), All,
Thanks for your thoughts.
I'll wait to see how edX gets back to World Univ & Sch (today I think). If we can partner with them, it's a very remarkable opportunity for World Univ & Sch, which would allow you to take edX courses (including from Harvard and MIT), in full, for example. And therefore, you could also take MITx from MIT OCW courses, too, - https://ocw.mit.edu/courses/mitx-related-courseware/ (but not yet developed with a kind of Stanford ethos or culture, only a MIT ethos) - if there were any MIT OCW>MITx courses in English literature (but which may come in the future). At this point, I haven't seen what the downsides of collaboration with the edx online campus are.
Having been invited from the edX - https://campus.edx.org/ - online campus page to this panel discussion yesterday - https://studyportalsacademy.com/supporting-international-new-students-in-a-covid-impacted-intake/ - with edX CEO Anant Agarwal in conversation with Physics' Nobel Laureate Brian Schmidt in Australia and Edwin van Rest from the Netherlands), I want to make sure however that WUaS can continue to develop our own Academic Press at WUaS - https://wiki.worlduniversityandschool.org/wiki/Academic_Press_at_World_University_and_School - planned with machine translation first in all ~200 countries' official languages, and then for all 7,117 known living languages, as well as our WUaS Educational Services' Store (having seen some of the edX sponsors on Anant's first slide) - http://worlduniversityandschool.org/AcademicPress.html.
Shahbaz, as you may know, World Univ & Sch is seeking to develop what you suggest from CC-4 MIT OCW in its 4 languages - https://ocw.mit.edu/courses/translated-courses/ - and - https://ocw.mit.edu/ - and - https://wiki.worlduniversityandschool.org/wiki/Subjects (with Wikidata in 300 languages as back end structured knowledge database) - https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q92736- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anant_Agarwal
and - G Suite for Education - https://admin.google.com/u/1/ - and - https://www.google.com/maps/place/World+University+%26+School/@37.8345507,-122.1633793,15z/data=!4m12!1m6!3m5!1s0x0:0xbc76546d8b81c2e7!2sWorld+University+%26+School!8m2!3d37.8343827!4d-122.1635866!3m4!1s0x0:0xbc76546d8b81c2e7!8m2!3d37.8343827!4d-122.1635866 ...
all accessible from - worlduniversityandschool.org .
So these are our own WUaS platform's beginnings, with study materials and syllabi at MIT OCW and on the WUaS wiki subject pages (see, the syllabi section, for example, in the English Literature wiki subject - https://wiki.worlduniversityandschool.org/wiki/English_Literature - as well as its own CC-4 MIT OCW courses). G Suite for Education may further complement edX regarding evaluations. And then World University and School will also grow on our own in all ~200 countries' official languages, and in all 7,117 as wiki schools for open teaching and learning - https://wiki.worlduniversityandschool.org/wiki/Nation_States and https://wiki.worlduniversityandschool.org/wiki/Languages.
edX will add much credibility to the free-to-students' Bachelor, and Ph.D. degrees, first in English (re BPPE licensing), at WUaS, and potentially the Law and MD degrees, as well as IB high school diplomas at WUaS - and in all ~200 nation states' official and main languages online. I also think WUaS will be able to license edX courses with the state of California's BPPE - https://twitter.com/CaBPPE - and become accredited by WASC senior - https://twitter.com/wascsenior - also based in the state of California.
What are your thoughts about this? (And what did you think of "A Midsummer's Night's Dream" https://youtu.be/ftqoy2JPU2I in film online, and regarding your 'Shakespeare Matters" edX course? ... Watching a film while reading a text is a very different way of 'reading' a text in a new way, thanks to the internet)

Are you really certain that this collaboration with edx online campus work for WUaS?
I think we should develop our own platform on the WUaS website for learners and provide them with study materials such as ebooks, videos, etc. And when they are done with the syllabus, lead them to an assessment system on the website where they can write their exams.
I suppose it will add more credibility to the free to degree University. What are your thoughts?

Lecocarpus pinnatifidus: Some initial questions about edX Online Campus, and World Univ & Sch potentially partnering with edX

I think we should develop our own platform on the WUaS website for learners and provide them with study materials such as ebooks, videos, etc. And when they are done with the syllabus, lead them to an assessment system on the website where they can write their exams.
I suppose it will add more credibility to the free to degree University. What are your thoughts?

