'Da Big Push
Sixty pages left on Madison, I'm guessing. I did a whopping 15 pages yesterday in eight hours. My fingers were smoking. I think it's some of my best work, and, as ususal, what flowed from my keyboard was totally unexpected. Let me rephrase that. I think it will be some of my best work. Right now it's messy. Who Am I Reading?
A reader asked me yesterday what I was reading, and while I was answering, I realized it was going to take more time than I wanted to put in right then. Besides, I wanted links! Who am I reading? The art of procrastination
I got up early this morning to soothe my guilt about, well, getting up late and being an hour off all day. Sure, it's summer, but that doesn't mean I can fritter the day away with blowing seeds off my driveway and organizing my rubber bands. It was the last one that did it for me. Of Dirt and Shoelaces
Okay, so Friday, after closing the office down, Guy and I went to the home improvement store and–amaze, amaze–came home with a bunch of homeless plants. I've been trying to naturalize the grounds that got torn up when the house was built, so when I found hearty ferns half off, I loaded up. I also picked up for a dollar about five sun-loving plants, which is what ended up giving me the most trouble.
