9 Proven Ways to Monetize Your Blog – Make Money Blogging in 2021

Are you looking for some proven blog monetization method to monetize your blog to convert your ‘baby’ blog into a money making blog?

Today I’m going to show you some of the most profitable ways to monetize your blog to maximize your income.

In fact,

I’m using some of these monetization methods to monetize my blog and slowly I’m implementing other methods too.

Check out these monetization methods, implement them and make money blogging in 2021.

Let’s dive right in.

1. Blog Advertisements

This is the most easiest and popular monetization methods available on the blogosphere.

As a beginner blogger, Google AdSense is the #1 ad network you can use to monetize your blog.

To generate more revenue using Google Adsense, once you reach 25K sessions, apply to Mediavine.

If you cross 100K pageviews, you can directly apply to AdThrive.

Looking for a Google AdSense alternative?

Try Media.net. They are reputable, they also have a large number of advertisers, and their payouts are good too.

Google AdSense is easy to set up, but the amount of money you can earn from AdSense is limited. So, directly selling banner ad space can be more profitable.

It takes more work to manage directly selling ads than Google AdSense. You’ll have to negotiate the pricing, come up with an agreement and take care of invoicing.

However, using a WordPress ad management plugin such as Ad Inserter can make the process easier.

I recommend you use AdSanity, it allows you to manage Google AdSense as well as your own banner ads.

Many bloggers hate blog advertisements because it can make your site slow and ugly. It also distracts your visitors and affects your site design.

However, there are many profitable ways to monetize your blog without AdSense and blog advertisements that don’t affect your site design and don’t distract your visitors.

Keep reading to learn more about these blog monetization methods.

2. Affiliate Marketing

Affiliate marketing is a proven way to make passive income by monetizing your blog’s loyal audience.

I’m a big fan of affiliate marketing and I often write about the power of affiliate marketing on my blog.

If you’re a beginner blogger, instead of waiting for Google AdSense approval, you should try affiliate marketing to monetize your blog from day one. After all, it’s one of the best ways to monetize your blog without AdSense.

Affiliate marketing is the process of earning a commission by promoting other people’s and companies products. You earn a commission for each sale that you make through your unique affiliate links.

To make money from affiliate marketing, all you need is a loyal and a target audience.

Write high-quality content, use affiliate links, drive targeted traffic, build a loyal audience and see the magic.

This post contains affiliate links (I don’t recommend anything that I don’t believe in), meaning at no extra cost to you, I might receive a small commission for purchases made through these links.

3. Email Marketing

The money is on the list!

The line is so true!

Email marketing is vital if you want to start a money making blog in 2021.

One of the most powerful methods for making money from your blog and building a strong bond with your readers is directly through email marketing.

By using your engaging email list you can market your blog posts and market your own products and services along with affiliate offers directly through email.

Top bloggers use an email list to market their blog, to monetize their blog and to grow their online business.

I’m using Mailerlite, a beginner-friendly email marketing and automation tool that lets you create beautiful and professional email forms that fit with your branding.

Mailerlite free plan lets you have up to 1000 subscribers. It’s a great alternative to MailChimp because of its easy to customize features.

1000 targeted subscribers is enough to market and monetize your blog as a beginner blogger.

After that, you can go with their premium plan that offers more features, or you can use other email marketing services such as Convertkit, Aweber, etc.

4. Sponsored Blog Posts and Reviews

As you grow your blog and your brand, you can collaborate with individuals, brands, and companies. They can contact you to write a sponsored post or a review post for their products.

Also, you can directly contact the individuals and companies you want to collaborate with. Tell them how you can help grow their business using your reach.

It becomes easier to get sponsorship when you are working on a specific niche and if you have a target and engaging audience.

5. Sell Digital Products

You can effectively sell any type of digital product on your blog as long as it’s valuable to your readers and relevant to your content.

Digital products can be a combination of videos, eCourses, eBooks, downloadable guides, resources, PDFs, images, audio files, software components, SaaS and others.

As a blogger, you can use your blog to promote your services to gain clients.

On your blog, you can show off your writing skills, design skills or you can write about your other skills on your blog posts.

This way you’re using your blog as your portfolio and you’re continuously marketing your skills as a freelancer.

As a beginner blogger, it can be hard to get clients using your blog. So, start working with clients on Fiverr, 99designs (as a designer), and other freelancing sites.

