The Ultimate Guide to Website Design That Engages Your Ideal Customer

Could your visitors determine what your business will do within five seconds of visiting your site? Can users access the blog more easily when needed? Is your pricing strategy is easy to understand? Is your site receiving enough traffic?

If you find that you cannot answer these questions, it may be time to take a look at how to design and improve your website.

A website is best if you have a website design that matches your website’s experience, performance, and content.

It can be effortless to ignore these things, given that these updates are the least worrying about totem posting priorities on your web. Still, a successful website is all about high performance and unique usage that requires balance.

The last thing you want is to take the time to write the best stuff for your blog or service pages, for instance, WooCommerce thank you page so that they don’t get noticed due to design flaws, usability issues, confusing issues, or unavailable opportunities.

However, there is a lot of web experience under it, and it can be hard to understand everything; figuring out the most important things to deal with is such a task. Let’s begin with a precise explanation of web design.

Website Design

A good website needs to do its job, spreading that special message while the visitor is together at the same time. Many factors contribute to website design, such as durability, color, texture, graphics, simplicity, and functionality.

When designing a website, many essential things will help identify. A well-organized website can help build trust and encourage visitors to take action. To create a good user experience, you need to ensure your website design is optimal for use (look and feel) and ease of use (features).

The Ultimate Guide to Website Design

Your web design should align with your target audience in mind and provide a fantastic user experience.

It is crucial that you set up your website correctly, as it is one of the most important aspects of your online brand. Your website is also a place to improve your marketing strategy by increasing conversational marketing. This way, you can’t pay for any website that can’t drive your potential customers away from your site.

Your audience should be your priority, and your website should provide the best UX guaranteed. Good website design offers many other benefits to your business and your audience.

Here is the ultimate website design guide that engages your ideal client.

1. Strategy & Planning

Whether you have a well-defined marketing plan or not, creating or redesigning a website requires a different foundation. The first part of planning should include a thorough study of your goals and all the elements needed to achieve them.

If you plan well, you will be more successful in the process later. You know how and when to integrate each element to achieve the end goal.

Conversely, you can create an inefficient website with untapped, unrealized potential and lost ROI if you underestimate strategy and planning.

There are three main steps in the planning phase to ensure that you are ready to succeed in the rest of the design process. Let’s take a look.

Web Plan

A plan is a written overview of everything your website contains and accomplishes. This should include the critical goals of your company, audience, and competitors.

User Experience (UX)

UX is the amount of customer traffic to your website. Include their responses, thoughts, and feelings as they interact with each page. Website design starts engaging people by defining your audience, needs, and interests. Then you can create a website to reach out and use them.

Prototyping

The content described in the technical data sheets is translated into wireframes. Wireframes are like templates that explain how to place headings, images, and other elementary elements on each page. Once the pages are configured as wires, a navigation template is created to allow you to navigate through the pages and explore the user’s journey from one page to the next.

2. User Interface (UI) Design

The user interface is what the user sees and clicks on in simple terms. Images, layouts, text, colors, and sequences work together to create an experience that the user can interact with.

Hero Images

Undoubtedly, an immersive visual will engage readers and encourage them to explore more. And when that image fills the screen (like the image above), it can work on its own or serve as an excellent backdrop for editing text and other elements.

Large images work well in any frame as long as the website meets the customers’ needs. It is essential to measure impressions and screen size to interact with them on any device or computer.

Use of White Space

White space on a website is another modern web design tactic. Although it may not be white, it means space. Give the items on your page room to breathe.

If the pages are too crowded or cluttered with small images and too many text fields, it will be difficult for readers to focus, and you will lose them out of frustration. Leave this space blank so that the reader can calm down between your ideas.

Minimalist Color

Along with a lot of white space, the idea is that colors don’t have to dominate your site. This does not mean that you should not use beautiful color photos. It would help if you aimed for a maximum of two or three colors represented in text and other graphic elements.

Viewers tend to get distracted and overwhelmed if too many colors appear in the navigation, content, banners, etc. And when choosing colors for these items, it’s always a good idea to stick to your brand’s color palette.

Smooth Navigation

It may not be a prominent design component, but well-defined navigation is essential for modern web design. When your website is reckless in its directed ways, your website is irresponsible, and your business seems to be confused.

But when your navigation is organized and fluid, you lead viewers down a flawless path to learning more about yourself, and they’re more likely to stick around and participate.

Distinctive Fonts

The way you display your text says a lot about you as a company. Fonts have a personality, and the ones you choose for your website should reflect the style and tone of your business.

Typographic decisions are usually made when designing your company’s brand, but if you’re working without these guidelines, be sure to choose fonts that represent who you are as a business. If you work for a fashion or cosmetics company, you have a lot of fun and flirty options, but a B2B business will want to opt for more essential fonts.

3. Web Copy

Good copy is vital in web design because it conveys your message to the user. Professional web copywriting does this with a clear, concise, and consistent brand voice that expresses the personality and tone of the brand.

Easy to understand

When a reader lands on your page, you only have a few seconds to convince them that your page is valuable to them. If they don’t think you provide what they need, they will quickly switch to another resource.

To help them, you want to do your best to capture their attention with interesting and relevant information and show them exactly what they will get by reading your page.

If you pay a little more attention to your page’s structure and navigation options, you can make it easier for them to make that quick assessment and understand the incredible value you intend to provide.

