Truthful Change released

I'm happy to announce that Truthful Change, co-written with Alexa Snow, has now been released by Loose Id. Alexa and I had such a good time writing and researching this one and I hope that people enjoy it.

As ever, as always, I couldn't have asked for a better co-writer and I can't wait for us to start a new project in the fall.

Thanks go to Judi, our wonderful editor, all the proofing and admin staff at Loose Id, Pat for her advice, and April Martinez who creates some of the most gorgeous covers out there.

Hi, just making this blog look a little less bare.

So far, 2010 has been productive from a writing POV. Alexa Snow and I collaborated again -- always such a pleasure to write with Alexa -- and we have a new book coming out in June from Loose Id called 'Truthful Change'.

It's set in Dallas and we had a lot of fun writing it. To get the atmosphere right, we chatted to a friend who lives in the area and got some tips on popular local beers and such. I was also thrilled to discover that Google Maps gives you an 'in the car' virtual view of streets so we actually 'drove' the route our characters take in a car chase which was so useful for getting a feel for it.

Yes, we could've just made up a route, but this was more fun :-)

Alexa and I are hoping to write together again this year, as well as doing some solo projects, so I'll keep you posted on that.
