Work smart, earn passively, and do what you love
The motto of my life is: Work smart, earn passively, and do what you love. To me, ‘do what you love’ means traveling, writing, and spending time with loved ones.
Believe me, everyone thinks I work a lot, even I think I work a lot but actually the work I need to do to make money is almost nothing compared to the other work I do. Still, I earn!
I will focus more on the right work that generates money and makes me happy. It’s always been my goal to automate my work so that I can travel more and focus on other ideas.
This article is actually the plan I’m following to get closer to my life’s motto. This article will help you a lot if you want the same things in your life.
I would like to mention one thing,
Even though I’m talking about passive income, there is no such thing as passive income. There is no such thing as ‘easy money’
In order to earn regularly, you must do some work, you must invest some money and time, but you can reduce your work by delegating and outsourcing your tasks.
For me, passive income means earning money with minimal effort and working when I want to work.
The ability to work smart, earn passively, and do whatever you want requires a combination of skills, strategies, and mindset. In order to achieve this goal, you can follow these tips:
1. Identify your passion and skillsWorking smart starts with identifying what you’re good at and what you enjoy, as your ultimate goal is to do what you love. You will be able to focus your efforts and work more efficiently if you do this.
2. Automate your incomeRead more: How to Find Your Passion and Pursue a Career You Love
One way to earn passive income is to automate your income streams.
There are many ways to generate passive income on the internet, but I recommend setting up an online business that generates income on autopilot or with minimal effort. (A quick reminder: the first few months require a lot of hard work.)
If you have an idea for an online business, you can work on it. You can start a lifestyle business (Read the 7th section to learn more about lifestyle business). You can be a content creator on social media. You can write on Medium (I feel sorry for Indian writers, though). You can also create digital products, such as e-books, courses, or software, and sell them online.
These are just some ideas; I do not recommend working on them without finding your own interest and skills.
You don’t need to start a website just because Inu Etc has one, start one if you believe you need one. If you don’t enjoy writing, don’t start writing on Medium.
To be successful, it is not necessary to copy* someone exactly; instead, be yourself, use your own skills, build your own empire, and live like a king.
*You can steal like an artist. LOL.
3. Automate your workDelegating certain tasks to others can help you focus on the most important ones and free up your time.
It’s not just people who can help you with your tasks; AI tools, SaaS, and other software can help you manage your tasks, reduce your work time, and make you more productive.
Use tools such as automation software, chatbots, or email autoresponders to streamline your work and increase efficiency.
I use various AI tools as an assistant a lot these days to generate ideas and drafts, and so far it has been very productive and a great way to reduce procrastination.
So, if you want ultimate freedom in life, you should automate and delegate your work with both software and humans.
4. Delegate and outsource tasksDelegate what you can afford to delegate. Outsource the tasks you can’t delegate.
Outsourcing tasks that are time-consuming or outside your area of expertise can also help you work smarter. You can hire a virtual assistant or freelancer to handle tasks such as bookkeeping, content creation, or social media management.
There are hundreds of freelancers on Fiverr you can hire to outsource almost anything you need to be done.
You can outsource a variety of tasks depending on your business. Soon, I will outsource my cold outreach, video editing, and social media management tasks.
5. Learn time managementIt is essential to manage your time well if you want to work smart and achieve more.
Learn to prioritize your tasks, eliminate distractions, and use tools such as calendars and to-do lists to stay organized. You are more likely to accomplish big tasks if you break them down into smaller, more manageable steps.

By managing your time properly, you can avoid procrastination, reduce stress, and achieve your goals.
I created a WhatsApp group called To Do List where I am the only member, where I save and send important voice notes.
My main reason for using WhatsApp is because I visit the app often and every time I open WhatsApp, I notice that pinned group and I always remember my tasks.
6. Prioritize self-careWorking smart and achieving big goals requires more than just hard work and dedication.
It also requires taking care of yourself and maintaining a healthy mind and body. Many people tend to neglect their physical and mental health when striving to achieve success, but this can actually hinder their progress in the long run.
Taking care of your mental health is crucial. Stress can negatively impact your work performance, making it difficult to focus, make decisions, and achieve your goals.
Make sure you get enough sleep, exercise regularly, and take breaks to avoid burnout.