7. Create and Sell Online Courses

It’s probably one of the best ways to make money blogging.

People love online courses because online courses are organized, straightforward, and actionable.

An online course is a passive income source for niche experts and teachers.

So, if you are a niche expert and If you have a skill that you want to teach your audience, you can share your knowledge by creating online courses.

You can host your online course on your WordPress blog using LearnDash, or you can use Teachable to host and sell your online courses.

Try Teachable for FREE!

Also, you can use Udemy or Skillshare to host and sell your online course with their existing audience.

8. Sell eBooks

Writing a best-selling eBook requires some knowledge and a bit of time investment upfront, but it can be a great source of passive income that works month after month.

The earning opportunity is huge.

For example,

Taylor Pearson sold over 5,000 copies of his book ‘The End of Jobs‘ in four weeks and in 2015 had made over $60k from just that book.

With Amazon, it’s pretty easy to self publish your eBook and make money from it. Just follow Amazon’s book writing guide and start writing your first book.

Also, don’t forget to promote your book through social media platforms, bloggers and influencers in that niche.

If you can sell a few hundred copies the first week of launching your book, Amazon will take over your eBook and start promoting it for you.

By the way,

Make $250 Per Sponsored Post – Top 10 Sponsored Post Networks You Must Join Now

Sponsored posts can be a great way to make money blogging!

In 2020, I became a full-time blogger. This was possible because I make money with sponsored posts, affiliate marketing, and Google AdSense.

A sponsored post is one in which a blogger gets paid to promote a brand or product on their blog.

You can talk about a brand or product you love, share details on how you use a certain product or how it can benefit others, and get paid to do it.

Today in this post, I’m gonna talk about the best sponsored post networks, the ways you can get sponsorship opportunities and how much you should charge for sponsored posts, and the rules you must follow when it comes to sponsored posting.

Learn how to get brand deals, and how to get sponsored posts opportunities to make money online.

Here are some ways to get paid to blog with sponsored post opportunities.

Let’s dive right in.

Create Profiles on Sponsored Post Networks

Making a profile on one of the sponsored post networks and influencer marketing websites is one of the easiest ways to get noticed by brands.

Don’t forget to complete your profile and make it as detailed as possible.

On sponsored post websites, they’re going to ask you what your blog is about.

You should make this as exciting, engaging, and as detailed as possible without writing a lengthy story.

For example, don’t just say, “Inuidea is a blog about online business and entrepreneurship” I’d say, “Inuidea is a blog dedicated to young hustlers and aspiring entrepreneurs who want to start their own online business to make money online.”

In addition, many of these sponsored post networks only accept bloggers who meet certain qualifications.

@InuEtc (Everywhere)

I’ve known [brand name] for a long time now and really appreciate you guys for the quality and value which you guys offer and I’d like to inquire if you’d be open to promote [brand name] on my blog which I feel would be a perfect fit for my audience. I will write an original SEO article or I can publish an article written by your guest author.

Kindly let me know if you’re open to this and what content I can provide for you that will assist your business.

I would be happy to open up a dialogue to discuss my general rates, your requests, or any other particulars necessary.

Here you’ll find my Work With Me page with all other important information including brands I’ve worked with, and a general overview of who I am.

Thanks in advance, and I look forward to hearing from you!

Inu Etc

You become much more likely to get sponsored posts after you’ve developed partnerships with brands and worked with some sponsored post companies.

Due to my experience working with many brands, I now get emails almost daily with sponsored post opportunities.

In most cases, I turn them down, either because their brand is unfit for my blog or because their budget is not sufficient.

Is it necessary to disclose that you work with a brand?

You need to disclose at the top of a post that it is a sponsored post if you are being compensated for it or getting free products from a brand.

Check out the FTC’s endorsement guides and FAQ page regarding sponsored posting and online advertising.

If you don’t follow these guidelines you may get into trouble. Many influencers and bloggers are getting in trouble due to not clearly labeling that their Instagram post or blog post is an ad or sponsored post.

How much do sponsored posts pay? How much should you charge for sponsored posts?

While everyone has a different opinion on this, I think bloggers and influencers should never charge less than $250.

Writing a sponsored post takes time, and you have to make it engaging and relevant while also promoting a brand, and sometimes you might have to do some negotiation and a bit of back and forth with the brand or the company until you get everything right.

