More about Lisa:
Lisa Aranas, JD, LCPC, is a Life Coach and attorney and Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who received her counseling degree in 2001.
Since receiving her counseling degree, Lisa has devoted herself to helping couples, adults, adolescents, and families experience a better sense of harmony and happiness in their lives. Her work includes helping clients struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, addictions, OCD, ADHD, relationship issues, family conflict, grief, GBLTQ, and self-esteem issues. However, beyond just helping resolve their “brokenness,” she also guides her clients in helping them find purpose and meaning in their lives.
Lisa sees every person from a holistic point of view, recognizing that the mind, body, and spirit are intricately intertwined. Therefore, when working with clients, she incorporates interventions and educates her clients from all aspects – psychological (using various models of therapy including CBT and narrative therapy), physical (educating on nutrition and exercise), and spiritual (including spiritual laws, mindfulness, and guided meditations). She believes that clients ultimately can be free to live their lives fully following this simple guideline: Eat right, move your body right, hydrate right, think right, sleep right, and connect to the universe/higher power right. All of her interventions are designed to help clients remove obstacles that get in their way of being free to be their best authentic selves.
More about Ana:
Ana was born in Bulgaria where she spent the first 8 years of her life before moving to Russia for 6 years. After returning to her homeland, she earned her Associate degree from the Technical University of Ruse pursuing her passion for art and innovative design. Most significantly, even before leaving Bulgaria, Ana already knew that she wanted to help people so that they would not have to struggle in life. This became the driving force of everything she did, including knowing that she needed to relocate to the United States.
When she was 20, her dream to move to the States materialized. Even as a stay-at-home mom, she educated herself on personal well-being. Her yoga training program was one of her stepping-stones to understanding how important it is for one to care not only for the body, but the mind and spirit as well. That launched her into learning more about whole wellness. That led her to studying energy work and the connection between emotions, mental, and physical health.
In 2013, she began to study the ancient wisdom of Kabbalah, a combination of spiritual and psychological philosophies combined to bring authentic happiness to anyone. After a few years of learning and volunteering at the Kabbalah center, she was ready to be on her own. In 2016 she opened her own business and started working with clients. She knew that her message was worth spreading so she started appearing on stage. Her love of teaching and inspiring people propelled her to start teaching in different institutions.
In 2018, Ana met Lisa Aranas, a family therapist, who shares the same vision of freeing people of limiting thoughts and emotions. After witnessing the power of their combined talents in helping clients, they decided to officially join to bridge Eastern and Western philosophies and created Empowered And Authentic Living (EAL).

finding your way
We’ve been addicted to going fast, to instant gratification, to keep on moving, perhaps to prove the word “busy” is how you are, to the physical adrenaline of constant rotation through life. Do you know what I mean? That has been me over and over again through my years. With modern technology, instant buying and delivery tomorrow, to damn, my internet is so slow today, or even worse, my internet is DOWN. omg…
And now. These days, we find time on our hands, isolation and social distancing in place, no going to work, hell, staying in your pajamas all day ( oh no, not me, I get dressed every day, even if it is yoga pants all day!) and I make my bed, and i do the dishes, I brush my teeth, I want to present myself to my day… I have to have some order from chaos, so my brain is free to move forward!
There are so many blessings in this time, it keeps blowing my mind. And I am loving it. Taking time to just be, to just sit and ponder, to write a poem, to look around. Feel the gratitude of life.
I wrote about this a bit in my last blog, my sunday musings, with my new “life short” about a new grace. ( here.)