mountain laurel (Kalmia latifolia): glad to write that World Univ & Sch is talking with edX (Marissa DePaolo) tomorrow, 2) Let's explore adding these Nidahas Vidyalaya Sri Lanka courses on WUaS's WIKI side - - or explore adapting these Nidahas Vidyalaya co
Sri, Rohit, Mariusz, Andrzej, Petros Partha, Marisol, Peter,
Thanks so much for your email, Rifai (head of Sri Lanka WUaS, hence 'Sri'), and of your offer to share these Nidahas Vidyalaya courses with WUaS. There are a couple of parts to my reply. And welcome to Mariusz and Andrzej in Poland, and who are developing in part CC-4 MIT OCW-centric Poland World University and School! And welcome to Petros in Greece, who may be helping to develop in part CC-4 MIT OCW-centric Greece World University and School.
1I'm glad to write that World Univ & Sch is talking with edX (Marissa DePaolo) tomorrow, and about partnering with edX Online Campus. This meeting gives me optimism. If we decide to partner, on edX's partnering terms, this would potentially make it possible for WUaS's matriculated students to take edX courses as WUaS enrolled (edX's VERIFIED meaning paid) edX students, and not just as (edX's AUDITING meaning for free) auditing for free students (... and then WUaS somehow getting some evaluative materials from the WUaS student from edX), which our 2nd undergraduate matriculated class is doing at present (as I understand edX's partnering terms); see - https://support.edx.org/hc/en-us/articles/360013426573-What-are-the-differences-between-audit-free-and-verified-paid-courses- . What's more, I think edX courses will be readily licensable and accreditatable with CA's BPPE and WASC senior, so the degrees WUaS matriculated students eventually get will have much more value than otherwise.
2So thanks for your offer of courses, Rifai! Let's explore adding them on WUaS's WIKI side (rather than WUaS's degree side - re edX courses and accreditation). It looks like many of them are inFinance and the Social Sciences, so here are the Finance - https://wiki.worlduniversityandschool.org/wiki/Finance - and Social Science wiki subject pages at WUaS - https://wiki.worlduniversityandschool.org/wiki/Social_Science (and other related wiki subjects are here - https://wiki.worlduniversityandschool.org/wiki/Subjects), and, for a variety of reasons, please add them to the appropriate wikis, if interested - and in the courses' sections at the top, with URLs. Think of this as a form of open wiki teaching and learning, and as a way of learning about how the wiki side of WUaS works too. Perhaps matriculating Sri Lankan undergraduates in January, for ex., will be able to further help add these courses, and as a form of wiki learning, teaching, and for developing Sri Lanka WUaS (eventually in Sinhala and Tamil) too.
Alternatively, if WUaS decides to proceed with edX Online Campus, and for WUaS licensing and accrediting degrees - with an MIT OCW courses' standard on the edX platform - it's possible we could explore adapting these Nidahas Vidyalaya courses to the edX platform too, such that these courses would become licensed & accreditable by BPPE and WASC senior. Perhaps the faculty who created these courses could even later translate or migrate MIT OCW courses in these subjects, Sri, to the edX platform in the Sinhala language, to build out Sri Lanka WUaS in Sinhala (and Tamil), with time. What do you think? Are you in communication with all of the faculty who created these courses?
3So, If WUaS decides to partner with edX Online Campus, and to begin to offer online accredited Bachelor degrees beginning in January 2021, WUaS will be seeking matriculating students for our free-to-students' MIT OCW-centric World Univ & Sch Bachelor degrees (in a 4 year online program), first in English. Students will be taking 'verified' edX courses in English, and, for edX verified refers to payment, again. Students will also be taking CC-4 MIT OCW courses in MITx, for example, such as https://ocw.mit.edu/courses/mitx-rela... - on the edX platform, potentially. But since World Univ & Sch is CC-4 MIT OpenCourseWare-centric, WUaS can't ask for tuition from students or their families and similar for WUaS's licensing and accrediting degrees (due to the CC-4 licensing). Instead WUaS is seeking reimbursement from countries' departments of education for our WUaS matriculating students. How best to develop these relationships with departments of education in your countries? Sri, Rohit, Mariusz and Petros, since you've all mentioned the possibility of Sri Lankan, India, Polish and Greek students matriculating at WUaS, if students from your countries were taking edX courses toward free-to-students' best STEAM CC-4 OCW-centric online Bachelor degrees, how would you suggest WUaS bring your departments of education in communication with edX in these regards - if WUaS decides to partner with edX?
Thank you, Rifai, for your offer of these great courses! Please add them to the open WUaS wiki, or invite matriculating Sri Lankan students to do so beginning in January - or ask your faculty if they would be interested in translating related MIT OCW courses into the Sinhala language!
So, Sri, Rohit, Mariusz, Andrzej, Petros Partha, Marisol, Peter, do you all think you would be able to find, say, 50 high achieving students from your countries, who speak English, to matriculate at WUaS taking edX courses beginning in January 2021, and who would be likely to finish a 4 year program? Please let me know. Thoughts, questions, ideas, suggestions? Please communicate these as well!
Regards,Scott