Content Structure

I’m sorry to have to tell you this, but very few people who read your content read every word carefully. Instead, 79% of website visitors scan each new page to see relevant to them.

A well-thought-out content structure or layout can encourage viewers to read further, scroll deeper, understand the meaning of their actions, and find what they’re looking for quickly.

On the other hand, a poor content structure usually frustrates users – 38% admit that if an article is unattractive in its layout, it will stop working. So you have to think a bit about this area.

4. Marketing-Inclusive Site

You can’t just pay your bills with fantastic design elements when you create a website. You want the vitality that a new website makes, but you can’t ignore the fact that all the components need to work together to create leads and business. So how can you ensure that your ideal customer targets and converts your website?

Responsive Design Features

It has some style and function. You may have created the most fantastic website ever known to hit the digital world, but if it doesn’t adapt to multiple viewing formats, you’re confused.

People access websites through all kinds of screens and browsers, so you want to make sure your website responds to all devices. Responsive has a lot to do with the hosting platform and the website’s template.

Search Engine Optimization

Modern web design elements, such as title tags, meta tags, title tags, structured data markup, and other HTML code, can improve your site’s search engine optimization (SEO) and increase your position in web searches. Although these elements are invisible, they are crucial to creating a fully functional website for your business.

SEO is one of those areas that require excellent technical resources to ensure everything is done right on your site and to capture high-quality inbound links that bring in visitors and increase the domain’s authority.

5. Add social proof

If you shop like most people when you’re on Amazon, you may prefer products that contain mainly four to five-star ratings from people who have written about their experience with the product.

By looking at these reviews, we gain confidence in the product that it does what it promises, and we need it, which forces us to buy it.

The same effect applies to your product or service and your website. When users see effective testimonials from real people, research shows that your potential customers are 58% more likely to buy your product.

Final Thoughts: The Ultimate Guide to Website Design That Engages Your Ideal Customer

Yes, a well-designed website will help your marketing succeed. Your business website is the digital building block for your brand. Even if you have a physical store, it’s usually the first time new and potential customers interact with your business.

Your web design software becomes the primary tool you use to conduct your marketing activities. Digital (and often physical) advertising attracts customers to your site. There, they learn what you have to offer, who runs your company, and why they should choose you over any other company.

12 Web Designing Tips to Make Your Website a Lead Generation Beast

A website empowers businesses to reach more audiences online. It helps a business attract potential clients and generate sales. You can use it to showcase your products or the services you offer then build a loyal customer base that will help you meet your sales targets.

Knowing the web designing strategies that will bring the desired results to your business can be helpful. It will make it easy to build a lead magnet that will propel you forward, and ultimately help you reach your conversion goals. This article will discuss the best web designing tips to make your website an absolute lead generation beast.

Let’s get started!

1. Focus on the User Experience

The first way to build a website that generates leads is by focusing on user experience. The aim should be to please the people who browse it, and not yourself. Therefore, get the pages to load fast, utilize white spaces, create simple navigation, among other factors that impact UX.

Meeting and exceeding user experiences can help a business generate more leads. It can make it easier for you to attract referrals and repeat business. These can play a crucial role in ensuring that your business meets its goals. You can also research your audience to know their needs.

2. Ensure Website Responsiveness

Today, a responsive website is a must-have. The number of mobile device users has increased recently. Ensuring that they view your website without any issues can help you increase your website’s conversion rate, and increase your business’s profits.

However, it takes a lot to build a responsive website. You need to optimize content, especially visuals, to achieve it. If you ask a professional from a web design agency they’ll tell you that website responsiveness is a critical design element, thus, you should never overlook it.

3. Add Testimonials to Boost Credibility

It is easier to generate leads when your target audience trusts you. You can use your website to boost credibility and ensure people trust you. Adding testimonials to your website can be a great way to start. This is because people trust a website or business that others recommend.

You can talk to your past customers to give views about their experiences. Create a section on the website where you can display their reviews. Ensure your visitors can find these testimonials without many clicks. Testimonials can help your audience make quick purchase decisions.

4. Add a Compelling Call to Action

A call-to-action lets the reader know what you expect of them. You need to include one at the end of every post on your website or blog. For instance, you could direct them to the page with the product you want them to buy. You could also ask them to submit their emails or purchase an eBook.

Whatever your CTA is, ensure you keep it as short as possible. You also can bold it to ensure people don’t click away from a page without seeing it. That will ensure you get as many people as possible doing what you expect. With a good CTA, you’ll get as many emails as you need to build your list.

Ensuring that your CTA is compelling can also help you generate leads. It is easier to get many visitors to take the step you want them to if the CTA you use sounds convincing. But then, do not make it promotional that it becomes a turn-off to your audience.

5. Work With A Reputable Web Designer

We have already mentioned that a web designer can help you build the desired website. Well, there’s more that they can help you do. For instance, a website designer can start everything from scratch and ensure you reach your website design goals with a professional-looking site.

But then, you need to choose a website designer carefully. Consider one with a good reputation, lots of industry experience, and good values. Ensure you get value for your investment in website design. In the end, you’ll quickly generate leads and turn them into loyal customers.

6. Make It Engaging With Visuals

One way to communicate your marketing messages is to use visuals. Images, videos, etc., are great because they are easier to create than textual content. It is also easy for customers to understand messages and take the expected actions when put in a video or image format.

