February 6th 2022 Update

I didn’t get quite to what I wanted this week, but I came close! Phoenix Ascendant is up to approximately 71,000 words, and still not where I expected to be in the story. It very easily could go over the 120,000 word mark at this point, but… we’ll see what happens. I’m happy it’s making progress, though!

I also got news that the pre-order for the audiobook of Adept of Chaos is live! It isn’t on iTunes yet, annoyingly, but it’s up on Amazon and Audible, links below!

January 30th 2022 Update

It’s already pretty much the end of the month. Time flies sometimes. Anyway! Phoenix Ascendant didn’t go quite as well as I’d hoped, but it’s up to about 60,000 words. I think I’m just about past the most difficult parts of the book to write, so it should speed up a little, but I can’t be certain. We’ll see how it goes, but I’m hopeful to finish the rough draft by the end of February.

January 23rd 2022 Update

The release of Talyn: Rebirth went reasonably well overall. Not great, but not bad either, which is about what I expected, if I’m being honest. It’s a little out of my usual wheelhouse, but that’s how it goes sometimes. Anyway, I’ve got some art to share as well as my usual update.

Phoenix Ascendant is up to about 51,000 words, which is a bit behind where I wanted it to be, but it isn’t bad considering I was sick last week and had a release this week. Hopefully the coming week goes better!

January 16th 2022 Update

This past week kicked my butt. I spent pretty much all of it recovering from being sick, so I’m afraid I only got about 1,000 words in on Soul Bound 2, which I’m now announcing as being named Phoenix Ascendant. Not how I hoped for the week to go, but there’s no real way to predict when I’m going to be sick. Ah, well.

January 9th 2022 Update

I’m afraid I got sick this week, so I’m going to keep this brief this time around. Despite that, I managed to get in about 7,500 words on Soul Bound 2, bringing it up to just over 40,000 words. Hopefully I get over this sickness quickly, but at the moment I think it’s just a cold. Hopefully that’s the case!

January 2nd 2022 Update

Happy New Year!

First of all, I have books to announce! Since I decided not to hang onto the files for long, the omnibi of Lilith’s Shadow are going live tomorrow. I went the rounds with myself over when to do it, and just decided to get the books out there as quickly as possible. So you’re aware, the only things that have changed in them is that I did a different foreword and afterward, so if you’re expecting different content, you’ll likely be disappointed.

December 26th 2021 Update

To all those who celebrate it, I hope you had a Merry Christmas! I’m celebrating with my family this weekend, so I set this post up well in advance (hopefully I had a good one as well). As I expected, this past week wasn’t terribly productive. Not that I didn’t get stuff done, mind you! I spent quite a bit of time getting omnibus volumes put together for Lilith’s Shadow, and am anticipating pre-orders for early January both for them and Talyn: Rebirth any day now.

December 19th 2021 Update

Talyn: Rebirth is off to the editor, and I should have it back relatively soon. I haven’t set up the pre-order just yet, as I’m deciding when to launch it, but I will in the next few days. I’m really happy to see it coming along!

Now, the coming two weeks will be a little crazy for me, with the run-up to the holidays, but I’m going to try to get some work done on Soul Bound 2 during that period. I wouldn’t expect much of an update except for artwork next week, though. Just as a bit of forewar...

December 12th 2021 Update

I’m not going to say that I’m over my writing slump just yet, but I definitely made progress this week! I wrote ~7,500 on Soul Bound 2 from Monday-Wednesday (I believe I’m at about , which is back to my usual writing speed. I might have gotten more done, but my editor had an earlier opening than I expected, and I swapped to editing Talyn: Rebirth on Thursday and Friday so that I can get it done in time for the opening.