Hi Rohit, Sri, Marisol, Peter, Partha,
I'd like to share with you an email conversation with Poland World University and School's Mariusz (a diplomat from Poland) and Andrzej (a professor at the Univ of NH) regarding developing an online World Univ & Sch for Poland, beginning with:
Th, Aug 27, 2020Dear Mariusz, Andrzej, Larry,
In this one blog post from March, at bottom, you'll see costs of going to MIT as well as what MIT looks for in its student applicants - https://scott-macleod.blogspot.com/2020/03/saturn-planet-thanks-for-your-email-and.html - and which WUaS will eventually engage as we grow our classes of students.
Kind regards, Scott
Dear Mariusz, Andrzej, Larry,
Thanks for your email and your questions. Students learning computer-based Machine Learning AI, and the related Reinforcement Learning - so machines actually learn - is what the Google Research Football Environment makes possible in an entirely different way and newly interactive way. This has very significant ramifications for all ~200 countries and companies, as well as Universities. I'll seek to go down the list of your questions in what follows.
One business concept regarding our potential collaboration - and WUaS is open to further conversation about this in many innovative ways - relates to the reimbursement WUaS is seeking as we grow as a university - and from countries' departments of education. In this scenario, you, Mariusz and Andrzej, could conceivably receive 10% of the monies you were able to find or get from departments of education to reimburse World University and School per student per semester / term, along the lines of what a Polish student would pay to go to MIT on-the-ground (about $55,000 per year). This reimbursement would cover WUaS faculty costs as we grow, licensing and accreditation costs, platform development, as well as to build out research infrastructure on the 1) World University and School side (as a legal entity). Polish students would get the knowledge generation benefits of MIT-centric degrees, as well as the career benefits of these ... and with a focus on innovative STEM first in English, then in Polish (knowledge and career-wise too). It's the CC-4 MIT OCW licensing which says WUaS can 1) share, 2) adapt, but 3) non-commercially MIT OpenCourseWare (in its 4 languages currently) and thus, as a developing set of Universities, seek reimbursement from departments of education rather than tuition from private students. WUaS will add licensing and degrees to "1. CC-4 MIT OCW into MITx and 2. via edX and open edX" and much.much more - such as live seminars online with faculty, with live virtual laboratory simulators etc. - as we grow as major online universities with these revenues. So, 10% of $55,000 is $5,500 dollars, so if you found 10 Polish students for January 2021, and related reimbursement to WUaS from Polish departments of education, you could conceivably get $55,000 in January, and if you found 100 students with funding, $550,000 split between you. Please remember that our 6 initial majors (from the 32 MIT OCW departments) are EECS, General Science, General Engineering, English, History, and Business - first in English, then in Polish - all of which might be very practical, yet theoretical too, majors, for Poles who speak English. (This is what American students' families pay in tuition to attend America's highest achieving universities, such as Harvard, MIT and Stanford, and WUaS would seek to improve even on these educational models thanks to the Internet. (No links in this paragraph, with their further information).
Regarding the 3 Universities - initially - I would think that what WUaS could offer to their high achieving university students is subsequent degrees and majors as well - which are MIT OCW-centric for Bachelor and Ph.D.s (in 32 departments), as well as potentially Stanford Law and Stanford Medicine centric, first in English then in Polish.
At present, other collaborations, if US university collaborations are any model, can be challenging (e.g. Harvard and MIT, both in Cambridge, MA, both excellent in the world, are very separate institutions, and collaborations have been hard earned, I'd think). However WUaS is very open to new possibilities in these regards. On the other hand, World University and School first in English, and Poland World Univ & Sch in Polish (eventually), which you both could head, could collaborate much more fulsomely than Harvard and MIT, for example. Please suggest other examples of successful collaboration which might inform WUaS and any one of the three Polish universities you've mentioned.
1 reputation? If these Polish universities 'send' graduates to Harvard and MIT, they benefit from this reputationally - and when the student returns to Poland, these universities and Poland itself benefit from the knowledge learned (but some, like Andrzej, don't return much to Poland), so these 3 Polish universities students who might matriculate at MIT OCW-centric World University and School ,online, would likely remain in Poland after receiving their WUaS degree. 2 Besides eventually hiring their graduates as professors at Poland WUaS for example, and to help adapt MIT OCW into Polish, and thus gain this knowledge, WUaS is open to conversing about this and to proposals too, but remember that WUaS is very young, and it will take a while to graduate our first Ph.D., Law and Medical students online, regarding Poles from these 3 universities who might seek further degrees at WUaS online in English or eventually in Polish!3 See #1, but MIT OCW-centric WUaS has to build this prestige, partly by attracting the highest achieving Polish students, and graduating them. 4 At this point, students ... but open to proposals. Licensing and accreditation with BPPE (see their Twitter feed - link shared if you are interested) and WASC senior, both based in California, are ahead for our Bachelor and Ph.D. degrees - and WASC senior (see their Twitter feed - link shared too if you are interested) is the 'gold standard' of accreditation (and accredits Stanford and Berkeley), and adds much value but is also costly. It's when WUaS begins online MIT OCW-centric Poland WUaS in Polish (and with MIT OCW) that libraries's contents (and Museums too) in Polish would be helpful, from WUaS's perspective, as one example of possible institutional collaboration potential. Open to your suggestions. 5 WUaS seeks to make our degrees as valuable as MIT, Harvard and Stanford degrees (accreditation will help), and thus if a Polish student applies to, gets into, and graduates from one of these universities, and returns to Poland, their career potential may be enormous, and Poland as a country benefits from this knowledge-generation ability too. 6 Building their own reputation further - and especially in the brand new Internet space, with MIT OCW in 4 languages - and with all the internet can offer for new approaches to learning, idea exchange, basic research, and thanks partly to computing. MIT OCW has so many computer science courses, and many of its other 32 departments are informed by computer science and the internet in multiple ways. (Both MIT and Stanford and have been among the most generative of universities in the digital age).
Andrzej, let's communicate further about service science and ISSIP.
Mariusz, regarding your:
"I would see complementary to Your attempts with Google the contribution of polish Simulation center in the field of modern, non existing but short term missed occupations of the future. We have here professional teams/ companies working in the background of INTEL or Google able to develop every needed electronic , fotonic or ICT entity on demand. I stay in touch with those top experts."