7. Develop a growth mindset and do what you loveA growth mindset is the belief that you can learn and grow over time. This mindset can help you approach challenges with a positive attitude and seek out opportunities for growth and learning.
Create your own strategy, blend your skills, and take action. Take the time to educate yourself, develop a growth mindset, and be patient.
You can build your own personal brand and start a lifestyle business to support your desired lifestyle.
Lifestyle businesses can generate enough profits for entrepreneurs to live and work from anywhere, earning an income on their own terms. It’s a business that allows you to work on your own terms and gives you the freedom to do what you want.
Lifestyle businesses are generally internet-based, selling digital goods or software, providing virtual services, or operating an e-commerce business remotely.
The internet is a powerful tool. You can earn money online doing almost anything.
So why not do what you love and earn money from it?
Take a step forward today or consider transitioning slowly into what you love if you’re doing something else.
Remember,
It takes effort, persistence, and creativity to work smart, earn passively, and do whatever you want. By taking these steps, you can create a lifestyle that allows you to achieve your goals and enjoy life on your terms.
Keep hustling!

How to Build a Career as an SEO Freelancer in 2023
Every newbie and student must be aware of this. SEO, copywriting, and digital marketing are some of the most sought-after skills.
As per LinkedIn’s 2020 Workplace Learning Report: analytics reasoning, affiliate marketing, and video production were among the top 10 most in-demand hard skills. And SEO – well, it remained one of the top professional skills employers sought after.
Undoubtedly, SEO is one of the hottest, most alluring, and trending industries, and it´s a true opportunity for the creative guy and research buddy who adores continuously increasing his knowledge and keeping himself updated. Some SEO consultants like mine didn’t plan to commit their careers to SEO but started completely by accident.
So today, I’m going to share with you some tips and strategies that will support an awesome SEO career and add lots of value to growing your SEO career in the industry.
We get to a remarkable discovery that had significant impacts and influences on many gurus who started their SEO freelancer or consulting business. You´ve probably heard about it or read about it many times before – it is the notion of consistency.
Every business is adapting to a digital transformation, and their owners want to strengthen their SEO, social media marketing, and branding efforts. Indeed, they want a digital marketing freelancer or consultant to drive the campaign in the right direction.
As a freelance SEO, you simply need to show the right approach and skills on how to market your clients’ businesses.
Every profession demands the fullest commitment, passion, and heart to get success.
Right?
What’s more exciting about SEO is that it never gets boring, and there are always new things to test and more to discover.
At times, it can be a slow success in some client cases, taking months, if not years, to fluctuate (upwards) the traffic and rankings. Without passion and consistency, the freelancing journey can’t be that fun and game you thought it was.
Don’t be a freelancer who commits a misstep – neglects this critical aspect and starts to lose that passion pretty soon.
Skills are important, but passion will make you stand in front of competitors.

When pursuing a career in SEO, you need to keep in mind that there are different career options for you to choose from.
While you’re thinking of building a career in SEO, do you want to act like a freelancer? Do you want to join an SEO agency for industry experience? What’s your mindset?
Working as a freelancer simply means you’re deciding to work for yourself from the luxury and comfort of your home. You’ve a complete choice of how you want to shape your career and what kind of clients you would want to work for.Another option is to work at an SEO agency and gain live SEO experience under the guidance of an SEO project manager. You’ll likely be assisting your project manager in building and managing SEO projects, link building, analytics reporting, and various other tasks for their numerous clients. The last option is – you can join in-house for an organization in the industry you are passionate about.Gain Enough Knowledge and Live ExperienceTo refine your SEO knowledge and expertise, read wide.
If you are really interested to build your specialties in technical SEO, look for blog posts, white papers, and research about website UI/UX, architecture, navigation, measuring website speed, SEO checklist, and everything else related to that, including structured data mark-up.
MOZ, HubSpot, SEO by the Sea, and Search Engine Land are all great resources to learn all things SEO.
Luckily, there are tons of materials available everywhere on the net, and there are places you can take free training.