Today is a down day, as in chill. Taking time to relax, enjoy this beautiful day, dreams of veggies growing in my new soon to be garden, my new book coming soon, bike riding with friends around paradise with masks on, eye candy art, taking time to reread and chronicle some poems ( my life shorts), and just to be! And while I was being, I started writing a new life short. In my head.
And damn it, I had to run to get my computer so I could capture the wave of words. Or they would be gone in a heartbeat. My memory does not retain things sometimes! And the words were pouring out. Thinking about the time we are in, thinking about standing up and speaking my piece, of guiding others to find their truth, to making a stand for our planet and our creatures, and to not eat them, to believe in my own authenticity. to dance with my dreams and my visions and my history, to quit sucking it up sometimes to please others. Everyone has a voice, everyone has a belief, but to help change the planet and the times and our businesses and our choices now is so important. It will never be the same, nor should it be. We are here to stand up and speak up and not be afraid to create and pontificate!
And what is the new normal? What was the old normal? Sitting and comforting and consuming and not acknowledging how the earth was changing, the animals were dying, the air was disgusting, the consumerism was obnoxious. Yet, there was a beauty, lying deep within, a vision of perhaps, of habit breaking, of taste changing, of old ways going away and new norms being set. Of possibilities being seen, if only…
Paul Jarvis wrote today in his Sunday missive, ” Let me explain: normal, for the most part with the global economy and big business has been kind of a burning dumpster fire. It’s been ruining our planet and tearing through finite resources, putting profit over people, and creating a vast chasm of a divide between those at the top and everyone else.”
It can’t be the same, peeps, we need to take a stand and make it better and honor all that came before, and especially all that will come after this crazy time of lockdown and isolation and fear, but also hope and opportunities. For we are all here to live in beauty, to honor the sacred ways, to create, to be the living we all are doing, the bodies that we all have, the relationships we can all be part of, the work that we envision for ourselves, to be part of the whole, the tribe, the circle of life.
And how cool is that? That we have a choice and a chance…
and here is my new life short, called A New Grace
Being a magic maker of dreams
Being an enchantress and a poetess
A goddess of living and loving
Life will never be normal again I hear
But what is normal and was it ever?
My normal is as a sacred rebel,
A dancer to my own drummer
Hearing and seeing and vision questing
Asking for the light, drawing down the light
Singing the songs of my soul, my divine and fucking sacred soul
I have wallowed in, but will not settle
In these times of change, I must stand for my dreams
Others question
Some fight for their own visions
And fight for the perpetual sameness
But I believe in my ways
My stories, my visions
My past and my future
And here now in the present
My values, the earth and the creatures,
I have guided many into their own dreams
As I follow mine
To show, to speak up, to guide,
To honor the new ways of living
To honor the life that is changing
Of standing in power and rightness
And divineness
It will never be the same
Nor should it be…
We have been shown a new way,
We have been shown a change
We have been given a reprieve
We must look beyond the comfort
The ways of yesteryear
The unknowing and the unseeing
The habits of disgrace
Can we step forward into a new grace
A new compassion and passion
As the air unfolds and the dolphins swim
The earth starts to resonate with itself again
Void of the filth and the consumption
Back to the sacred
The sacred tribes will rule if given a chance
If they take to the listening deep
If they allow the chance and the change
To see the wrongs of their ways
The habits to break
The lives to take
The art to create
There is so much beauty and support
To be a way maker and a life changer

I met Chris 3 years ago on a working retreat in Fiji, and we’ve stayed connected ever since, so I am delighted that he spend some time with me for this interview.

Soulful Mastermind starts tomorrow- Pay What You Can!
Hello gorgeous soul…
As I write this, we just had another earthquake. Bam… How life can change in a second. I don’t know about you, but over the past few weeks I’ve had days of superior strength and resiliency, and I’ve had days of twiddling thumbs and WTF, and tears bursting out at nothing, even sobbing at nothing. I go out to the ghost town and it is surreal. I feel like I live in a bubble, sometimes in my own little world, it is as if nothing is different. Then I pause and remember, look around. Wearing bandanas as masks to the grocery store makes me shudder and cry. Standing far away from others is heart-wrenching. I hear bitching and complaining, I hear love and support, I hear fear and uncertainty. I hear concern and questioning. I rise up. I will rise up. I will continue to live, to create, to self-care, to hug with my eyes, to reach out when possible, to lead and listen. And do all I can to continue on. And support you as I do. I love you.

Oh yes, learning how to set up a schedule, while you create your actionable steps with a new ability to envision, define the outcome and realize the purpose of what you are wanting… makes a huge difference in how you run your daily life and business, and get things done with ease and flow and magic, instead of struggle and overwhelm. *Ask for What You Want–and believe in yourself. Ready to walk your talk, Now — first you feel it and believe it, then you can see all your opportunities. Friday What I’m Loving!
What rocks your world? Makes you swoon? Giggle? Cry? So full of love that your heart wants to burst?Do you know? Do you take the time to stop and let your world be rocked? Can you fill yourself up with happy?
Will you stop right now and make a short list of a few things that make you happy? Come on, give me the happy stuff! For me, some of those things that make my heart sing a little song are watching my dogs run in the park chasing squirrels, and taking time for myself to read inspiring book and blogs, and cooking dinner while I sing loud some Dwight Youkum songs, and volunteering my time every week at the dog shelter. That is a few, and I make sure to do some of them every day. Only I can fill myself up and make me happy, I can’t depend on that from anyone else. Plus then I can pass on that good feeling with a smile…
Now of course, being Friday, I have a few gatherings of words and folks to share with you! Don’t you love finding a new book to read, or a quote to make you think, or a song to make you smile? Enjoy….
