New York Comic-Con Wrap Up

Wow. What a great show. This year’s New York Comic Con was overwhelming to say the least. I was busy from the first moment I set up my banner in the Artist Alley. All my sketch covers were snatched up within the hour. I even have to do two more at the hotel to keep up with the demand. (This Slave Leia cover sketch was one of the latter.)

To be honest, I thought of retiring the “Outrage Spider-Gwen” character. Even I was getting tired of drawing her on the sketch covers but EVERYONE wanted one. I may have created a monster. I guess I’ll keep drawing her a little while longer.

This show was definitely a place to be for business deals. I was approached by every publisher it seems to write and illustrate their properties. For now, I’m happy with Marvel doing the Hulk, but afterward who knows? One thing for sure, 2016 will be a very big year for me.

Now, it’s time for a nap.