Google Search Central Blog is the place where you can read official Google core algorithm updates, upcoming news about the latest Google search features, and the best recommendations for SEO.Search Engine Journal covers a wide range of news, insights, and guides for the SEOs and search marketers related to SEO, PPC, content marketing, and social media marketing.Backlinko – Brian Dean is the guy, and Backlinko is the blog to look for next-level SEO training and link-building strategies for beginners, marketers, and business owners.Yoast SEO Blog – Yoast SEO experts share the useful and actionable insights you need to know about WordPress and technical SEO.The SEMrush blog covers a bunch of topics related to keyword analysis, On-Page SEO, content marketing, and content audit. What you should avoid doing is becoming a textbook case. Don’t just read. Practice what you read and learn from your mistakes or success.
Apart from Technical SEO, learn:
HTML and CSSCopywriting and blogging skillsDesign skills (at least, you should be PRO with design applications like Canva or Visme)Hands-on knowledge of Search AlgorithmsMust be PRO with using SEO tools like Ahrefs, SEMRush, and Majestic SEO.Data analysisGoogle penalties and recoveryKeyword researchAdvanced methods of link building, andReporting segment.Generally speaking, there are two ways to acquire knowledge:
The first one is by paying how to learn it, by investing time and money in courses, training, programs, book, and systems. The second one is to learn everything by yourself through research, but I doubt that you´ll be able to figure out everything by yourself. The latter option will cost you multiple times more time than the former one, more nerves, and more headaches, and I don´t think you´ll be able to learn everything through free content on the web.
Be Goal FocusedAlways have a plan for performing SEO, and do not fall into the rut of having a common strategy for everything. You will need to plan according to what works best for a particular website. At the same time, do not divulge all your secrets to your potential employers, even if they really end up hiring you. Some tricks should not be let out into the open if you want to keep your significance.
While many business owners and brands would be willing to hire you to handle their SEO, many are still lacking knowledge of how SEO and search engines work. They don’t know about the priorities, and they just want results. Being able to prove ROI to companies or your clients is essential to an ongoing business relationship.
Therefore, your SEO strategy should cover visibility, traffic, and ROI as the essential goals of the campaign.
Include critical SEO KPIs into your SEO reports and help your manager/Client understand their impact on the overall growth and success of marketing. It can be difficult to make them understand the data, but using Google Analytics and Data Studio would allow you to visually represent the data so that they can monitor it easily.
The website’s complexity of what’s doable should not degrade the focus of an SEO marketing program. A big part of an SEO consultant’s job is to analyze crawling and SEO issues, research competitors, extract insights, and present recommendations in a way that balances options with priorities.
Prioritization is the key factor in the overall success of any marketing campaign. The development team should take this as a positive note that SEO recommendations can have the most consequence (short and long term), and of course, are good guidelines to go by.
Keep Working on Your StrengthEven though it looks like there is a single discipline, there are tons of areas you can specialize if you are in the industry.
For example, let’s say you want to be a link builder, you may want to be an outreach specialist, or you may want to be a specialist in prospecting.
Once you know what you love doing, spend more time getting better at it. This does not mean you should not spend time improving your weaknesses. Hardly have I seen an SEO who doesn’t know how to do almost all the moving parts of the SEO process, but as you grow and probably join a bigger team, your strength will set you apart.
So you think you know ins-and-outs of SEO? Let’s go ahead and put that knowledge to the test.
SEO is no longer a traditional keyword-oriented model, and it takes so much to cover a full-blown SEO campaign as Google keeps altering its ranking algorithm.
If you have innovative approaches for SEO, you can do so by testing your ideas on a testing website before you execute them on your clients’ websites. SEO has always been about small experiments and taking the resulting data to better strategizes the next experiments.
Be your own first client. Run a blog and grow it using all the techniques you are learning.
Work on Your Personal BrandingPersonal branding for freelancers is all about finding out who you are and crafting your career around the true you. It’s also about constantly improving your online reputation.
As I discussed above, run a blog or a portfolio website.
When applying to SEO jobs on Upwork, Fiverr, or Freelancer, it is a standard practice to add in your primary website if you have one, as well as include previous websites you have worked on or even current blogs and affiliates sites you might run at present.
Your experience is, of course, the key selling point so take your time over it. You want to clearly state your experience in each area of SEO in separate paragraphs. Be brief but include all relevant information such as “SEO campaign manager for two years.”