Definitely charge more for brands that are bigger; they take a lot more time when communicating via email since they consult with their team before taking any important steps, which is why you will encounter a lot more delays.

If they have tens or hundreds of thousands of followers on social media, you know they are a popular brand. Also, search on Google about them, if they have a strong presence on Google, you know they are a reliable and popular brand.

As a beginner blogger, you can begin with $100 to $150 and charge $50 per social media share. You should charge more if you have to create graphics and other types of content for the brand.

As your blog traffic increases and your social media fan base grows, you can charge more.

Now learn from my mistakes.

Over the past year, I have realized how much I have undervalued my work and myself as a blogger.

I was afraid to charge too much!

My fear is that I’ll be denied or told that I am not deserving of that fee if I charge too much.

The worst that can happen is they will say no.

Nevertheless, you are free to negotiate and offer them a lower price if you are comfortable communicating with the brand.

You can also wait for them to email you saying yes, they will pay the fee.

I’ve experienced this multiple times.

Basically, I’m saying that you should feel confident in who you are and what you do. Never undervalue your work or your brand. Be sure to charge for your hard work.

Now it’s your turn!

You’ve read about the ways to get sponsored post opportunities and about the top 10 sponsored post networks you must join now.

5 Common Entry Points Through Which Malware Can Infect Your System

Business owners must implement robust security schemes to prevent malware from getting into the network and its connected workstations. When monitoring the network, the network administrator must review all entry points where malware can get in and infect the network or the systems.

These vulnerabilities could present easy entry for malicious software that could capture data and use it for financial gains. By addressing the 5 common entry points, the administrators can keep the network and workstations safer.

1. Viruses Attached to an Email

When accessing email, it is recommended that the computer user avoid any emails from unknown senders. Most email services are set up to send any suspicious emails to the spam folder, but many workers continue to use less secure email services and access them via their workstations.

If they open the email and click on a link in the message the computer could be infected with malware from a virus. If the computer gets infected, the business must contact Small Business IT Support for fast assistance.

2. Clicking On an Unsecured Website

Unsecured websites are a cesspool for viruses and malware, and many network administrators set up blocks on any website that isn’t work-related. By allowing workers to access websites freely, there is a higher risk that the malware will find its way into the computer.

They don’t have to click links on the website to infect the computer. As soon as they click on the website link, the malware can infect the computer just as the website loads on the computer. By preventing access to the websites, the administrator does their part to protect the network.

3. Unverified Downloads

Unverified downloads could lead to viruses and malware infections. Workers receive files through the network via emails and file-sharing programs. By clicking on the download, the worker could place the network at risk. The administrators can set up the software to evaluate downloads to determine if they are infected. This could lower the risk of malicious software getting into the workstation and affecting the network and workstation.

4. Links On Social Media

Too often, companies do not block all connections to social media and prevent workers from clicking on links that allow malware into the workstation. Businesses use social media profiles to provide information to followers about products and services. However, they don’t always set up permission for just their moderator, and if other workers can access social media, there is a greater risk of the workers clicking on malicious content.

5. Software Requesting Permission to Bypass the Firewall

At any time that a dialog box appears and requests permission to bypass the firewall, the worker should contact the network administrator. By disabling the firewall, the virus or malware can enter the computer and compromise the entire network.

The request may seem non-threatening, but there is absolutely no reason that any download or product should require the company to lower its firewall. The request itself should be a sign that a cyber attack is on the horizon.

Business owners need a network administrator to keep their network and systems safer and secure. When reviewing entry points for malicious software, they discover that viruses and malware can be attached to emails and unsecured websites.

Unverified downloads could allow the software to be installed on the computer and enter the network. By getting dedicated IT support services, businesses keep malicious software off their workstations and away from their network.

Mobile App Launch – The Ultimate ASO Checklist

Launch day is nearly there and you probably have a lot on your mind. So, is your App Store Optimization strategy ready?

The day you plan to hit the proverbial launch button will be taxing as well as exciting. You must be freaking out. And understandably so, you have invested a lot of hard work into your application. Of course, you would have spent a substantial amount of time coming up with a dedicated app store optimization strategy. And yes, it is a given that you will continuously track your progress and refine your ASO strategy over time. But before you actually launch the application, there are some practices as suggested by digital marketing experts that must be carried out more importantly than others.

