Random Thought on Michael Keaton Batman Suit
I was thinking that my preference for Michael Keaton’s Batman over Christian Bale’s might have to do with the particularities of the Tim Burton Bat suit and its manufacturing.
I watched a video (below) about designing the batman suits through the years. Keaton was talking about the Batman turn, the quick shoulder turn he had to do since the neck didn’t bend.
It got me thinking that the Michael Keaton Batman didn’t crouch, run, move fast, or pose in positions other that standing stoic. So, now I’m wondering if the characteristics of manufacturing actually correlated into the formation of character and presence. For instance, if they made a new Jason movie where he ran, rolled, crouched and so on, it would give him characteristics which lead to a certain persona. So maybe the Keaton batsuit manufacturing dictated a persona, one which I prefered. Bale’s Batman perched on ledges and rails, while Keaton’s merely swished his cape in a dramatic escape (which apparently they hired a dancer to do those cool scenes for Keaton).

Kaiju vinyl figures- Japan
I can credit Pinterest with this new find that has grabbed my interest.
Have you heard of Kaiju vinyl figures? I hadn’t.
I guess Pinterest randomly thought I would like them, and they were right. The figures have really caught my imagination; so, I thought I would share some pics with ya’.
Kaiju, from what I gather, is a Japanese film genre that features giant monsters, usually attacking major cities and engaging the military and other monsters in battle; like Ultraman, Power Rangers and Godzilla.