A portfolio is perhaps the single most important item to have in place when trying to apply for an SEO job. Your portfolio should show all your professional qualifications and all the sites you have done previous SEO work for, and the successes you have had. Given the nature of the SEO market, having this online is incredibly beneficial.
Your social media personal profiles should be a snapshot of your expertise. If you’re looking for the attention of top-notch SEO agencies and SAAS brands for new SEO collaboration and no one is contacting you, start editing your profile regularly until you’ve got success.
Final Thoughts – How to Build a Career as an SEO Freelancer in 2023SEO as a freelancing career is one of the skills that are not likely to evaporate anytime soon. As long as search engines exist and people use them to find information online, their job role will continue to exist. Provided you produce a good ROI, communicate effectively, and meet timely delivery, you’ll find more freedom, better work-life balance, and no more 9-to-5.

The Cold Email Formula: How To Write Cold Emails That Get Clients
Are you sending cold emails to get clients but not getting any response?
Don’t worry, It’s not just you.
Many freelancers are facing the same problem.
In the initial stage, I was not getting responses as well.
But now I’ve increased my response rate.
In this post, I’m going to share how to write cold emails that convert.
Before that let’s find out what is cold emailing.
Let’s jump right in.
What is cold emailing?Cold emailing is a process of sending emails to someone who you have no prior relationship with, typically with the purpose of building a relationship, seeking employment, promoting a product or service, etc.
How To Write A Cold EmailWriting a cold email is easy.
But writing a cold email that converts into your clients is hard. Especially when you are a beginner and don’t have experience doing it.
Below, I’m going to share some actionable strategies to write a cold email that converts.
Know your prospectsFirst, you need to research your prospects.
You need to find out who they are, what are their pain points, etc.
Keep in mind that you are reaching out to a stranger. So you should collect some information about them and their business.
For that, you can check their website and social media handles.
Write an Eye-Catching Subject LineRead more: Freelancing for Beginners – The Ultimate Guide to Freelancing
What is the first thing your prospects will notice?
Yeah, you guessed it right, it’s the subject line.
You need to write an attractive subject line that catches your prospect’s attention instantly.
They should feel there is something valuable for them. Excite them to open your email. But don’t use clickbait subject lines.
Using your prospect’s first name is a good practice.
For example,
Hi John,
You deserve more attention on Instagram.
You need to test different kinds of subject lines. In the beginning, you don’t know what works or what doesn’t work.
Use ComplimentCompliment their work. Because everyone loves to hear something good about themselves.
For example, if you liked their blog post, website design, newsletter, etc.
Be genuine with the compliment.
Don’t try to fake it.
If you are saying someone that you have read their post, you must read the post blog post.
Specify something that you read in the blog post.
If you do this they will understand that you have read the whole post carefully.
And they might respond to your cold email.
Personalize Each EmailRead more: How To Start A Money-Making Blog
Personalization is the key to winning in cold emails. That’s the reason I have mentioned you need to research prospects.
You should always call them by their first name. For example, if you are writing an email to a content marketer named John.
Start with something like this, “Hey John”.
You should never use Dear Sir/Mam or Respected Sir.
It looks very unprofessional. Your prospects might never take this kind of email seriously. As a result, you will get no response from them.
Add ValueYou need to add value to your mail. Because your prospects might get dozens of emails every day.
There is a huge chance that your email will get lost if you use the same emails as others.
You need to write a unique email and make it valuable to them. Mention how you can help them to grow their business, sales, revenue, subscribers, followers, and so on.
If you can clarify how you can help them, the chances are they will reply to your cold email.

How To Become a Digital Nomad and Travel The World (2023)
Nowadays, it’s becoming easier to become a digital nomad and live in a place you love while you work remotely.
More and more people are escaping their 9-5 job. It’s because now it has become easier to follow your passion and pursue a career you love.
Also, people are aware of passive income opportunities, online businesses, and opportunities to work remotely are rising.
According to a recent study, 4.8 Million Americans consider themselves Digital Nomads.
Pieter Levels, the founder of Nomad List, predicted that there’ll be an estimated 1 billion digital nomads roaming the planet by 2035.