To avoid the feeling of, ‘I think I’ve forgotten something…’ we have put together an ultimate checklist that provides a rundown of everything you need to get done with respect to ASO before the application is available to the public.

Choose the Right Name

The is pivotal because it reflects to your potential customers what the app is about and makes the application stand out in app store search results. If you’re explaining the app’s primary features, make sure you’ve included all of the important keywords, as this affects the app’s search performance and conversion rates.

The following characteristics are a sign of a good application name:

Captivating and inventive. One-of-a-kind: In application search results, a unique app name will come up first.Relevant and detailed: This way, consumers get a good picture of what your app is about and it ranks higher for related keywords.Less difficult to spell and pronounce.Keyword Optimization is Essential

Typically, users search for applications on app stores using only a few words or 2-3 word feature-based phrases. It’s important to remember that relevant search traffic is only feasible when the right keywords are employed.

Developers could use accurate mobile data to better understand user search behavior and optimise their app. It’s important to remember that developers with apps in the iOS App Store have a character limit of 100 characters, so optimize it accordingly with appropriate usage of relevant keywords.

On the other hand, Google Play Store does not ask you to submit keywords. As a result, developers should choose keywords that are most relevant to their app and include them in the description, as phrases that are unrelated to your app may lower your ranking.

When using keywords, keep the following things in mind:

Avoid using gaps or words that are repeated. Keywords in the title should be prioritized.Use either the singular or plural form of the word.Additional localizations should be used.Use search suggestions from Typehead, Search Ads and App Store suggested related searches.Avoid using keywords that involve the word “app” or the brand name of a competitor.

Add Engaging Content – Preview Video

A preview video is a game-changer in determining the success of your app. So, if you plan to create quality video content, we advise you to test the preview video first before you publish it to app stores.

When adding a preview video for your app, keep the following in mind:

It must be brief and to the point. It has been discovered that after 12 seconds, 80 percent of users stop watching a preview video. As a result, there will be no hedging!Skip the fade-in and welcome message at the start of your video.Pay close attention to the poster frame (iOS) or feature graphic (Android), as it takes up the majority of the space in your first screenshots. As a result, make sure that the poster frame/feature graphic adheres to the same guidelines as your screenshot images.Draft a Compelling Application Description

A strong and compelling description is essential to expand your user base. The app’s description should emphasize customer segmentation. It should entice your potential customers to download the application. Instead of stating ‘what you give’, explain ‘what they get.’ There is a subtle difference between the two.

To help you understand this better, here are some elements that you should use in your description:

A concise and simple explanation of what the app does.Power words that focus on providing value to the customers.List the app’s unique selling points and benefits in a compelling way. After reading the description, the reader should feel the need to download it.Use the keyword no more than 5 times in the entire body of the description for the description to make sense to the reader. Most importantly, avoid overstuffing keywords or your listing may get flagged.

The starting few lines of the description must explain the app; what it does and how it adds value for the users. Use relevant keywords preferably in the first 250 characters of the description. Also, keep in mind that you do not cram too many words in the pretext of optimization.

The description and the entire product page must be updated with all the relevant information. Simply put, use the 4000 character limit description to invigorate users into downloading your app.

Have a Website? Drive Traffic to App Store Page

If you have a website for your mobile application, you can boost the traffic of the application by adding its link on your website. Make it more visible in order to get more downloads when it gets launched.

And not just that, use social media to promote the launch of your application. Share the download link on all the platforms without any hassle. If you have a website, promoting your app becomes very easy. Otherwise, you can opt for online advertising which again can help boost traffic to your application pages.

Final Thoughts: Mobile App Launch – The Ultimate ASO Checklist

With millions of apps available on Google Play and the App Store, you must give your all in this battle to be discovered. The competition is fierce and to beat them, App Store Optimization is critical. The aforementioned App Store Optimization practices, combined with a good application, effective marketing, and user acquisition, will make sure your mobile application has a successful launch. Besides, ASO is not something that you do today and forget about it for the next 6 months. You must constantly keep optimizing your app by refining your keyword list, monitoring their SERP positions, tracking reviews and ratings, coming up with new ideas to improve the elements of your app store page, and most importantly making the application better for your users.

Could Blogging Be Your Thing?

