Rock and a Hard Place
Rock and a Hard Place, written by Alexa Snow and me, is finished and we're currently editing before sending it off to be considered for publication. Fingers crossed.
This was a research heavy book, because it's partially set on an island in the Maldives, where our two leads, Sean and Andrew, are washed up following a plane crash. We looked up everything from flight times and prices to life raft supplies and making fire with two sticks and a dozen other subjects too.
But we still had to time to work in a lot of romance, h/c, fighting, sex and other fun stuff.

Room at the Top
Delighted to announce that Room at the Top came third in the M/M Group 2011 Readers Choice Awards, in the m/m/m section.
Many thanks to those who voted for it and the organizers of the awards. I know how much work goes on behind the scenes after helping run a fandom award for a few years.
And many congratulations to all the winners and nominees!

'Spoken from the Heart' almost completed
I've pretty much finished my next novel, and I'm into the editing phase. That's where I discover that despite having a list of names and places, I've still managed to use the same name for two characters' sisters.
I tend to write from start to finish without looking back, so this is always an interesting exercise and a lot of tweaking gets done.
'Spoken from the Heart' is a first for me because it's not a contemporary setting, nor a strictly historical one. Rather, I blithely invented a new world, with a flavor of three or four pre-industrial eras swirled together. No magic, but there's a different belief system in place, centered around the moon.
There's also a theatrical background as one of the two leads is an actor and that was a lot of fun to play with.
Back to the editing!

Charity Sip 'Go With The Flow' available now!
Today the Charity Sips from Torquere to raise money for the 'It Gets Better' campaign go live.
There are stories of every kind from wonderful authors, and it's a great way to support a good cause.
Rainbow Books have agreed to sponsor the Charity Sip blitz and be the sole distributor outside the TQ website for the books. Instead of taking their usual commission from the sales of the books, they'll donate their share to the It Gets Better project.
The Sips can all be found here and my Sip is here at Torquere:
Go With the Flow
and here at Rainbow Books:
Go With the Flow
Stressed and exhausted, Paul's not too happy about being pushed into taking a yoga class by his sister, but the instructor, Rob, is hot enough to change his mind. When he falls asleep at the end of the session, he thinks he's blown it and wants to leave, but Rob's got other ideas.

Gambling on Love
Gambling on Love will be published by Ellora's Cave on July 29th.
Eleven years ago, Gary Stratton left town when he was outed at high school and broke Abe Carter's eighteen-year old heart. Now he's back, crashing into Abe's truck during a blizzard, as arrogant and stubborn as before – and just as irresistible.
Time's changed both of them in ways they never imagined, but the heat that flares between them is enough to thaw out any ice. As Abe discovers just what Gary did to survive in the city, and Gary realizes that the boy he only ever kissed has grown into a man with needs that match his own, they start to fall in love all over again.
But with Gary determined to carry out one final order from the rich older man he's been living with – and obeying – for years until Peter's death, a dead man's plans might split the two of them apart, this time for keeps.
