Release Date for 'The Square Peg'
Happy to announce that 'The Square Peg' by Jane Davitt and Alexa Snow will be published by Loose Id on August 7th.
It's a contemporary m/m romance with D/s, S/M overtones.
Benedict, a successful accountant, who's just been dumped for being boring, is surprised and pleased to learn that he’s inherited half ownership in a gay bar from his estranged father, seeing it as a chance to get out of his rut.
That's until he meets his new partner, a mouthy, disturbingly hot Brit called Shane, and discovers that the bar's in the red and Shane's not interested in renovations that could drive away their regulars.
When a late-night confrontation turns into the hottest sex either of them has experienced, they realize there's one way to fit a square peg into a round hole, but are they solving problems or papering over the cracks?
As they explore the new dynamic between them, pushing their limits until Ben's shocked at where his desire to dominate Shane takes him, the renovations to the bar begin. They're building something new, something good -- but will fear and an unexpected act of violence tear down what they've created?

Disciplinary Action
It's a threesome office romance/PWP, around 16,000 words with some kink to spice it up.

Rock and a Hard Place now out!
Delighted to announce that Rock and a Hard Place by Jane Davitt and Alexa Snow is now available from Loose Id here with a gorgeous cover by Valerie Tibbs.

Determined to outdo each other, business rivals Sean and Andrew land themselves in hot water when their private feud spills over at a very public charity auction. With neither willing to back down over the dream vacation at stake, they're told by their boss that they're both going and that they're to return as friends.
As fate would have it, their plane crashes and they wash up on a desert island where their feud is as likely to doom them as the lack of food and their inability to start a fire. But there's enough heat between them to set sparks flying once out and proud Sean discovers that Andrew's gay, but determined to remain in the closet.
Rescue comes, but brings with it new challenges. They're whisked back to their old lives with secrets to keep and a shared passion that makes it impossible for them to stay apart for long.
Choices must be made, new paths taken, and two men who have always been good at fighting find themselves, finally, with something worth fighting for: each other.

New book: 'The Square Peg'
Alexa Snow and I have just finished another book and signed the contract with Loose Id. I'll keep you all posted on the publication date.
The tentative title is 'The Square Peg' and it's about a man who inherits a share in a gay bar his father owned and first clashes, then falls for, the bar manager, who owns the other half of the bar. We're planning a sequel featuring one of the secondary characters.
And, of course, May 8 sees the release of 'Rock and a Hard Place' from Loose Id.
Busy year!

Rock and a Hard Place
Alexa and I just got the cover art for Rock and a Hard Place, due out from Loose Id on May 8.
Business rivals and bitter enemies, when Andrew and Sean's plane crashes and they're washed up on a desert island, their rivalry is as likely to doom them as the lack of food and their inability to start a fire. But there's enough heat between the two to start some sparks flying once they learn each other's secrets. Rescue comes and they're whisked back to their normal lives with new secrets to keep and enough heat between them to make it impossible for them to keep their hands off each other for long. Choices have to be made, decisions taken, and two men who've always been good at fighting find themselves with something worth fighting for - each other.
We love it; really captures the book perfectly, so kudos to Valerie Tibbs, the cover artist.

Wild Raspberries Drabble
Digging round in the archives, I found a drabble I wrote as a promo feature, with Dan and Tyler from Wild Raspberries and Wintergreen.
Posting it here so that it doesn't get lost again.
More Than One Way
Dan's eyes were closed, his lips shaping the words of the song his iPod was feeding him, a tuneless drone itching Tyler's ears. He contemplated walking over and peeling Dan's fingers from the bright red iPod, then putting them on him. Tyler had body parts that liked to be clutched lovingly, tightly, too.
But Dan pouting was hell, and Tyler didn't want to lose a finger.
He began to strip instead, tossing his discarded clothes at Dan.
By the time Tyler was unbuttoning his shirt, Dan was grinning, half-naked, and hard, the iPod slipping out of sight behind a cushion.

Spoken from the Heart is out today
Thrilled to announce that my new fantasy novel, Spoken from the Heart, was published by Torquere today, edited by Vincent Diamond, cover art by Alessia Brio.

As an up and coming actor in the city of Sorrent, Julian always has the perfect words to say, even if someone else wrote them. But when it comes to wooing the innocent young country man he's rescued and befriended, he's going to find that the only words that count are spoken from the heart, not the page.
Alex is innocent, eager to please, friendly, lovable -- and a trouble magnet. With the ducal court offering both temptations and danger, and the theater at risk from the duke's temper, both Alex and Julian find it difficult to separate friend from foe. Julian's ambitions drive him, even as his heart tries to lead the way, and Alex tumbles from one scrape to the next as the city swelters in the summer heat and sickness stalks the streets.
When Julian is faced with an impossible choice that will change his life, he's left with no script to follow, no stage direction to guide him. But if they're to make it unscathed and take a final bow, they'll need to be sure of only one thing. Each other.