But then, you need to use visuals correctly to ensure they benefit your business. For instance, they need to be authentic and reflective of your brand image. It is easier to capture your audience’s attention and deliver marketing messages if you use visuals correctly.

Visuals can also be excellent for simplifying complex concepts. Instead of putting them in textual form, you can simplify them in a video. Also, you can present data in infographics, as they are easier to understand than data presented in text form.

In addition, visuals are easily shareable, so your customers can share them with family and friends. This can help bring more visitors to your website.

7. Choose The Best Elements for Your Design

There are various website design elements that you can use on your website. However, not all of them will work, depending on the outcome you want to achieve. Thus, the journey to building your website should start from establishing your desired style.

The style you pick should align with your business objectives. It needs to be reflective of your brand values to attract customers. This means you can customize your website with your colors of choice. Also, pick images, font styles, etc., that represent your brand and attract customers.

8. Keep Your Homepage Minimalistic

Minimalism is essential for a website that wants to attract leads. You should, for instance, ensure that your homepage design takes minimalism into account. The purpose of a website’s homepage is to communicate to the reader. It should tell readers what to expect on other pages.

In short, your website should appeal to emotions. Visitors should find it attractive, with images, keywords, etc., properly used on the homepage. This will make it easy for visitors to scan through and quickly check what a website offers.

The best way to create an attractive homepage is to prioritize important information. You should also space out your content and use high-quality media. Last but not least is a call-to-action for your homepage. It should point to other web pages like the sign-up page.

9. Create Reader-Friendly Website Content

Most website owners also forget readability when designing websites. The easier to read your content is, the more leads you’ll generate. You should use simple and clear vocabulary, sentences and phrases. It will ensure readers get the message quickly and act appropriately.

It would be best to keep contrast in mind when building your website. Contrast impacts both readability and accessibility on a website. Sufficient contrast makes it easy for people to scan or skim-read the website. You can use a contrast checker to ensure you have enough of it.

In addition, pay close attention to the fonts you use on the website. Large letter sizes are better for readability than smaller ones that readers struggle to see. It would help if you also used easy-to-read font styles and limit the number of fonts for textual content.

10. Don’t Be Afraid of White Spaces

This design element can significantly impact your website if used well. Leaving some areas of your website without content adds flavor to your website. It helps improve the website’s readability and makes it easy to break up all its pages.

It is difficult to scan or skim through a website that doesn’t have white spaces. Also, your message could get lost between the texts if they look too blocky. That’s one reason to ensure you have as many white spaces as possible to ensure your website is easy for the reader’s eyes.

But then, ensure you balance the use of text and white spaces. The aim should ensure readers don’t miss the message, especially calls-to-action. Do not overuse them; only use them if they add value to your website and help readers know where sections begin and end.

11. Include Social Share and Follow Buttons

Social proof is vital for every business that has a website. Including it on your website can help build trust and confidence in your audience. But then, many website owners do not know the benefits of social proof. Thus, people cannot find their social media pages unless they research.

You can add social proof by including share and follow buttons on your website. This means your visitors can check you out on social media without searching your pages. This can help you also increase your social media following and unlock new marketing opportunities.

The best position for social media buttons is a website’s contact page. But you can also include them at the bottom of every page for better visibility. You can also attach them at the end of every blog post so that readers share the content with their friends directly from your blog.

12. Create Unique Offerings

You can also increase your website’s lead generation by providing a unique offering. Website visitors love to have a self-selection experience when they visit a website. This is especially when they visit e-commerce websites that sell products.

People find a website friendly when they can find what they need easily. One of the best ways to ensure your website does this is by adding a search function. This will make it effortless for your visitors to search for products from your collection.

Such features directly impact user experiences. They make it easy for people to make purchase decisions which helps businesses increase their sales rate. In the end, it ensures you get the desired value from your website and build your business.

How to Become an Influencer Marketer in 2022 [My Experience – Infographic]

Wanna become an influencer marketer in 2022?

Today I’m gonna talk about influencer marketing, the rise of micro-influencer, how to get brand deals, and how to become an influencer marketer to make money online.

Let’s dive right in.

What Is Influencer Marketing?

Typically, influencer marketing is a type of social media marketing that utilizes endorsements and product mentions from influencers who have a large social media following and viewed as experts in their industry/niche.

Influencer marketing is the use of an existing influencer who has built a strong brand reputation in a particular niche to spread awareness of your brand, endorse your product, or co-create content to increase sales and brand awareness.

In influencer marketing, influencers generate trust with their following, and recommendations from them can be regarded as social proof among potential customers of a brand.

The Rise of the Micro-Influencer

A micro-influencer is someone with around 1k to 100k followers across any social media platform.

Most micro-influencers are often considered industry experts because they mostly deal with a specific niche or area.

Brands want to collaborate with micro-influencers who can increase brand awesomeness to specific niches and market segments.

There is also no secret that the larger the influencer, the lower the engagement.

The sweet spot for maximum engagement is to find an influencer who has between 10k-100k followers.

Besides tracking follower numbers, consider watching the types of followers, their quality, and their level of engagement.

My experience – How I make money as an influencer marketer in 2022

I started Inuidea.com in 2019 and after that, I’m trying to monetize my audience using a lot of monetization methods.

Right now, I use AdSense, affiliate marketing, sponsorship, and influencer marketing to monetize my traffic and influence.