Have you been considering starting your blog, but you were a bit afraid thinking, you aren’t tech-savvy, you don’t have outstanding writing skills, or perhaps have no idea what to write about or how to start. In our changing world, not only do more and more people have to work from home, but we also have to be quite independent with a go-getter mentality if we want to succeed in this new era. So, if you have a feeling you could be blogging, this article could help.

Your Passion Matters More than Your Expertise

Chances are, you haven’t started writing your blog articles yet because you feel you don’t quite have enough expertise in a certain area you want to write about. Should you be worried about this? Not at all! Your readers are more curious about your personal experience than having a very advanced level of degree and related career experience in the topic of your choice. Be rest assured, you don’t need a Master’s or Ph.D. degree to write about something you feel passionate about!

If you are passionate about a certain area, be it technology, cooking, fashion, or wellbeing, you must have gained enough information to write something interesting, based on your private experience! This matters a lot more to your readers than a scientific approach. Blog readers are not those types of readers who seek expertise. So, if you think about the topics and areas of your interest where you also have useful experience to share, this shouldn’t be a problem!

Of course, you should be up-to-date with your information, so educating yourself continually in your niche can only add to the quality of your content, and make your blog more informative. Similar to our everyday lives, if you want to stay on the top of your game, or just know what’s going on in the world, you strive to inform yourself regularly on what’s happening in the world. And like with everything, practice makes perfect. The more you write, the better you become.

Which can raise the next question.

Should You Have Outstanding Writing Skills?

More importantly, you should enjoy writing, especially for long hours. If this is not your thing, you should not start. But if you like writing about various things, and you have a bit of experience, it could be a great basis to start your personal blog. We all have to start somewhere, and none of us was born already writing, right? If you have faith you can do it, it should not be rocket science. It takes good grammar and being able to share a story that could be interesting for others.

If you have appropriate experience doing plenty of correspondence, you should not be worried. It is false to think that most bloggers have had great previous writing experience. All you need to do is muster up your courage, think about your greatest strengths and experiences, and have faith in yourself! Then ready, steady, and go!! You should also take it easy, since you can use an informal and conversational tone, like the one you would use writing to a friend.

Share Your Knowledge With the World

Blogging is a great way to do so!! If you feel you have enough useful information to share with others, who could also benefit from the things you learned and experienced, it is a win-win scenario. Maybe this is your greatest chance to be heard. Some bloggers write frequently about what’s happening to them, sharing their everyday life stories. Writing blogs can also earn you a decent income if you become great at it. It is worth trying!

Some bloggers can even capitalize on their blogs in the long run. This is a great form of income, what’s more, could be an attractive source of a passive income! The top bloggers who also know the technical bits of affiliate marketing and other ways to make their blogs more profitable have invested quite a bit of time, effort, as well as self-learning to become one of the bests! The choice is yours to spend time writing blogs only a few hours too many each week.

It doesn’t only improve your writing skills and clarifies your ways of thinking, but can also polish your strategic skills. It could also lead you to become very good at your chosen field! So much so, that some bloggers became true experts in their fields, receiving a book or film offer!! If you choose to make it interactive, you could gain a larger following. When you write something and people comment on it, you can connect with them and share what you know more easily.

What Should You Name Your Blog

After selecting your preferred field of topics, you could give your blog a suitable name. Don’t have any idea of what a good name should be? Try to brainstorm your ideas and jot them down on paper. A few hints: Write about your everyday life. The things that matter to you and make your life unique. Everyone has valuable thoughts, what are you passionate about? If you think of ways to combine your daily life with areas of your experience, you could create interesting articles.

For instance, if you enjoy traveling and have gained many interesting stories on your trips, together with invaluable information, if you share them with others, they could greatly benefit from those. Always think about what valuable snippet of knowledge could you add from your perspective which provides a bit of a different angle from your side. Perhaps this is your unique gift of seeing things differently. People love new perspectives, feel free to share yours!!

What are you passionate about?

Have you been considering writing about your hobbies??

No matter what your interest is, remember, you are writing for a wide range of audiences. Some people will be surely interested in what you have to say. How about odd topics? Well, as long as you engagingly write them, there’s a high probability you will have some following. The more passionate you are about your topics, the more it will shine through your content!