What Exactly Is a Digital Nomad? Here’s an easy-to-understand definition of a Digital Nomad:
Digital nomads are people who are location independent and travel the world full time while working remotely to earn a living.
They often work in coworking spaces, coffee shops, hotel rooms, or public libraries, relying on devices such as laptops, and smartphones with internet access.
Actually, anybody who can do their job with a laptop, a smartphone, and an internet connection can become a digital nomad.
In this post, I’m going to show you exactly how to become a digital nomad, the ways you can build skills, the best job and business you can do as a digital nomad, the best fully remote companies for digital nomad jobs, the best places to visit as a beginner digital nomad, and much more.
Let’s dive right in.
How Do You Become a Digital Nomad? The way of becoming a digital nomad isn’t the same for everyone. Everyone has different passions, skills, and professions.
So, there isn’t one specific blueprint for everyone to follow.
But there are some steps you can follow to become a digital nomad if you are just passionate about becoming a digital nomad.
You need some high-paying skills, a remote job or an online business, a little bit of confidence, and a destination with a reliable internet connection.
Let’s break down the steps of becoming a digital nomad.
This post contains affiliate links. I may receive a commission for purchases made through these links. This commission comes at no extra cost to you. Also, I don’t recommend anything that I don’t believe in.

Learn Required SkillsGoogle and YouTube and relevant blogs are the best teachers out there.
But it’s not easy for everyone to learn from these free resources because educational resources from those platforms are not organized and straightforward.
So, you can use online courses to learn the required skills.
Here are the best places to educate yourself and build skills:
YouTubeUdemySkillshareCourseraLyndaUdacityBy signing up for one of these resources, you can get access to thousands of online courses that will help you build skills fast.
Udemy and Skillshare are the best places to learn creative skills and the required skills to become a digital nomad, such as graphic design skills, photography skills, marketing skills, web design skills, etc.
If you want to learn to code, you can try FreeCodeCamp or CodeAcademy to get free coding lessons and tutorials.
There are many ways you can make money while traveling the world as a digital nomad.
You can make money doing freelance jobs and remote jobs for companies.
Also, you can build a passive income generating business to make money while traveling or even sleeping too!
Here are three types of jobs and businesses digital nomads do while traveling the world.
1. Start Your Own BusinessYou can start a blog, podcast, or YouTube channel to document your nomadic life and share your experience.
The best part is,
By doing these, you can build a passive income-generating business that makes money while you travel.
Also, you can start other passive income-generating businesses to make your digital nomad life easier. Because having passive income streams means true financial freedom.
Check out this post to get some genuine passive income ideas and to learn more about passive income.
2. Freelancing
Freelancing isn’t a passive income-generating business, but it’s one of the best ways to make instant active income as a digital nomad.
In freelancing, you have to sell your services to earn money. If you have a high-paying skill, you can make massive money by doing freelance jobs.
For example,
If you are a graphic designer, you can sell your graphic design services. You can design logos, banners, flyers, illustrations, etc.
The best place to sell your graphic design service is 99Designs. It’s the only design-specific freelance marketplace available on the market.
You can be a freelance writer, photographer, virtual assistant, digital marketer, and the list goes on.
If you’re a beginner, I suggest you start your freelance career on Fiverr because it’s user-friendly and beginner-friendly.

Also, you can use Upwork, Freelancer, Guru.com, Facebook groups, and other social media platforms to get more clients.
3. Get a Remote Job
Are you a young hustler?
Join our facebook group – ‘Young Hustlers‘
The difference between remote jobs and freelance jobs is remote jobs mean you’re a full-time or part-time employee at an organization or a company, while freelance jobs end once the project is over. In both cases, your presence isn’t required at the office.
Remote jobs are better than freelance jobs because sometimes it’s hard to get clients as a freelancer and remote jobs make your digital nomad life more secure.
If you have the required skills and degrees, you can quickly get a remote job and work from anywhere.
You can be a web developer, app developer, growth hacker, marketing specialist, graphic designer, software engineer, and the list goes on.
Some well-known companies offer flexible remote jobs for digital nomads. Some of them are:
MailerLiteZapierBufferDoistHubstaffAutomatticSafetyWingOnline job boards such as We Work Remotely, RemoteOK, and Remote.co are some of the great places to find flexible part-time jobs or full-time remote jobs. Or, if you’re looking for something more specific, here’s a good site for remote SQL jobs.