Now, to get brand deals as an influencer marketer, I use Intellifluence, an influencer marketing platform where you can get free products or cash for your reviews!

At Intellifluence, all payments are backed by “The Intellifluence Promise,” which ensures you are securely paid for your work and you get sponsorship from real brands.

I also receive cold emails from brands for brand deals and sponsorship proposals. They want me to collaborate with them to talk about their products and services with my audience.

3 Steps to Becoming a Social Media and Blogger Influencer1. Select Your Niche

If you wanna build a group of a loyal audience, at first you have to define your niche and you should know who you’re trying to reach.

While any business could benefit from engaging with influencers, some niches are particularly suited to developing a strong influencer-customer-sale cycle.

Almost any visual product, such as beauty, fitness, fashion, and travel, is exceptionally effective with influencer marketing.

The influencer who promotes these products provides real-life personal reviews that lend credibility in the eyes of the consumer.

A lot of business services perform well when recommended by thought leaders. People tend to trust influencers who use the services they promote.

2. Create and Post Relevant Content and build a loyal audience

Optimize your blog and social media profiles, create and post relevant content and engage with your audience and build a group of loyal audiences.

Nowadays you have to go omnichannel with your content strategy because omnichannel strategy not only captures your current audience but can also reach a broader range of your audience.

Stay active on your blog, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, TikTok, and as many platforms as you can to receive more brand deals.

You can make videos, blog posts, microcontent, social media graphics, etc.

Just make sure you’re creating a lot of engaging content consistently that provides value to your audience.

3. Let Brands Know You’re Open to Collaborations

Write a good ‘work with me‘ page or design a media kit for your business to let brands and potential clients know you’re available to collaborations and why they should collaborate with you.

Also, stay active on Intellifluence Influencer marketplace and apply for new collaboration opportunities.

You can send cold emails to your potential clients or as you grow your audience, you can expect cold emails from brands and collaborators out there.

Final Thoughts: How to Become an Influencer Marketer in 2022

If you wanna make money as an influencer marketer in 2022, you must have a loyal audience. After that, you can join influencer marketplaces such as Intellifluence, you can write cold emails to potential collaborators or you can wait for emails from brands.

13 Ways of Link Building for Startups in 2022

Where your business ranks determine the amount of traffic your startup gets. A process like ‘link building’ helps businesses to rank highly in search results. This increases website traffic. It allows other niche websites to link to your site and improve brand visibility.

Ranking in the first pages of search results is important for customer engagement. Statistics show that 75% of online users do not look beyond the first page of Google search results.

That is why you need to focus on link-building strategies. These strategies will help you get high-quality backlinks. The quality of links you get helps you rank higher. Here are ten link building strategies for startups.

Importance of Quality Backlinks

Backlinks can signal Google that you provide valuable content in a particular niche. This is unique content that other websites find useful. Search engines rank websites with backlinks well in SERPs, but not all backlinks are good.

Bad backlinks can come from sites that are not trusted or from black hat methods of link building. That is why the Penguin algorithm was launched to stop such bad linking practices.

Focus your backlink building on finding quality links. This will improve your website ranking while adding value to your audience. Here is how you can identify quality links.

Page Authority

When an authoritative page links to your business website, it passes the authority to you. An authoritative web page is a source of useful information. It provides reliable content users can trust. Look for links from high-authority web pages. Avoid web pages with lesser authority. Gaining links from such authoritative blog posts allows Google to rank your business.

Site Authority

Quality links come from authoritative sites. When a  website with an authoritative domain links to your startup, it makes a bigger impact. Getting links from such authoritative sites might not be easy.

Google recognizes links with site authority on your website. This makes your business rank higher in search results.

Site Relevance

Quality links come from sites that are relevant to your website’s niche. This means the theme of your website and the site that is linking to you should be closely related.

Such links are likely to be topically similar and benefit the audience. Site relevance is important because Google uses it to understand your business. This includes understanding your niche, services, and products.

Add relevant links to content. This helps to prevent black hat methods of link building. Google requires that such links appear naturally in your content. It should also add value to readers who visit the site. The following are strategies of link building.

White Hat Strategy

Building backlinks using the white hat method adds value to users. It enhances their experience.

This strategy is an SEO practice that links a webpage to other relevant content on the internet. It helps provide users with quality content while organically improving the webpage ranking.

1. Guest Blogging Method

Guest blogging is one of the well-known ways of building backlinks. It involves offering valuable and unique content. For example, you can write case studies to a different audience in the same niche.

For example, writing blog posts for a high authority domain like NY Times is more impactful. After writing you link back to your website.

Providing useful insights to audiences makes you a thought leader in your industry. It increases your chances of getting more visitors to your site.

When writing, use strategies that will improve the Google ranking of your startup. Link doctor strategies drive business results through organic link building. The quality links improve lead generation, business ranking, and help generate high revenue.

Such ethical white hat strategies produce exceptional business results. The results emphasize quality over quantity.

2. Broken Backlinks Method

Reaching out to websites and reporting broken links is an effective link-building strategy. This method involves finding websites in your niche and checking their resource page.

If the link to the resource page is broken, you can contact the owner, tell them the exact situation, and offer to help. Provide value to the site owner in a helpful and friendly manner. You can offer your guest post as a resource instead of linking to a broken page.

The help you offer is an alternative to the broken links, which include your website’s link.

