Lilith’s Shadow Omnibi Audio Release

The audiobooks of the Lilith’s Shadow omnibi have been released! Unfortunately, it doesn’t appear to be live on iTunes yet, but I can’t do anything but wait in that regard. I haven’t changed anything in the content of the audiobooks, other than doing a new foreword and afterward that matches the ebook collections, so if you already have all of the books, there isn’t anything new here. April 3rd 2022 Update

I finished my first editing pass of Phoenix Ascendant this past week, and sent it to my alpha team for feedback. This led to me taking a break, which is why this post is going up late. I forgot to set it up while I was reading books.

March 27th 2022 Update

I’ve completed the rough draft of Phoenix Ascendant! It’s about 150,000 words at the moment, making it much longer than I anticipated. I suppose that’s part of why my original plan was for the series to take three books, but I still feel that there wasn’t a satisfying spot to split this volume, so… one book it is!

I’ll be starting on editing this coming week, then sending it off to my alpha team. I may take a break after finishing it, but I’m not entirely sure. Once I have a release date in m...

March 20th 2022 Update

Phoenix Ascendant is up to ~135,000 words, and I’m in the home stretch. Hopefully it’ll go better this upcoming week, but there’s no telling for sure until I get there! I’m nervous and excited to be getting to this point with it.

Aside from that, there really isn’t much else to say about what’s going on for me. I’m just plodding along at the moment, trying to finish the book. Then I’ll be able to work on Mistress of Chaos, which I’ve really been looking forward to.

March 13th 2022 Update

Phoenix Ascendant is up to about 127,500 words! If the rest of it goes like I expect it to, I may finish it this week, which makes me rather happy. Hopefully I manage it, but we shall see! That still leaves a lot of editing, but that’s not as important as finishing the first draft.

Beyond that, I also got new cover art for Talyn: Rebirth, which some of you may have seen go up during the week. The artist is Denny Ibnu, and I’m really happy with how it turned out! The monsters aren’t perfectly ...

March 6th 2022 Update

Phoenix Ascendant is up to about 115,000 words, and it’s coming along well. I didn’t get writing in one day this past week for a variety of reasons, but even so I think that it’s doing well. I doubt I’ll finish the rough draft this week, but it’s theoretically possible. I’m heading into the end stages of the story, which sometimes just come out in an incredible rush, and other times don’t. So… we’ll see! I expect it to be more than 130,000 words, though, so it’ll probably go into next week.

February 27th 2022 Update

Phoenix Ascendant is up to about 105,000 words! It took a little work, but I managed to make up a bit of lost ground this week. I’m happy that it’s moving, and expect it’s going to be longer than I originally anticipated, since we aren’t to the end-game of the story yet. We’ll see how it goes, I might have more info next week.

February 20th 2022 Update

Phoenix Ascendant is up to ~91,000 words, and I’m not certain it won’t be finished this month. As much as I’d like it to be, the story isn’t going to be done by 100,000 words, not even close. I’m guessing that I’ll finish the rough draft in mid-March, but given how off my estimates have been, it could take longer. February 13th 2022 Update

Phoenix Ascendant is up to about 81,000 words and trucking along like I expected. Things are going reasonably well in it, so I’m hopeful that it’ll pick up the pace here in the next few weeks. Either way, it’s getting there!

Aside from that, there isn’t too much to say on the home front. I’m battling some writer’s block, but that’s normal enough for me. Hopefully I’ll get past it in short order. I hope everyone is doing well!