A significant aspect of the information technology age has involved creating computer science for it ... and this is an unfolding process, and MIT OCW offers 'building blocks' in these regards that are unparalleled, and which perhaps the professionals, or Poles, you know haven't had experience with, or knowledge of. MIT OCW-centric WUaS seeks to educate for future information technology computer science developments, as well as create careers in these regards, in Polish too. Simulations will be part of this, and for robotics early on for example.
Again, students learning computer Machine Learning AI, and Reinforcement Learning - so machines actually learn - is what the Google Research Football Environment makes possible in an entirely different way and newly interactive way. (Think head of Google AI, Peter Norvig, who wrote the textbook on this, for example).
RE "Could You explain that idea of licensing please? How it works? Who is selling the licese to whom? Unther what conditions? What is the business for every member of this prozess? ."
Creative Commons' licensing is a new form of licensing begun about 20 years ago, and in the case of CC-4 MIT OpenCourseWare, again, allows CC-4 World Univ & Sch to 1) share, 2) adapt, but 3) non-commercially MIT OCW resources (in its current, 4 languages). The idea is about licensing sharing, which is a rewrite for the law in most countries, so please ask further specific questions. And see the bottom of the MIT OCW main page (and the WUaS pages too) to read about this license from their perspective. MIT OCW has successfully raised monies from the Hewlett and Mellon foundations ($US 3-4 million per year, I once read), so they are in the fundraising business in the context of US charities. CC-4 licensing has a non-commercial attribute, which further makes WUaS sharing of MIT OCW possibile and legal, but we both have had to develop our own business models. (And remember that WUaS has 2 wings, as separate legal entities in CA and in the US, the latter of which - the WUaS Press / WUaS Corporation, isn't CC-4 licensed).
Regarding your "On the Stock market in Warsaw I have my own contacts. I know personally the president of the fond of the fond at the Stock market"
- that's a great contact (and potentially re Poland law too). The 3 Polish universities you mention might be able to facilitate a legal base in Poland for WUaS for our for-profit wing, and benefit financially from this too. If and when WUaS begins Actual-Virtual, Physical-Digital online AND on-the-ground bookstores/computer stores/robotics' stores/ hospital technologies' distribution stores, and in Polish, and regarding the law - and which become profitable, and serve out WUaS Polish students well - these Polish universities could benefit significantly. But this would involve matriculating many high achieving Polish students (which you both would benefit from esp.).
After I get a sense of some of your thoughts and questions about the above, let's schedule another chat.
Re the degrees that WUaS seeks to offer initially, in these 6 majors - 1) EECS, 2) General Science, 3) General Engineering, 4) English, 5) History, 6) Business - for free-to-students' online Bachelor degrees, first in English, then in Polish, I'd think that Catholic Poland could find these relevant. Where WUaS heads in Polish and English, and as we begin Ph.D.s with the ~32 departments at MIT in MIT OCW, partly will be informed by a WUaS research agenda that seeks to comparatively study how students learn across languages, and between cultures even. So WUaS may well develop new departments after building from the MIT OCW, and regarding studying online learning with machine learning and AI even. (With my own issues with feminism) I think WUaS will develop new majors not only in English and in Polish at Poland WUaS, but in many other societies, which will seek to address helpful aspects for societies in which WUaS grows. As a Castellian (Manuel Castells) - re social theory informing World Univ & Sch even - I would seek to highlight the IT innovation aspects of his far-reaching thinking and not other aspects, for example, and in these regards. But social science and social theory can also become a huge employer, and generator of faculty even, so I wouldn't want to throw the baby out with the bathwater, regarding social theory in Poland, for example.
Thanks again so much for your questions, and thoughts, and looking forward to learning what you next think and how this leads us conversationally, and collaboration-wise, ahead. Your knowledge of Poland here is enormously valuable here, and it's a culture I know only a very little about. But I think the excellence of WUaS, and in its MIT and Stanford-centricity, if it can attract high achieving smart Polish students will benefit Poland enormously!
Thank you.
Kind regards, Scott
> > > And this, importantly, has Mariusz's questions in response to a previus email in color:
Ma STue, Aug 25, 3:36 AM (3 days ago)to Andrzej, me, Larry
Dear Scott, Dear All,
I appreciate keeping base with You and exchanging our views to the potential cooperation. In order to apply a useful form and better transformation of thoughts please allow me to take position inside of your text.On Sat, Aug 22, 2020 at 12:01 PM Scott MacLeod <sgkmacleod@worlduniversityandschool.org> wrote:I have a few questions about the business concept behind, actually I am asking for the business model of our potential cooperation. As far as I am informed form the many links I tried to look it up, the courses at WUaSare supposed to be conducted in two ways. 1. CC-4 MIT OCW into MITx and 2. via edX and open edX.Is that correct? Too many links are not helpful but confusing. What is all that for and what is the difference occurres the rhetoric question.Dear Mariusz, Dear Andrezj, (& Larry)
Good to be in communication with you. I also apreciate our communication a lot. World Univ & Sch is waiting for the next steps regarding edX or Open edX (re CC-4 MIT OCW into MITx - https://ocw.mit.edu/courses/mitx-related-courseware/) and for one of our matriculating students in India on September 1, 2020 - and how WUaS or edX could provide a letter to prospective employers that this student was matriculated officially at WUaS / edX and similar. I've emailed edX CEO Anant Agarwal about this, and haven't heard back yet. Such WUaS edX / Open edX / MITx courses for Poles who speak English - and letters for prospective employers too - beginning around January 1, 2021 would be important in our communications too. What are your thoughts?I have informed You about my contacts with three polish universities. Before I would approach them with the idea starting cooperation with WUaS and MIT OCW I need to know what is the advantage of the cooperation with you for:And what are your thoughts about helping WUaS find 50-500 Polish students who speak English to matriculate for free-to-students' Bachelors' degrees on January 1, 2021 too?
- the universities, why should they cooperate with you?1. what is the financial advantage for them regarding the scope from one student till 500 students?2. in what fields is there extended cooperation of polish universities with the WUaS possible?3. Is there a prestige related advantage of such cooperation possible?4. Are you interested more in students or in institutional cooperation?5. What is the international value of such matriculation diploma?6. Why should they carry about the cooperation with WUaS and not about their own studies and name?