3. Infographics Link Building Method

infographic

Infographics are easy-to-understand content that people share widely. Such content leads to more backlinks to your website.

Create an infographic with an interesting story. Using the right methods will increase engagement and backlinks. For example, you can start by finding trending topics. You can also collect data before creating an infographic.

Write a story about your infographic. Make sure your content is unique and interesting. It should capture your audience’s attention.

4. Brand Mentions

A business can mention your business without linking to your products or services. This is an opportunity to reach out and ask them to link to your startup.

Look for sites that mention your brand positively to their audience. Their audiences are potential customers in your niche.

These customers can quickly click and buy from your business. This is because they trust the site that mentioned your products. Brand mentions create brand awareness that leads to high sales and revenue.

Follow up any content that mentions your services, slogan, or products. Requests them to link to you.

5. Share Content on Social Platforms

social media

Engage your audience where they hang out. Actively post your content on social media. Share your new posts, updates, or images on different platforms.

This will boost your engagement and extend your brand reach. The links you share will direct visitors to your website. It will also increase your business visibility.

6. Build Backlinks from Projects You Sponsor

Many nonprofit organizations, conferences, or webinars may champion a particular cause. You may want to support this cause. You can also get a backlink to your website when you support a cause you believe in.

Supporting such events means your logo and link will be displayed at the event. It will also be put on the organization’s website. People who visit these websites can click the links and access your business.

This helps create brand awareness. You also get an authoritative backlink that improves your search engine ranking.

7. Interview an Influencer

Share the accomplishments of an influencer or an expert with a large following. This can happen in a podcast interview

Look for influencers in your niche who have accomplished something extraordinary. This will motivate your audience. Featuring influencers can inspire them to share your content. They can also share your links with their huge following.

8. Expert Roundup Link Building Method

Building useful connections with complementary companies and experts can help you get backlinks. These connections can take part in roundups. This is where you ask questions and allow industry leaders to share their opinion on the topic.

Many people will want to click and listen to expert advice. This leads to more content shares and high traffic to your website.

These industry leaders will most likely share your link with many followers. Some of these backlinks come from major websites that boost your page authority.

9. Research Using Link-Building Tools

Reach out to websites for backlink opportunities. Link-building tools like Semrush, Ahref, or Buzzstream can help you find contact information. Connect with prospects using this information.

Such tools provide the information you need to send personalized emails to prospects. This increases your chances of getting good results from your email campaign.

You can also follow up and track backlinks using these tools. This involves monitoring backlinks to ensure they do not disappear. If a link is not working, you can quickly contact the website owner to restore it.

10. Online Directories Link Building

Adding your startup to directories like Yelp, Bing, or Google Places can increase users. This is a way to achieve link building. Online users trust these directories and use them for searching particular business information.

Listing your startup on directories helps customers find important information about companies. These are companies they are interested in. Listing your business also means you are likely to get high-quality traffic on your site.  This can convert to buying customers.

Add your business to directories that match your niche. This will help boost your local SEO and increase your search result ranking.

Grey Hat Strategy

Grey hat is a combination of white and black hat methods of link building. It involves combining accepted link-building strategies and banned strategies. The aim is to improve web page ranking.

For example, someone writes content about social sites.  They pay for them to link to a website and improve ranking. Google does not allow such methods of link building. This is because they do not focus on providing high-value content to users. A common example of gray hat strategy include:

11. Posting Blog Comments

Helpful comments on a blog post in your niche can help you connect with an online community. It can also help you build backlinks. Such backlinks generate traffic to your website, which is good for business.

Make sure your comment adds value to the reader and contributes to the topic of discussion. Posting nonsense and irrelevant comments can be considered spamming and bad for SEO. Google flags such comments and marks them as spam.

Black Hat Strategy

Black hat is a link-building strategy that does not add value to the content users. The main purpose of this method is to improve website ranking. Such practices violate the terms that search engines set for SEO.

12. Content With Unrelated Links

A website with many links unrelated to the page’s content uses a black hat to get backlinks. Google penalizes such activities because they do not serve the end-user.

13. Link Farm

Link farms are websites that do not have any content. Instead, they feature many unrelated links to other sites. They do not provide organic links or add value to online users. There is no long-term value for link farms and when Google discovers link farms they are punished.

Key Takeaway

Link building is one of the best ways to improve traffic and ranking in search engines.  Startups benefit when website traffic increases, leading to business growth.

Developing an effective strategy gives you the best results. This helps in reaching your desired goal. These results come from high-quality links. You need to consider the page authority, site authority, and relevance of a site to rank highly. It requires upfront effort to build quality backlinks, but it pays well in the long term.

Why Conversational Marketing Is Essential For Your Business?

In today’s fast-paced digital landscape. No one likes to wait. More than 82% of consumers look for an immediate response from brands. So, we can say that brands that provide quick, personalized replies are the true winners when it comes to engaging customers and making a great impression.

If you make your potential customers wait for hours just to get the answer they want via email or even put them on hold for one minute on the customer service call, they’ll think that they deserve much better.

Well, they do, indeed. This is why conversational marketing has been gaining a lot of traction.

Conversational marketing is the new way of interacting with your customers. It humanizes your brand and helps you get closer to your audience. If you are looking for a way to make your business more personal and approachable, conversational marketing is perfect for you.

We’ll dive more in-depth into conversational marketing; what exactly it is and why your business should care about it.