When you know the main field of your topics, and have an idea of your blog name, it will also be your website domain name. Make sure that it matches your content well! You should aim to signal your content through your domain name so that your audience can find you effectively. If you have travel content, for example, your domain name doesn’t have to include travel, you can just use the words trip, journey, etc. When you write about something more personal, like the thoughts you want to share with others, you could just use your name as your domain.

This post contains affiliate links (I don’t recommend anything that I don’t believe in), meaning at no extra cost to you, I might receive a small commission for purchases made through these links.

Initial Steps to Get Your Blog Going

To start running your blog after you have your domain name, you will need blog hosting and blogging software. These usually come in a package. The company which stores your blog data and delivers them to your users when they search for your content is the blog host provider. Additionally, you will need blogging software like WordPress to be able to build your blog. It is simple to use, you can tailor it according to your needs and it’s also used the most frequently.

You could use Hostinger.com as your software for instance. Log in with your chosen domain name and password. You can reset your password in case of need. After you log in you will see the Hostinger Portal from where you can click the blue WordPress button to be taken to your WordPress blog. You can modify your blog content here. WordPress is quite user-friendly and enables you to make easy changes in your design or layout with a few clicks.

WordPress also offers you thousands of themes to choose from, so if you don’t like what you originally choose and installed, you can easily replace them with a new one. To do so, you need to click on the Appearance button, then on Add New Theme. If you wish to change your design on any occasion, you only need to activate a fresh WordPress theme. If you click on the Popular tab and find something you like, you can click Install, and Active to make it appear on your blog.

Your First Post And Your Content

When your blog is working, you are ready to create your first blog post! To activate your first content you need to click on Posts from the menu on the left. You can delete the default post which is already there but you will not need it, by clicking Trash. Then, press Add New to writing your new post. Follow the instructions and type the title of your post on the top, then you can start writing your post beneath it.

If you click on Add Image then press the Upload button, you can add images to your post. You can also change the size of your picture on the following page. You can upload your picture by clicking on Insert into post. To finalize your post, press the Publish button in the top right corner. You should have static and dynamic types of content on your blog. Static content doesn’t change much or not frequently, your readers should be able to access these pages via your blog menu.

You should design these static content pages before you begin your blog. Try to include the following static pages: About me, your bio with the key points of how you got to your current field, as well as your objective. Contact me, to enable your visitors to reach you in case of need. You should share your private data to the extent you feel you need, including your email address, phone number, and maybe your physical address. Even better, if you link them to your social media sites.

You should also include a Disclaimer Page, if you want to earn money through your blog, you should describe the ways you want to generate profit. According to FTC requirements, this is highly important. Especially if you are discussing and endorsing a product or service. Privacy Policy, if you collect data from your users, you also need to include a privacy policy page through which you can share with your visitors how you do this. You should also add Terms of Service if you sell products or services online, to minimize your liability.

The dynamic content is your actual blog content. This is the essential part of your blog, where you offer useful information to your visitors, such as your unique experience, stories, tips, research, facts, and any knowledge you may have gained. This is your pivotal element to maintain the interest of your readers, and make them return. You should upload content often and frequently, if you skip long weeks or months, you cannot build a following. Ideally, you should post weekly to drive adequate traffic through your content

What Makes Your Blog Content Engaging

You might aren’t in the mood to write amazing content all the time. It is normal. However, you should strive to come up with quality content that could be interesting for others, keep your story engaging, and informative. If you can write on versatile subjects in various tones, it could spice up your brand. Having interesting titles can spark up curiosity and drive followers to your page. Your first paragraph should be a clear outline of your topic and should be appealing enough to read on.

Your visitors could amazingly benefit from a long and informative article you write. If you do so, you should make it transparent, with clear structuring. Chances are, your readers would skim through your content, if they have to read long paragraphs, so you should do your best to break them down! You can ensure better visibility by not only using spaces between paragraphs, but quotes, images, lists, headings, subheadings, and you could sparingly use bolding.

A good strategy could be to ask an engaging question at the end of your posts that your visitors could answer. This could initiate an interactive conversation between you and your readers. If you do so, your page’s engagement could grow much faster. Strive to be unique and genuine, plagiarism is never a good idea! Use your experience to create your content, but feel free to study the techniques and topics of other bloggers in your field!