On the answers to these questions are depending the next related to my person and my role in the WUaS cooperation with Poland.I would like to discuss with you, when You allow me, the scope of studies offered to polish students. When we offer MIT related studies someone would expect the technical or STEM and or space/ aeronautics studies. You know, Poland is extremely catolic. Do You think, keeping on the web side scio-philosophical gender studies would be helpful or not to attract polish students?I think, I am well informed about the roots of the Frankfurter Schule, they have prepared the thought construct ( not idea) called gender to conduct world wide cultural changes.I have many excellent contacts with scientists of catholic church and not catholic provenience and those people inform me, that the consequence of introducing gender studies is lower level of education and less thinking freedom. Te same conclusion I was able to find on the two pages of Neue Zuricher Zeitung. One of the swiss Nobel prize winners, alumni of Harvard after 20 years has complained about the education level at the Harvard university and pointed out the political correctness as a direct agens leading to the lowering of the educational level at the university and the gender ideology as a main idea behind.
Questions would be most welcome about abbreviations and other specifics. (If you'd like to meet again in a video conference for clarifications, please let me know). I like that idea.
To try to respond to each of your sentences:
"There are at least three universities, of different scientific foci and specializations."
> In planning for Poland World University and School - and regarding career generation too - I could see graduate students at these 3 universities as being potential excellent translators of MIT OCW courses into Polish, and in facilitating online seminars (teaching 'sections' in the American system - and in order to gain experience in becoming professors and faculty). The linguistic students would like that perspective.
"The most convenient or best cooperation model we can apply is the T-Shape, Andrzej Ruciński`s service science most preferred method. Because of his heritage and expertise, he could be a master guru of that Idea helping the polish universities by proper implementation and taking maximum advantage of the cooperation with You"
> Andrzej, it would be great to communicate further about this. Bringing ISSIP and service science T-Shape approaches to bear to some of these questions regarding collaborating with Polish universities could be great. Please advise. Scott and Andrzej please talk together and inform me about the agreed results of your talk.
"I am working now on organization and establishing a simulator for remote users from Poland and different countries. The leading Idea of that simulator is providing access to people/ organizations/ companies willing to assess the leadership qualities. In my opinion we could take into consideration the usage of this simulator idea in the CC 4 MIT OCW framework as a more advanced stage. It would be a practical approach to the "T-shape" method."
> I'm likely going to give a UC Berkeley Anthropology talk this autumn on a single realistic virtual earth for everything (including tourism studies and tourism; see bottom here - https://scott-macleod.blogspot.com/2020/08/rosa-californica-california-frontier.html - and below), - and regarding building out of Google Street View with TIME SLIDER, Maps, Earth, TensorFlow AI, Translate, with Samsung Neons aka 'artificial humans' and group build-able with avatars like Second Life, but realistic, and into Google Poly (a library of virtual objects) - all very Google platform-centric. Mariusz, this would also include a single realistic virtual earth for these academic fields here - worlduniversityandschool.org - so I'm wondering what areas or aspects in these contexts for simulators you'd see as helpful in building out. I would see complementary to Your attepts with Google the contribution of polish Simulation center in the field of modern, non existing but short term missed occupations of the future. We have here proffesonal teams/ companies working in the background of INTEL or Google able to develope evry neded electronic , fotonic or ICT entity on demand. I stay in touch with that top experts. I'm wondering, for example, in particular, whether a #RealisticVirtualEarthForRobotics simulation https://twitter.com/hashtag/RealisticVirtualEarthForRobotics?src=hashtag_click and regarding a #RealisticVirtualEarthForLegos simulation - https://twitter.com/hashtag/RealisticVirtualEarthForLegos?src=hashtag_click and even for AI machine learning or Reinforcement Learning - https://twitter.com/WUaSPress/status/1273316053976678401?s=20 - regarding Google Research Football could be helpful for Polish students at WUaS first in English and then in Polish? The idea with the football i didn`t catch.
"A) The next point of our discussion could be, taking advantage of MIT OCW and so broad access to the students globally, B) and turning the contacts into the business projects in cooperation with the local entities/ academic technology transfer offices/ VC and so on."
A) This is one approach CC-4 MIT OCW into MITx - https://ocw.mit.edu/courses/mitx-related-courseware/ - but would probably for WUaS have to happen after WUaS heard back about WUaS edX letters for prospective employers from edX CEO Anant Agarwal or when WUaS builds out again for January in Open edX via MOOCit France as course service provider. And for this WUaS is seeking 6 MIT or similar graduate students to adapt MIT OCW into courses on Open edX in our WUaS 6 majors for free-to-students' Bachelor degrees. (edX isn't easy to work with, I've found so far, but am hoping collaborations grow, as WUaS offers licensing and accrediting free to students' CC-4 MIT OCW-centric Bachelor degrees) Could You explain that idea of licensing please? How it works? Who is selling the licese to whom? Unther what conditions? What is the business for every member of this prozess? . World Univ & Sch is seeking to develop as its own legal entity in Poland.
B)Where WUaS is heading with business projects is first with our WUaS Educational Services' Store - http://worlduniversityandschool.org/AcademicPress.html - and in Poland (English, Polish) too for students' books, robotics' stores, computer stores (and perhaps even eventually list this Polish WUaS Educational Services' Store on the Polish stock market). On the Stock market in Warsaw I have my own contacts. I know personaly the president of the fond of the fond at the Stock market. VC will be important here, and as WUaS develops our technological innovations, we'll probably parallel the MIT TEchnology Licensing office http://tlo.mit.edu - but under WUaS auspices (for which we'll hire career positions). The WUaS Press / WUaS Corp is similarly seeking to develop as its own legal entity in Poland. But collaborations in the beginning may be important and invaluable too! What may be the advatages for the colaborating universities?
"I am not sure because of so many abbreviations in Your text that I fully comprehend Your meaning.Am I allowed to ask You some particular questions in order to better understand your proposal?""
> Again - Questions would be most welcome about abbreviations and other specifics. (If you'd like to meet again in a video conference for clarifications, please let me know too). I would love to, so we would go over the most importent parts of the text together, and I would get a full picture of Your idea.Hope, You don`t mind my direct style and different look on the current leading ideology at the universities?
World Univ & Sch is seeking Polish students for January 2021 first in English. Very nice to be in communication!
Kind regards
Mariusz
Please let me know your further thoughts and questions about WUaS regarding the above, Rohit, Sri, Marisol, Peter, Partha.