What Exactly Is Conversational Marketing?

Simply put, conversational marketing is the art of talking to customers the way you would talk to your friends. It is a one-on-one interaction that helps you connect with potential and current customers on a more personal level.

It’s not just about responding to customer queries or complaints in real-time, but also about engaging them in conversation. This could be done through:

ChatbotsVoice-assisted websitesInstant messagingLive chats

Conversational marketing is also less intrusive as compared to traditional marketing techniques like email or telemarketing. It allows customers to choose when and how they want to be communicated with, which makes it a more preferred communication method for many.

In other words, conversational marketing is all about being there for your potential customers. They can reach out to you when they need you, and you’ll be able to answer their needs in real-time.

One good example of conversational marketing would be Sephora which uses an AI chatbot for its e-commerce website. Shoppers can ask the chatbot any question about products, services, and even store locations. Not to mention that they can even make a quick purchase just by simply chatting with the bot.

How Important Is Conversational Marketing?

As today’s customers demand quick, and more personalized responses from brands they’re interested in. Some of them rely on different types of marketing videos to increase engagement, others provide FAQ pages. But, we can say that conversation is essential for brands that aim to reach and build a better relationship with them.

It is no secret that the best way to connect with potential and current customers is through conversation, and conversational marketing provides that opportunity for brands.

In fact, research shows that:

55% of businesses that use chatbots generate more high-quality leads.  40% of internet users prefer to interact with a bot rather than an agent.1.4 billion people use messaging apps and are willing to talk to bots or other conversational AI.52% of consumers are more likely to make repeat purchases if the company offers support via live chat71% of customers expect companies to communicate with them in real-time.Brand-customer conversations inside Facebook Messenger have a 30% better ROI compared to retargeting ads.

Why Your Business Should Care About Conversational Marketing

Now that we know what conversational marketing is, it’s time to find out why exactly your business should care about it.

Make Your Customers Feel Special

When you answer your customers’ queries in real-time, it makes them feel special. They know that you’re taking the time to listen to them and that their concerns are your priority. This builds customer loyalty and can even encourage them to become brand advocates.

A happy customer is a key for a business’ longevity because they will be more likely to refer others to your business and even give you positive online reviews.

Understand Customers’ Needs

Did you know that it costs six times more to acquire a new customer than it does to retain an existing one? This is why conversational marketing is so important for businesses.

It helps you connect with your customers on a more personal level and helps you understand exactly what they need. Conversational AI like chatbots will save the customers’ queries, so you’ll get a better understanding of your customers’ needs. This way, you can provide them with the best possible service/product experience.

Shorten Buying Cycle

Conversational marketing can also help shorten the buying cycle. You’re not just throwing products at them and hoping that one of them will stick. You’re actually helping them find the right product for their needs.

By engaging potential customers in conversation, you’re providing them with information that they need to make a purchase decision.

For instance, when a potential customer wants to explore more about your brand, you can provide product demo videos using a chatbot. Once they have an understanding of your brand or product you offer,  they can effortlessly give their data to the chatbot and let it process it. That’s how you convert leads into customers.

In other words, it simplifies your buying cycle without having to shove anything into your potential customers’ faces.

Conversational AI is also quick and easy to use, so it only takes a few clicks and typing to purchase your product or service. That’s how you encourage them to buy quickly before they change their mind.

Gain a Competitive Edge

A conversational marketing strategy is a great way of gaining a competitive edge against your competitors in the market today. After all, customers’ buying behaviors have evolved, and they’re more likely to choose brands that provide them with a personalized experience when purchasing from the brand in question.

When your competitors won’t be able to provide them with the same level of support as you do, they’ll find a reason why they should choose you.

Humanize Your Brands

Humanizing a brand is crucial in today’s age. Customers want to feel like they’re dealing with a real person, not just a faceless corporation. Those template-like emails and cold calls are no longer an effective solution. Conversational marketing helps you do that by giving your customers an opportunity to communicate with you on a more personal level.

Conversational marketing allows you to create a more meaningful relationship with your customers. Even though chatbots are technically a robot, you can set them up in a way that makes them seem more human.

Conversational AI has evolved drastically and sometimes your customers don’t even pay attention to the fact that they are asking a robot for help. You can also program them to respond in a way that is personal and engaging.

Improve Customer Service

Gone are the days when customers had to wait on the phone for hours just to speak to your customer service team. Conversational marketing is a great way to improve your customer service.

Good customer service is essential for any business. It’s what separates the good businesses from the great ones. Having 24/7 customer service and being able to give a relevant, more personal response is crucial in customer service. And conversational marketing can help you with that.

Reduce Customer Service Cost

It’s impossible for your customer service representative to be available 24/7. You might consider hiring more people for the team, but it won’t be cost-effective.

Conversational AI can help your business save money on customer service because you’re not paying for someone to sit there all day just waiting and answering customers’ queries. For instance, a report shows that chatbots can cut operational costs by up to 30%.

You’ll also reduce the time it takes to respond to them, so they will only need one or two straightforward replies instead of a lengthy conversation with one of your representatives.

Improve the Customer Service Team Productivity

Your customer service team can sit on their desk all day just to reply to the same, mundane questions over and over again. All of this can be handled by the chatbot without having to take up the time of a human agent.

Chatbots are a great way to automate your customer service process. You can program them to answer the most common questions that customers ask.