If you can, use images that you have made, to be as original as possible! Alternatively, you can always find free stock photos on the internet, if you don’t have a chance to take or use your photos. You could get creative and use graphic work, or various software for example Canva to add images to your content. Most importantly, it should come from your passion. Remember to always double-check your content’s grammar and writing style, Grammarly could be a great help!

How to Promote Your Blog

When you create a blog, website, or social media site it is always just the beginning. How well it will work for you, is a question of further efforts you are willing to put in. To achieve your desired following, you need to find promoting ways that best work for you. It could be different for everyone. Be willing to try and test a few of the following tips to get the most out of your blog and brand!

You should start by informing the people closest to you: your family members, friends, the members of your social circles, and colleagues. Talk to them about your blog, send them invitations, and ask them to follow it, and also promote it to others. Express your gratitude to them! You could also link your content to social media platforms, and promote your blog on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, or Pinterest. Try to do so sparingly but effectively!

If you are also active on the blogs of different bloggers and engage with your community by quality comments, you can promote your blog via a link, if they like you. This can benefit your following greatly and can get you prompt recognition in your blogging environment. You must keep your visitors’ interest high by engaging with them when they leave a comment.

It is like the two sides of the same coin, when you engage with your readers, they will feel encouraged to return to your site! If you can also work together with other bloggers in your field by promoting each other’s brands, products, and services, using social media platforms, and referring to each other in the comments sections, you can multiply your and others’ following!

If you want to ensure returning visitors, you can also use email marketing. All you need to do is get your visitors’ email addresses and inform them when you post new content to your blog. Many service providers notify their followers by sending them emails about their new content. Creating such alerts could be a prerequisite to building up a successful following!

Optimize Your Blog by Using SEO

You should also optimize your blog adequately for search engines. Without an effective SEO, (search engine optimization), your visitors won’t be able to find your blog. At least you should use basic processes. You should use header tags for section headings and subheadings. Categorize your content distinctly by using specified and suitable categories. Use Appropriate Permalinks, with the right ending, which shouldn’t be an article number.

How to Capitalize on Your Blog

If you have your products and services to sell, your blog can be a great tool to earn you an income. Ideally, with your growing number of visitors, your blog should become an automated source of income, and visitors could also buy from you when you are taking a break, you are traveling, are on holiday, or spending time with your family members. Among the most used online products are digital materials like e-books, tutorial videos, etc.

Selling your products can not only be made an automated process, but you can also save a lot on the shipping cost and make it work fast! If you have a lot of knowledge in a certain field, and you create your digital materials, you might as well surprise yourself how well they could work! Writing an ebook should not be too hard if you have some kind of expertise in a field. If you offer it at a friendly price, and many of your visitors buy them, you could earn a great passive income!

You could also create memberships on your blog. You could include in your memberships unlimited downloads, free consultation, a private forum with a great community, and specific content available to certain members. Your blog can earn you an income in many ways depending on your aims and targets. Not every blogger who sells products and services is willing to be a part of an affiliate program. Doing so they could lose traffic to different sites.

If it sounds like your thing, you could also consider selling affiliate products through adverts for commission. Your visitors have to click on a link on your page to end up on the advertiser’s site. If they buy something from that site you can earn a commission. Using affiliate links on products and services reviews can help you make money if you disclose that you are an affiliate for the given product or service.

If you have created a successful blog with a great following, chances are, advertisers will seek you out to help them advertise their products and services through your platform. By using Google Adsense, both you and your advertisers can benefit from your popularity. It works in a way that Google detects and finds possible advertisers for you, and you enable adverts to run through your page by adding a Google Adsense code on your blog. It works automatically, and this code can earn you some cash. Wishing you the best of luck!

3 Dos and Don’ts of Direct Mail Marketing

Direct mail has been around for decades, and this multibillion-dollar industry isn’t going anywhere.

In the United States, advertisers are experiencing exponential returns on the investments they’ve made in direct mail marketing.

While electronic communication methods continue to power the working world, direct mail still works—and it’s an essential part of a marketer’s toolkit.

If you go the direct mail route and want it to lead directly into your audience’s hands, it’s important to do things right. In this detailed guide, we’ll offer three dos and don’ts of direct mail marketing.

1. Do: Create a Quality Mailing List

To ensure the success of a direct mail marketing campaign, a business must first define their target audience.

Simply flooding a zip code or geographical area with a mailed offer isn’t a very efficient way to use your company’s resources.