Despite pandemic, many Europeans still see climate change as greatest threat to their countries
Climate change outpaces or ties infectious disease as the most frequently mentioned “major threat” in eight of 14 countries polled this past summer, including seven of the nine European countries surveyed. People in five countries, including the United States, name the spread of disease as the foremost threat as the coronavirus pandemic continues. People in two countries, Australia and Denmark, name cyberattacks.

Few Americans are confident in tech companies to prevent misuse of their platforms in the 2020 election
Three-quarters of U.S. adults say technology companies have a responsibility to prevent the misuse of their platforms to influence the presidential election, but only around a quarter say they are very or somewhat confident in these firms to do so. Since January, the share of Republicans who say tech companies are responsible for preventing misuse of their platforms has declined, while the share of Democrats saying this has grown.

A new analysis of data collected in early April finds that many parents with lower incomes who had children in schools that were teaching remotely at the time said their children would likely face digital obstacles in completing their schoolwork. These obstacles included having to do schoolwork on a cellphone, having to use public Wi-Fi and not being able to complete work due to not having access to a computer at home.

U.S. teens take after their parents religiously, attend services together and enjoy family rituals
When it comes to religion, American teenagers and their parents tend to have a lot in common – though not quite as much as the parents may think. Most U.S. teens share the religious affiliation of their parents or legal guardians and attend services about as often as their parents do. When there are differences between kids and their parents, however, it’s usually the teens who are less religious.

GREG MANKIW'S BLOGRandom Observations for Students of EconomicsSUNDAY, JUNE 07, 2020What I've been watchingOver the past week, I have watched the six-part HBO miniseries The Plot Against America , which came out in March. It is based on the 2004 Philip Roth novel of the same title and tells an alternative history in which FDR is defeated in 1940 by the fascist-sympathizing Charles Lindbergh through the eyes of a Jewish family living in Newark, NJ. Compelling story, well acted. It is the best piece of television I have seen in years.

Erik, could we focus explicitly on expanding the contacts' list in the CareKit - and explore extending this to all 7. 5 billion people for #AvatarBotElectronicMedicalRecords (https://twitter.com/hashtag/AvatarBotElectronicMedicalRecords?src=hashtag_click) even, and in 200 countries / their languages. ? Thanks and regards, Scott (worlduniversityandschool.org)#AvatarBotElectronicMedicalRecords hashtag on TwitterSee Tweets about #AvatarBotElectronicMedicalRecords on Twitter. Re ResearchKit, am interested too where Google's TensorFlow, as part of the Google Cloud would play a role in tailoring better medical interventions? ... and for tele-robotic surgery too. Thank you.
Erik [ CareKit & ResearchKit]Today at 7:08 PM
@ScottWorldUnivAndSch Can you elaborate on what you’d like to do with contacts? I’m not sure I understood your idea.
ScottWorldUnivAndSchToday at 8:12 PM
@Erik [ CareKit & ResearchKit] In what ways might it be possible to extend, connect or interoperate Contacts in CareKit (ResearchKit too) with specific electronic health records (eg Kaiser Permanente's, or EPIC's in a specific state, or Stanford / Duke's Google's Project Baseline's or Stanford Hospitals, or the Palo Alto VA's ... and then conceivably to all 7.5 billion people on planet via #AvatarBotElectronicMedicalRecords?) MIT OCW-centric World Univ & Sch seeks to explore doing this via a Wikidata Q-item # or similar Wikidata PIN # (and in Wikipedia's 300 languages).
These would also interoperate with, conceivably, the Google - Apple Coronavirus tracing App - in all its different countries, and for genetic information too (in the event of a very very serious worldwide epidemic)Care Kit could then also involve planning for individuals' tele-robotic surgeries in time, in a https://twitter.com/hashtag/RealisticVirtualEarthForSurgery?src=hashtag_click (in Google Street View with time slider, Maps, Earth, TensorFlow with realistic avatar bots) - and regarding even Google's TensorFlow AI, as part of the Google Cloud, in furthering TensorFlow's role in tailoring better medical interventions, and for surgery too, for example. Thanks, Erik! (MIT OCW-centric online Med Schs - https://wiki.worlduniversityandschool.org/wiki/World_University_Medical_School - planned in all ~200 countries and in their official languages).