Also, the power of networking is huge. LinkedIn is a great place to apply for jobs. Also, it’s a great platform where you can showcase your experience and skills and network with other professionals.
You can directly approach a company for a remote job. Choose a remote-friendly company, let them know who you are and how the company can benefit from your skills, and ask if they have any positions available.

This course will teach you everything you need to know to get a remote job so that you can become a digital nomad and travel the world while making an income!

Educate yourself, motivate yourself, and boost your confidence by reading relevant blogs and books. Also, listen to podcasts and watch travel videos.
Nomadic Matt, Digital Nomad Soul, Hobo with a Laptop, Making It Anywhere, and Wandering Earl are some of my favorite digital nomad blogs which you can follow to learn more about the digital nomad lifestyle.
Some digital nomad books I recommend are:
How to Travel the World on $50 a Day by Matt KepnesThe 4-Hour Workweek: Escape 9-5, Live Anywhere, and Join the New Rich by Tim FerrisVagabonding: An Uncommon Guide to the Art of Long-Term World Travel by Rolf PottsTravel While You Work: The Ultimate Guide to Running a Business from Anywhere by Mish SladeAlso, you should read two of my favorite book, ‘Rich Dad Poor Dad‘ by Robert Kiyosaki and ‘Crushing It‘ by Gary Vaynerchuk, to learn more about income streams, new age business strategies, and achieving financial independence.
You can join digital nomad communities such as Couchsurfing, Nomad List, and Facebook Groups to get support and to meet more digital nomads.
Get Digital Nomad InsuranceSafetyWing is a travel medical insurance that was created by nomads for nomads. You can purchase a policy even if your trip has already started. You can pause and resume coverage with flexibility. 185 countries are covered and you don’t need to let them know about your itinerary in advance. Perfect for people like me who don’t know where they’ll be next month! Check out their website at SafetyWing.com.
Get International Internet ConnectionAs digital nomads often work online, a reliable, fast, and secure internet connection is a must for digital nomads.
Although you will find WIFI in most places today, it’s always a good idea to have a backup plan, like a mobile hotspot. Your smartphone hotspot can help you, but you have to buy a new SIM card whenever you travel internationally.
So, I recommend Skyroam; it is a global hotspot, which means you don’t have to buy a new SIM card everywhere you go. Inuidea readers get an exclusive discount with promo code INUETC.
Choose a Destination and Go!If you’re a beginner digital nomad and still learning how to become a digital nomad, I suggest you go to a popular as well as beginner-friendly digital nomad destination.
It’s obvious that you want a place with a lower cost of living with a higher quality of life. But more than that, you want to meet other digital nomads to make your digital nomad life easier.

Taipei, Taiwan
So, as a beginner, you have to choose your first destination wisely.
Here are the top 7 locations for digital nomads along with the cost of living.
Koh Lanta, Thailand – Average Cost of Living: $575-$1,620 per month.Prague, Czech Republic – Average Cost of Living: $970-$2,420 per month.Playa del Carmen, Mexico – Average Cost of Living: $900-$1,500 per month.Taipei, Taiwan – Average Cost of Living: $1,400-$2,560 per month.Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain – Average Cost of Living: $1,620-$2,420 per month.Medellin, Colombia – Average Cost of Living: $710-$1,620 per month.Tbilisi, Georgia – Average Cost of Living: $700-$1,550 per month.Do you know?
Bali is one of the most popular digital nomad destinations to avoid if you’re a beginner digital nomad. Bali was a paradise for digital nomads, but it has become too crowded and too expensive!
As well as Chiang Mai and Berlin become expensive too, and Cape Town becomes unsafe for visitors.
Quick Tips: You can use Nomadlist to find out your next destination. It’s the biggest crowdsourced database of cities in the world, analyzing 1,902,719+ data points to help you choose where to go next.
AccommodationFor free accommodation, check out Couchsurfing, it lets you meet and stay with locals all over the world for free.
Also, exploring Booking.com, Agoda, and Airbnb is a great way to find low-cost accommodation around your destination.
