Stress and weather finally got the better of me. I’m sick as a dog, first time getting sick in about 3 years. I hate getting sick. It slows my body down but worst of all, the cold/flu meds fog my mind where I can’t focus on anything. So, I’m going to take it easy, put my creator-owned projects aside for the time being and just concentrate on the Hulk project. (BTW, Greg Pak is kicking ass on the story. His scripts are just a joy to work on.)

Oh, a little bit of bright news on this gloomy Monday. Nike finally released the second t-shirt with my design: Space gorilla dunking a comet. I’m not sure when this came out but some of the bigger sporting goods stores should have it.

GOING STRONG ON THE HULK

Doing two major conventions, Baltimore Comic Con and New York Comic Con, within 2 weeks of each other is stressful and takes a toll on you, especially on your work schedule. Granted both shows were fun meeting fans and hanging out with your friends, but at the end of the day, conventions are important time away from your drawing table.

Now that I have the two big autumn American shows out of the way, I can finally knuckle down and get back on my Hulk project at Marvel. Unfortunately, I can’t show you all the awesome stuff that Greg Pak and I’ve been working on just yet. But trust me when I say, “it’s a doozy.”

Marvel should officially start releasing the art from the Totally Awesome Hulk soon. Until then, here’s a partial cover image of the Hulk #3 cover featuring the new villainess, Lady Hellbender.