So, not only does conversational marketing improve the customer experience, but it also frees up your customer service team’s time, so they can focus on more complex tasks to generate more revenue.

Asks for Feedbacks

You can also use conversational marketing to offer your customers an opportunity to give their opinions and feedback about the brand in question, as well as provide you with valuable insights that will help improve your business.

It will help you improve on the areas that need improvement and make sure that you’re giving your customers exactly what they want. Remember that 62% of customers expect brands to constantly adapt based on their actions and behaviors.

That’s a powerful way to better serve your customers’ needs and ultimately improve customer satisfaction. As a result, it would be much easier for you to stay relevant and understand customers’ ever-changing preferences and needs.

Build Rapport with Customers

You can also utilize conversational AI to build rapport with your customers. You can create a more personal relationship by getting to know them and what they like, their interests, etc.

It’s always better for you to have a friendly rapport with your customers instead of an impersonal relationship that doesn’t go anywhere or offer anything valuable in return.

When your business is likable and approachable, your customers will recommend it to their peers. And that’s also how you can drive more traffic to your website.

Increase Trustworthiness of the Brand

Conversational marketing can also help increase the trustworthiness of your brand. When customers feel like they’re being heard and that their opinions matter, it builds trust between them and the company.

If you can successfully show that you care about what your customers think and that you’re always willing to listen, then it would be much easier for them to believe in your brand and continue to be loyal customers.

Wrapping Up

Conversational marketing isn’t a new form of marketing, but it has evolved and become one of the most powerful tools for businesses that are looking to grow their customer base.

By providing 24/7, instant, accessible service, it makes sense why many marketers believe that is the future of customer service. That’s why it’s important for your business to start implementing this type of marketing now– if they haven’t already done so. It will help you stay competitive in today’s market and improve your overall relationship with your customers.

How to Start a Podcast for Free in 2022 (Complete Guide)

Do you want to start a podcast for free in 2022?

The demand for the podcast is increasing, and now you have a great opportunity to start your own podcast, build a rich audience, and make money podcasting.

People start a podcast to share their knowledge, to make money, to influence people, and to market their business.

The best part is,

Now it’s possible to start a podcast for free.

In this step-by-step guide, I’m going to show you the best and the easiest way to start a podcast for free in 2022.

Let’s dive right in.

What is a podcast?

A podcast is a series of downloadable and streamable recorded audio content.

Isn’t it the simplest definition of the podcast?

Can you really start a podcast for free?

Obviously, you can start a podcast for free. If you have a smartphone, laptop, and internet connection, you can start now!

This post contains affiliate links (I don’t recommend anything that I don’t believe in), meaning at no extra cost to you, I might receive a small commission for purchases made through these links.

What you need to start a podcast?

The only thing you really need to start a podcast is something to talk about. And we already talked about the equipment required to start a podcast.

You can start a podcast for free. But if you want to spend some money, then invest your money on a good microphone.

Because when it comes to podcast, it’s all about audio. So, don’t compromise with the audio quality of your podcast.

One of the most popular podcasting microphones is the Audio-Technica ATR2100-USB.

Otherwise, you can use your earphones. They are good enough to start a podcast for free!

Starting a podcast: define your niche.

So, what’s the topic you want to talk about?

Do you want to start a business podcast or an entertainment podcast?

Are you going to start a solo podcast or an interview podcast?

It’s up to you.

I suggest you talk about the topic which you are passionate about and which you have some knowledge about.

Choose a name for your podcast.

The ‘Your Name’ Show is the most common podcast naming style. But you can add your brand name or some keyword to optimize your podcast to rank on iTunes.

Look at Tim Ferriss podcast name:

The Tim Ferriss Show

Tim Ferris Show - iTunes

Look at Pat Flynn’s Podcast name:

The Smart Passive Income Online Business and Blogging Podcast

The Smart Passive Income Online Business and Blogging Podcast - iTunes

Pat Flynn optimized his podcast using keywords like Online Business and Blogging Podcast.’

Write an amazing description of your podcast.

After your podcast name and cover art, the next thing potential listeners look at is your podcast description.

In iTunes, you can have up to 4,000 characters to describe your show. Your podcast description should be engaging, descriptive, and straightforward.

You should write about the benefits your listener will get after listening to your podcast. Also, don’t forget to add some keywords to SEO optimize your podcast and to rank well on iTunes.

Design your podcast cover art.

Your podcast cover art is the first impression your potential listener will see as they browse through their favorite podcast streaming app.

So, it’s obvious that you need a beautiful podcast cover art to impress and grab your potential listener.

Here are some tips for creating the best podcast cover art.

Your podcast cover art must be 3000 x  3000 pixel (Minimum size is 1400 x 1400 pixels) This image should be in .jpg or .png file format and the RGB colorspace.Use high-quality images. Get royalty-free images from these amazing photo downloading sites for free.Don’t use so much text. Some podcast player automatically shrinks the podcast cover art to fit smaller containers. So it will be nearly impossible to read more than three or four words.

You can easily create an awesome podcast cover art using Canva or Snappa for free.

If you have a little bit of a budget, I recommend Fiverr (Or you can contact me, I’m a designer too:) to create your podcast cover art. Also, if you have more money, you can check out 99design to create a professional podcast cover art.

Record your first podcast episode.

If you are a solo podcaster, you can start recording your first podcast episode on Audacity, or you can directly record your podcast on apps such as Anchor and Spreaker, both available on iPhone and Android.