Perhaps the coronavirus - sans SARS' genetics - is working to protect Americans and other countries' citizens in new ways?
I think I'll still be able to walk in and around the beautiful Indian valley, entering from the Wilcox staging area along Pinehurst (although it's currently closed for a year or 2 for renovation / a re-build) ... 'EBRPD, Wilcox Station Staging Area' - 920 Pinehurst Rd, Orinda, CA 94563, which is just down the road from Canyon 94516, 1 .5 or 2 miles even, and part of EBMUD too but here called far-away Orinda! interesting ... The nearby Valle Vista Staging Area - EBMUD Valle Vista Staging Area, Moraga, CA 94556 - on the road into Moraga will also be great to revisit (and others).
Soon not to be a 'hermit,' :) after moving ... thanks for the helpful focus to move!
What are you up to this weekend?

UBI Experiments to distribute a single cryptocurrency, with planning for economic opportunity and jobs?
Mark Popovich <Mark.Popovich@aspeninstitute.org>Wed, Sep 9, 5:28 AM (1 day ago)

The EOP program received your email in follow up to the “California Approach” Opportunity in America Session. Thanks for joining in the session. It was very informative and did draw a sizable live stream audience as well.
To help us respond to your inquiry, could you provide some more information on how you see the connection between UBI and MIT Digital Currency Initiative. Do you or does your work have some formal or informal connection to the MIT/Boston Fed initiative? Finally, is there something more specific you seek from EOP in response your email/inquiry?
Regards,
Mark PopovichDirector, Good Companies/Good Jobs Initiative

Scott MacLeod <sgkmacleod@worlduniversityandschool.org>3:42 PM (2 hours ago)

Thank you for your response. Brainstorming-wise, CC-4 MIT OCW-centric wiki World University and School seeks to plan to code for all 7.5 billion people on the planet, each a Wikidata Q-item # or a derivative Wikidata PIN # (see: https://worlduniversityandschool.blogspot.com/2020/08/minutes-for-sat-aug-15-2020-world.html - and the UBI label in both blogs for further information). Coding for 7.5 billion people, each a Wikidata Q-item number - partly as wiki teachers and learners at WUaS, for speakers of all 7, 117 known living languages - would facilitate the 'universal' word in Universal Basic Income experiments, and regarding getting UBI experiments to people. The MIT Digital Currency Initiative - with Neha Narula as its director - would facilitate the coding of a single digital currency (e.g. Bitcoin, 'Mine Pi' or call it what you well), and backed by potentially most of ~200 countries' central banks. The Boston Fed with the MIT DCI would publish how. (WUaS donated itself to Wikidata, Wikipedia's back end structured knowledge database in 2015, and received the WUaS Miraheze MediaWik as a front end in 2017 - e.g. https://wiki.worlduniversityandschool.org/wiki/Poverty_Action - but they are not yet interoperable - e.g. https://wiki.worlduniversityandschool.org/wiki/You_at_World_University).
Neha Narula has, for some years, been on the World Univ & Sch Monthly Business Meeting email list, but has only communicated directly very infrequently, and WUaS follows her and the MIT DCI on Twitter.
With the EOP's mission, and focus on jobs and income for workers, in part, re - https://www.aspeninstitute.org/of-interest/whats-new-economic-opportunities-program-december-2018/ - in what ways could the EOP help formulate policy, strategy, bipartisan support, and knowledge generation, and similar, about how UBI experiments to alleviate poverty worldwide, in all ~200 countries, would work with existing job programs, public assistance programs, the private sector, in all ~200 countries, (currency markets even) and with already-conducted UBI experiments (including especially the state of California's Stockton UBI experiment) - to distribute also a single cryptocurrency?
Thank you, and looking forward to communicating further about this. (Larry Viehland, also an alumnus of the University of Wisconsin, is the chair of both wings of WUaS). Thank you also for the two recent interesting Aspen Institute talks. WUaS also seeks to create 2.2 million high quality careers in all ~200 countries, and in all 7,117 known living languages, on both wings (both academic and 'big box' retail potentially). What are your thoughts about this? And how might we best communicate further?

Thanks so much for your excellent "California’s Approach to Recovery and Resilience: Centering Equity and Job Quality" panel today - https://www.aspeninstitute.org/events/californias-approach-to-recovery-and-resilience-centering-equity-and-job-quality/ !
Regarding UBI experiment questions, and your great responses, am thinking at CC-4 MIT OCW-centric wiki World Univ & Sch of exploring facilitating UBI experiments in all ~200 countries, and for speakers of all 7,117 known living languages as wiki (for open teaching and learning online) Universitans, in planning for all 7.5 billion people on planet - re Universal word - and to alleviate poverty worldwide, and to distribute a single digital cryptocurrency (eg Bitcoin or Mine Pi etc., and post Euro in 19 out of 28 nation states) backed by most of ~200 countries’ central banks. See other comments in chat and Q&A in these regards in Zoom today as well. The WUaS Press / Corporation would like to explore facilitating this and potentially via the emergent long term Silicon Valley stock exchange, and in communication with the state of CA's Stockton UBI experiment (and others worldwide), as well as the MIT Digital Currency Initiative - https://twitter.com/neha/status/1294420586089910272?s=20 - with the Boston Federal Reserve.

