Production of COVID Vaccine Abruptly Shuts Down

Drug maker Johnson & Johnson has shut down the sole factory that was making its coronavirus vaccine, according to a news report, making African nations worry that they will pay the price for the company’s decision to use the plant for a different vaccine that could position J&J to reap huge profits in the future.
Citing sources it identified as “people familiar with the decision,” The New York Times reported this week that Johnson & Johnson had temporarily halted production of the COVID-19 vaccine to make “an experimental but potentially more profitable vaccine to protect against an unrelated virus.”
The move “blindsided” two major customers for the vaccine, the Times reported: The African Union, which represents 55 countries on the continent, and Covax, an international group that distributes COVID-19 vaccines.

Gov. Whitmer offered Canada help clearing truckers

On Fox News Thursday night, Tucker Carlson cited unconfirmed reports that Michigan Democrat Governor Gretchen Whitmer offered Canadian authorities, the use of heavy equipment to move trucks participating in the Freedom Convoy protests in Canada off the Ambassador Bridge, which links Detroit, Michigan, with Windsor, Ontario.“There is a report just that we can’t verify it, but that the governor of Michigan Gretchen Whitmer has offered Canadian authorities, the use of ‘heavy equipment to move trucks off the bridge’ that connects Windsor Ontario with Michigan,” Carlson said.“If that’s true, how is that not interfering in the democracy of another country?” Carlson asked.“A United States elected official offering to shut down a human rights protest in another country, that’s consistent with our democratic principles? We’re going to work to find out if that’s in fact happened,” he said.On Thursday Whitmer issued a statement calling on Canadian authorities to open the bridge, which has been blocked for the majority of the week.“My m …

BOMBSHELL U.S ARMY Report: Biden Regime Responsible

A new damning report from DNC cheerleading network NBC blames the Biden regime for the “chaotic and deadly” Afghanistan withdrawal, which left 13 US soldiers dead.
Dave Gaubatz of 100 Percent Fed Up reports – During our short American history, wars and battles have always had a separation of power. The White House controls from a civilian perspective, and the Pentagon controls from a military perspective. Throughout our history, both have worked together to resolve and plan for national security matters. Our forefathers made it a law that the civilian Commander in Chief (President) always has the final decision. This is wonderful if America has a President who is qualified and truly cares about America and its people.
America and its allies had been at war with the Taliban, Al Qaeda, and ISIS from 2001 until 2021. At the very beginning, most Americans felt we must go to war because of Osama bin Laden’s attack on America (Sept 11, 2001). The years began to drag on, and American troops were dying practically every day. By the time we entered 2021, we had lost over 2,400 and injured over 20,000 military personnel.
Americans from both the left (liberal) and right (conservative) were beginning to question the policy of our troops remaining in Afghanistan. Americans were demanding we end the war and bring our troops back home. Many felt our government had provided billions of dollars to the Afghan government for the buildup of their military, and we had given them billions of dollars of equipment. It was time for the Afghan people to defend themselves.

Blinken: Russia Olympics invasion

Russia continues to move troops and military equipment toward the Ukrainian border, Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said Friday, warning that Russia could invade Ukraine soon, even during the ongoing Beijing Winter Olympics that are set to end on Feb. 20.Why it matters: Blinken said that American citizens in Ukraine should leave immediately, echoing a State Department advisory that said the U.S. will not be able to evacuate Americans from the country “in the event of Russian military action anywhere in Ukraine.“President Biden said during an NBC interview Thursday that Americans should leave Ukraine immediately. What they’re saying: “Simply put, we continue to see very troubling signs of Russian escalation, including new forces arriving at the Ukrainian border,” Blinken said during a press conference in Australia.“And as we’ve said before, we’re in a window when an invasion could begin at any time. And to be clear, that includes during the Olympics,” he added.“We’re continuing to draw down our embassy. We will continue that process. And we’ve also been very clear that any American citizens who remain in Ukraine should leave now.“The big picture: Russia has amassed more than 100,000 troops near Ukraine’s border but continues to deny that it has any plans to invade. On Thursday, Russia and Belarus launched their largest joint military exercises ever, involving up to 30,000 troops and sophisticated missile systems.Earlier this week, six Russian warships, including some that could be used in amphibious landing operations against Ukraine, entered the Black Sea from the Mediterranean for naval drills, Reuters reports.Russia in the past has launched military offensives around the Olympics, most notably its invasion of Georgia just before the start of the 2008 Summer Games in Beijing.Go deeper: Ukrain …

$7B in Afghan Funds to 9/11 Victims
President Joe Biden is expected to issue an executive order on Friday to move some $7 billion of the Afghan central bank’s assets frozen in the U.S. banking system to fund humanitarian relief in Afghanistan and compensate victims of the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks, according to a U.S. official familiar with the decision.
The order will require U.S. financial institutions to facilitate access to $3.5 billion of assets for the Afghan relief and basic needs. The other $3.5 billion would remain in the United States and be used to fund ongoing litigation by U.S. victims of terrorism, the official said. The official spoke on the condition of anonymity because the decision had not been formally announced.

Biden: Did ‘deep dive’ on SCOTUS Noms

President Joe Biden delivered a brief update on the status of his Supreme Court nominee hunt Thursday, confirming that the White House has conducted a thorough vetting process for “about four” candidates.
Biden’s comments came during an interview with NBC News’s Lester Holt following a speech on prescription drug pricing in Culpeper, Virginia.
BIDEN LEANS ON BOTH PARTIES FOR INPUT ON SUPREME COURT PICK
Pressed for information on his “short list,” the president said that all of the women he’s reviewed “are incredibly well-qualified and documented.”
“They really are the honor students. They come from the best universities. They have the best experience, some on the bench, some on the practice side,” he stated. “I’ve taken about four people and done a deep dive on them, meaning thorough background checks, to see if there’s anything in the background that would make them not qualified.”
Biden has looked to both Democrats and Republicans throughout his selection process …

Army: Afghan Disaster Biden’s Fault, He Lashes Out
President Joe Biden faced backlash late on Thursday after he attacked the credibility of the U.S. Army following its report that blamed the Biden administration for the disastrous pullout from Afghanistan late last summer.Biden made the remarks during an interview with NBC News’ Lester Holt in response to a question about a report that was in The Washington Post, which reported earlier in the day:Senior White House and State Department officials failed to grasp the Taliban’s steady advance on Afghanistan’s capital and resisted efforts by U.S. military leaders to prepare the evacuation of embassy personnel and Afghan allies weeks before Kabul’s fall, placing American troops ordered to carry out the withdrawal in greater danger, according to sworn testimony from multiple commanders involved in the operation.“On the subject of American citizens, I have to …