On the other hand, if you want to record remote interviews, you can use Skype, but Skype audio quality isn’t good enough, and you need a call recorder to record Skype calls.

If you need to record you and your guests on separate tracks, then Zencastr is the right tool to go. Zencastr free plan allows you to record up to 8 hours per month (Which is enough) for up to 2 guests in MP3 format.

I recently knew about Spreaker Studio and it seems to be a great option as well to record, host, and distribute your podcast.

Spreaker Studio – available for smartphones (iOS and Android) and desktop (Mac, Windows, Chromebook), this free podcast creator app is a quick-and-easy tool to record, add sound effects, and crop & trim your audio. It also publishes and distributes your podcast to all the listening platforms out there.

If you want to record remote interviews that don’t need complex editing, you can try Spreaker Studio desktop. It easily integrates with Skype and Google Meet. Once you’ve recorded, export the audio file directly to your computer.

Edit your first podcast episode.

Audacity is a great free audio recording and editing software. After recording your first podcast episode you can remove background noise from your audio, you can add intro and outro, and lots of other things you can do in Audacity to increase the audio quality of your podcast.

To export an mp3 file from Audacity, you’ll need to download and install the Lame MP3 encoder for Windows or Mac.

If you recorded your podcast on Anchor and didn’t want to edit your podcast there, you can easily export and download your recorded audio file from the web version of Anchor to edit it in Audacity.

Want to add some royalty-free music to your podcast episode?

Free Music Archive and Musopen are two great websites where you can get royalty-free music for free.

How to distribute a podcast for free?

Once you are ready to publish your podcast, you’ll need to upload it to a podcast hosting service and make it available for your listeners.

I’ve already mentioned Anchor (acquired by Spotify in 2019) is a good solution for hosting and distributing your podcast for free.

Anchor will help you distribute your podcast to the following platforms:

Apple PodcastsiTunesGoogle PodcastsSpotifyStitcherBreakerCastboxOvercastPocket CastsRadioPublic

If you want to publish your podcast on additional platforms not included in this list (This list is enough man!), you can just grab your RSS feed URL from your Anchor account settings and distribute it yourself!

If you are a hobbyist with no big ambitions towards your podcast, there is no harm in sticking with a free solution. However, if you consider starting for free and switching to a paying subscription after some time, in order to make your podcast more professional and easy to manage, then Spreaker is the best choice.

On Spreaker, with just one click, you can distribute your podcast to all the main listening apps.

Podcast Distribution-gif

Spreaker is another great hosting solution if you consider starting for free and switching to a paying subscription after some time.

I recommend Spreaker because more than a hosting, it is a one-stop-shop where you can get the recording app, hosting, one-click distribution, advanced statistics, and monetization.

One of Spreaker’s main advantages in comparison with Anchor is that you can have multiple podcasts under one account and fully monetize your podcast. Here are some of their main features:

Multiple podcasts hostingOne-click distributionMonetization via dynamic ad insertion Full statistics Embedded player Limited access podcasts (to boost your membership program!) Live podcastingCustomizable RSS Feeds

Spreaker’s free plan includes 5 hours of audio storage, so depending on your episode’s length and frequency, that can get you going for a couple of months. Their paid plans start at U$6/mo.

Spreaker has a free plan but if you want to experiment with their more professional tools, you can try one month for free on the plan of your choice using this link. At checkout, you’ll see the code ‘inuetc‘ is applied.! It gives a 90% discount for 1 month on any plan.

How to make money podcasting?

There are many ways to monetize a podcast and make passive and active income podcasting. Yasss! Podcasts can make passive income too!

Some podcast monetization methods work for established podcasters, and some work well for a new podcaster.

Here are some ways to monetize your podcast:

Sponsorship and Advertising – Many podcast hosting companies have their own ad network. Now Anchor’s monetization service is only available for US Podcaster. But if you have a big audience, you can directly get sponsored by companies.Affiliate Marketing – If you have a small targeted audience, you can make money through affiliate marketing.Online Courses – You can sell online courses on Teachable, Udemy, etc.Sell Services – If you are an expert, you can promote and sell your services too. For example, Neil Patel uses his podcast ‘Marketing School’ to promote his digital marketing service.Crowdfunding and Donations – Ask your listeners for donations to support you and your podcast. A common platform for accepting donations is Patreon, Podfan, and Buy Me a CoffeeDynamic ad insertion: Spreaker’s monetization program works worldwide, as long as there’s ad inventory available in the country where the listeners are based. All you have to do is add the specific cue points where you want the audio ad to be placed. You will earn money according to the CPM (cost per thousand impressions). Exclusive content: Share exclusive content with a private link to your paying listeners. This is a cool way to boost any membership program. Unfortunately, this modality requires a paying tool. At the moment, Spreaker users on the Broadcaster plan have the ability to create episodes or entire podcasts that are not public on the listening apps. Fortunately, we have Podfan, and this is exactly what Podfan does for free!Podfan helps creators monetize their podcasts via donations and premium subscriptions. You can create your podcast page for free and start receiving payments from your supporters. Podfan charges you only when you have any paying members.Podfan - monetize their podcasts via donations and premium subscriptions
You can design your podcast page, fill out your bio, and share new premium episodes easily. On top of that, your listeners can share feedback on each podcast episode and interact with you.
