You are not alone…
I want to know… how are you feeling during this phase of life, the pandemic, the isolation, the job loss, the job innovation, the life changes, the weight gain, the home focus, the creative disparity… the weird shit, the “new normal”, the masks, the illnesses, the wellness… are you dancing, or not dancing, are you creating, or vegging on the couch, are you in practice of extreme self care, or not caring at all, are you feeling overwhelmed, or refreshed, connecting or in quiet reflection… there is so much change… I am like a yoyo these days. ready to kick in and move forward, and then the next day, ready to sit down, wanting to hug someone, anyone, everyone, and so thankful for my husband and my dogs… ready to write my next book or teach my next class or gather my tribes, and then just wanting to sit on the couch while the flames grow higher near my town,.. and wondering what is next… the hurricanes, the online classes, the deaths, the new online gatherings, the new book and the course that is moving me forward, and wanting to move forward as if nothing is different, but oh, so much is different… and worried, and curious, and go out, and then, no, don’t go out, and open up and then no, don’t open up, and desperately wanting the connection as my peeps are out forging directions of their own because they have to, ways to survive, ways to thrive, stand up and show I say, but not always the easy route… time to dive in deep, listen up, ask for guidance, hit the road, step away, lighten up, listen up, listen up, listen up… ask as you shall receive, acknowledge the changes even in the not knowing, improvisation at its finest is what I have taught my dancers for years, problem solving in the intuitive wisdom we all have, and have access to,
the divine connection, the song of life, the music of living, the dance we forge ahead with,
you can do it, I can do it,
you don’t even need to know what is next, we just begin again, and know…
we, you, are not alone…

The paperback is here!
Hello friend!
What a week! So much fun…
The biggest news, you may have heard, is that my latest book, From Soulless Job to Creative Abundance ( find Fulfillment and Prosperity with your Art), is now available as a paperback…
an actual physical book you can hug! ( because you can’t hug people right now)! I’ve said before how much I love ebooks, so easy, convenient, and great for traveling.
But there is nothing like holding a real book in your hands, especially for us book junkies ( and you know who you are!). Turning down the corners, marking up the pages with your neon markers on favorite lines of inspiration. The books I regularly get in real paper form are books like mine, self-help books, inspirational books… books that I want to go back to again and again…know what I mean?
So I’m super excited to now be able to offer up my book in this format. First, it came out as an ebook, so cool and exciting! And it made the bestseller list at Amazon right away… and I sold and gave away hundreds of copies… but NOW, you can have it in your hands… The life of this book will live on, and eventually, I will record it as an audiobook which I am so thrilled with that idea, of me reading it out loud… I LOVE audiobooks at certain times and for certain things, but that will come later…
I had a fun Heart and Hustle FB Live book launch celebration party earlier this week, with over 400 views ( OMGoddess!), and I thank all of you for your support, for showing up for me and being part of my growing global tribe of creative entrepreneurs! It means so much to me that you were there, that you have bought the book, and have given me outstanding reviews. I can’t thank you enough… just freaking WOW!

Lots of good dance goodness around the globe! Global Caravan tribe dancer, Nina in Australia, just finished up Tribal in the Tropics, a week of dance and certifications and more dance, along with the beautiful sisterhood and connections that are made through this artform!
Nina certified Emma Grassam Liza Alma Salma and Shirley Pevitt over yonder near Cairns!
And Angie Wimmer around Boston also finished up teaching her CS3 course and certified three dancers in Collective Soul Level One- Lori Bullett & Anouk Pedersen and Debbie Hawkins!

While meditating while camping a few weeks ago, early one morning, at this beautiful calm lake, I wrote a little life short, a poem… and thought you would enjoy it, a little respite for your day…what does it seem to be about to you?

The lone boat
The lone boat
Ripples the steamy water of the once
smooth -as- glass-like lake
As it glides
Into quiet territory
Like a moving meditation
Once again the stillness returns
Continuing the practice of silent focus
Breathing into the returning flow
Then a thrown rock creates concentric circles
Of a mild disruption to the
Mind matter
As the way chatter jumps back in
And another boat slips and slides its way through the mist
The birdsong awakens more beautiful
Singsong thoughts, and the birds peck at arising jumbles
And the morning sun awakens the new day
Brining warm peace and a long slow
Revitalizing breath
Opening the eyes and the soul to a renewed life

I am committed to believing that everything I have been through is a gift.
Abuse, heartbreak, divorce, death, supporting a loved one with substance abuse disorder, parenting…these are all gifts. The kind of gifts that sometimes “hurt so good”. Do you know the Japanese term kintsugi? It refers to an art form where cracks in pottery are filled with precious metals. Breakage and repair are part of an object’s history, not something to disguise. I really love this concept because I think I fell apart in order to fall together. Broke down to break open. My cracks and scars are part of my history and with this history I shine with wisdom, leaving no room for shame.

so much summer goodness in Paulette land! I hope you can join me…

besides that Jeff and I had our 36th wedding anniversary… (OMGoddess) yesterday, how amazing is that… I posted lots of photos from over the years on FB and it was really fun… even though we could not go out to celebrate ( covid), we had a special day for ourselves…my soulmate, my best friend, my man… here is our wedding picture…pretty dang cute, and young…