Dear Marissa,
Thank you for your email.

Shahbaz, as you may know, World Univ & Sch is seeking to develop what you suggest from CC-4 MIT OCW in its 4 languages - https://ocw.mit.edu/courses/translated-courses/ - and - https://ocw.mit.edu/ - and - https://wiki.worlduniversityandschool.org/wiki/Subjects (with Wikidata in 300 languages as back end structured knowledge database) - https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q92736- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anant_Agarwal
and - G Suite for Education - https://admin.google.com/u/1/ - and - https://www.google.com/maps/place/World+University+%26+School/@37.8345507,-122.1633793,15z/data=!4m12!1m6!3m5!1s0x0:0xbc76546d8b81c2e7!2sWorld+University+%26+School!8m2!3d37.8343827!4d-122.1635866!3m4!1s0x0:0xbc76546d8b81c2e7!8m2!3d37.8343827!4d-122.1635866 ...
all accessible from - worlduniversityandschool.org.

Scott:
Are you really certain that this collaboration with edx online campus work for WUaS?
I think we should develop our own platform on the WUaS website for learners and provide them with study materials such as ebooks, videos, etc. And when they are done with the syllabus, lead them to an assessment system on the website where they can write their exams.
I suppose it will add more credibility to the free to degree University. What are your thoughts?

One thing that I'd like to confirm is the fact that a typical 4 year BA degree requires 120 credit hours. Then, how come Reed College requires 600 credits for the same?
*
Shahbaz,
Glad you're looking at the Reed College credit hour system. Presently, as WUaS begins to explore partnering with edX and on the edX online campus, WUaS seeks to develop a rough credit hour system with edX courses - per week - as the basic credit unit, roughly, and for now (per what I described earlier) - and with WUaS's 600 credit unit system for a free-to-students' 4-year CC-4 MIT OCW-centric Bachelor degree. Please translate roughly from the typical BA credit hour system or the Reed College credit hour system.
In terms of credit units at WUaS, and licensing accreditation in California, basing a system further on MIT OCW's 15-week long courses - https://ocw.mit.edu/ - (which the above 600 credit unit system is, in a sense but roughly, ie 10 MIT OCW courses per year over 4 years) makes most sense.
Thanks, ScottRe Reed College links - - https://scott-macleod.blogspot.com/2020/09/sarus-crane-wuas-news-and-q-9720-i.html - WUaS platform & edX & credit units (continued)- https://scott-macleod.blogspot.com/2020/09/dark-purple-trichoglottis-world-univ.html -

Taylor,
Here's this email in this thread, and since ...
Piobaireachd the College of Piping's yellow tutor, Vol. 4, is a kind of Scottish small pipes' theory too.
Am looking forward to beginning Piobaireachd with you on Thursday - and with "The Company's Lament," the first tune in the CoP Yellow Tutor, Vol. 3. Am appreciative of how helpful the CD is for learning Piobaireachd - and Cantaireachd especially - between lessons especially, and how my oft-played CD, which I just put in my only CD player has some skips in it. Shall I try to play the CD for you in the lesson, so you might have a record of it (of the Crunluath, the Cantaireachd, the Ground or Urlar - and much more, albeit with skips), and of me playing too? The Yellow Tutor also begins with playing the Crunluath (and Taorluath) finger movements - and again the CD is invaluable. It might be helpful for you in learning these 4 Piobaireachds if you got the book and CD - if you think you would 'drink them in' - play with them a lot, for all their remarkable teachings! "The Company's Lament" is a beautiful Piobaireachd! (And where are you with ordering or not the B flat SSP chanter?) Both I think you would enjoy, learn with, and benefit from. If each Piobaireachd has 5 or so parts, and there are a number of new fingering movements too, it might make sense to focus more on Ceol Mor than Ceol Beag in the upcoming lesson too.
See you Thursday!
Musical cheers,
Scott

Am glad to be able to keep the smoke out with windows closed ... while surfing the internet, and even regarding wiki teaching and learning about anything - https://wiki.worlduniversityandschool.org/wiki/Subjects - for ex.! :)
Hopefully we'll be able to enter into a Realistic Virtual Earth or Harbin - https://twitter.com/hashtag/RealisticVirtualHarbin?src=hashtag_click - and continue surfing there! Presently, you can only walk down the Harbin "road" "4 miles" to Middletown, CA here ~ http://tinyurl.com/p62rpcg ~ https://twitter.com/HarbinBook ~ http://bit.ly/HarbinBook ~ in Google Street View (but not get into the virtual Harbin warm pool from our home bathtubs), but perhaps later we'll be able to hike the Pacific Crest Trail in a digital mask too, and from home. :)
Friendly regards, Scott

Piobaireachd
(classical bagpiping music for the Scottish bagpipe)
Taylor,
Here's this email in this thread, and since ...