Decide who to reach, and trust data and mailing experts to help you build a targeted list. Consider your customers’ shared characteristics.

If you can accurately profile the company’s buyers, it will be easier to target them. Users can check out infantileindustries.com to learn how to reach the right audience and craft a compelling marketing message.

If your company is in a medium or large metropolitan area, it’s a good idea to test a small market segment before starting the campaign.

Run a few tests using a focused mailing list to measure the campaign’s ROI and effectiveness and adjust the offer, audience, and ad design to find the right combination.

2. Do: Come Up With a Great Offer

Once you’ve put the work into choosing a targeted audience, it’s time to create an attractive offer.

Your ad campaign must offer readers something valuable, whether that value is real or perceived.

In the end, all companies have a single goal: to find new customers. To succeed, though, these transactions must benefit both sides.

3. Do: Choose the Right Ad Copy and Design

Now that you’ve found your target market and chosen an offer, think about what the campaign might look like.

What kind of design elements and marketing slogans will catch a recipient’s eye long enough for them to read all the way through?

Catchy copy and bold designs grab readers’ attention, deliver the message, and reinforce a company’s brand message.

Potential customers are drawn to effective branding, and you don’t have to be a writer or an artist to create a compelling ad.

With help from an in-house creative team, any seller can craft a well-written and visually appealing direct mail marketing campaign.

These three tips, when kept in mind, will go a long way in ensuring the success of your company’s next direct mailing.

However, it’s equally important to avoid common mistakes such as those listed below.

Bonus Tip: Include a Strong Call to Action

When sending out direct mailers, it’s best to include a specific call to action. Tell customers how you’d like them to proceed.

Do you want them to stop by, call to win, or enter now?

Don’t send out mailers with vague goals. Instead, try inviting recipients to your next sale. Encourage them to follow the company on its social media pages and consider including a discount code for use on their next purchase.

There are numerous possibilities, but it’s crucial not to keep the audience guessing what their next steps should be.

Having a specific and singular goal is how companies see measurable results from their direct mailing efforts.

1. Don’t: Leave Mistakes Behind

Before sending out a direct mailer, proofread it carefully—and then proofread it once more. Afterward, have someone else look it over.

Nothing gets mailers thrown away faster than formatting issues and glaring typos.

With various online resources, sellers can check for punctuation mistakes and grammatical errors while ensuring their ad copy flows well and makes sense.

2. Don’t: Pass Up the Chance for a Good Follow-Up

After all the work you’ve done to implement a direct mail marketing strategy, don’t forget to monitor new leads and follow up with them. It’s easy to track new customers with physical coupons, promotional codes, landing pages, sales number comparisons, and signups.

After you’ve gathered information on the target audience, how will you nurture those leads and create a community of loyal customers?

Building brand affinity can be as easy as sending a thank-you note, offering a newsletter subscription, or making a personal call. No matter how it’s done, building a relationship with customers is always a worthwhile effort.

3. Don’t: Forget About Online Traffic

All marketing efforts, whether they’re in print or online, should work together. Use your company’s print ad strategies to reinforce its digital efforts.

A business’ online footprint is its main line of defense. If your social media accounts and website aren’t quite up to par, a digital marketing team can help get things running smoothly and ranking higher.

Bonus Tip: Don’t Overload Readers With Information

Among the mistakes that companies make in their direct mail marketing campaigns, including too much information is one of the most common.

The experts typically suggest including no more than one headline, a few lines of text, and two images. If the message can be condensed into a set of bullet points, that’s even better.

Keep in mind that direct mail marketing is about sending actionable and easily digestible content to potential customers.

Put essential information at the top of the ad, and be sure to include some negative space in the design. It’s not a product description or a blog post, so it’s best to keep things simple.

Overly complex and wordy mailers typically aren’t read, and that means you’ve wasted time and money.

Build a More Effective Direct Mail Marketing Campaign

The world is going paperless, and many of today’s companies don’t see any value in direct mail advertising.

The idea of devoting part of a company’s marketing budget to print media may seem counterintuitive, especially to those who look everything up online.

However, the numbers speak for themselves, and direct mail ads are still the best dollar-for-dollar value.

While the consumer and business worlds are moving toward electronic communications, brands can still get their messages across in powerful ways with direct mail marketing.
