Research

Life is about searching, seeking. Because of the book series I get wrapped up into some pretty cool research.

For Sha’al I had to (and currently still am) researching Jewish culture. They are God’s chosen people (and we who know Christ as Lord are ingrafted). Yet their culture is very different, but much like our own: in that their identity is changing with the times. From what I gather less than 10% of the population of Israel are Torah followers. A very small percentage are Messianic Jews. Most consider themselves to be non-religious or atheist.

For Zeteo I’m researching more into “bugout bags”, preppers, and survival. I think to the past when people were more focused on survival than the pleasure we reside in today. What will happen when the world turns into chaos? Will you be prepared? Today’s photo is that of a drier lint ball coated in Vaseline.

Notes:

* The Mark is loosely enforced until the 6th Trumpet.

* After the 6th Trumpet, Israel drives the Marked over the Euphrates river and claim the Promised Land.

* Ginomai! (Baqash Book 5) starts sometime after the end of Zeteo and ends just after the 7th Bowl.

* The “4th” Origins Book will take place between the 1st and 4th Trumpet. That is all I know.

* I know what the Unnamed (Baqash Origins) Book is about, but cannot write it until I’m finished with Zeteo.

* I believe that only the Marked will suffer the 7 Bowls and that those who remain in Israel will not suffer.

A Letter from a Friend

“Hi!

Just finished reading Sha’al. It was brilliant!! I thoroughly enjoyed it! The characters have become my friends and I’ve cried with them and laughed at them and with them through their trials and tribulations.

Thank you for these books and although they are fiction (I prefer the title fiction with an important message ) they have made me realise that I need to work on my relationship with Heavenly Father and our elder brother Jesus Christ before it’s too late.

I’m now looking forward to the next book ‘Zeteo’!

Many thanks

Your Sister in Christ

Sue Cude”

Saturday 4 A. M.

Yesterday I finished re-writing the readers copy of “Bitter”. I figured that I could take a week off from writing. 4 a. m. rolls around, I wake up, and decide I’ll sleep in. It’s Saturday, right? Nope. Ideas for the prologue to “Zeteo: Baqash Book 4” start coming to me. The ideas stream at me so fast that I can hardly keep up!

I’ve drank my morning coffee. Now, I need to set up the folder on my computer, start a new MS Word file titled “Prologue”…

Thanks and Calm Assurance

In God have I put my trust and confident reliance; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me? Your vows are binding upon me, O God; I will give thank offerings to You. For You have rescued my soul from death, Yes, and my feet from stumbling, So that I may walk before God In the light of life. – Psalm 56:11-13 (Amplified)

God can harden and soften hearts. He can move mountains or cause fig trees to wither. He is for us (His followers) and not against us. Why should we be afraid of man?

Can He be trusted? Absolutely.

So how should we respond? With thanksgiving and praise.

Will we endure hardship? Yup. But He will be there for us. Imagine how hard life would be like without Him.

My Writing Method

Some authors plot out their stories and some write as the words come to them. As for myself, I wait upon the Lord for inspiration. A week or so ago, I wrote the first two paragraphs for a novelette titled “Bitter (Baqash Origins)”.

I didn’t know the plot or the reason I’m starting a new character named, “Chris”. This morning inspiration struck me and now I know his story and how he fits into the overall story of the books.

Sometimes the minor characters in our lives can have the largest impact. I believe that this is part of his story. I know who he impacts and why.

As for the setting:

The third angel sounded, and a great star fell from heaven, burning like a torch, and it fell on a third of the rivers and on the springs of waters. The name of the star is called Wormwood; and a third of the waters became wormwood, and many men died from the waters, because they were made bitter. – Revelation 8:10-11
