Rough Weekend

It’s been a rough weekend. I had a massive water leak in the bathroom which drenched the room downstairs- my library. Spent all day Saturday and Sunday repairing the water leak and cleaning up the house.
Everything is fine now, but there’s a giant hole in my ceiling and some of my art books were damaged by the water. Now I have dry everything out and patch up the hole soon.
Despite the craziness of home ownership, I’ve been somewhat productive getting some work done. Here’s a concept art sneak peek of my friend’s movie project – Ink Head.

This snowy weather and school closings have played havoc with my work schedule. Now after dodging the blizzard bullet, I’ve managed to settle down here at my studio and get some neglected work done. All week long, I’ve been working on overdue covers.
Here’s Jungle Girl #2 cover, first of several covers that I need to finish before the month is out. I’m hoping that the weather holds out so that I can have the next few days completely devoted to work. Knock on wood.
