The Choice to Overcome 🌻

Did you know that in the face of uncertainty and challenge, we have a choice in our response?

Last week, I shared a moment from Revealed Mercy when Maddie was overwhelmed with fear.

If you haven't read the Revealed Book Series, our girl, Maddie, has suffered much of her life with a spirit of fear. Anxiety, panic attacks, and worry have been her go-to survival response when met with challenges.

BUT GOD flipped the script and set her free from fear. This doesn't mean she doesn’t face her old nemesis,...

Remain in the Vine 🌻

Welcome to 2025!

Last week, I challenged you with the question, "What is God growing in you?" I pray this has led you into a rich and intimate conversation with the Lord as He reveals the answer.

At the end of every year, I spend New Year's Eve going through my praise jar and giving God praise for all He did. I had much to be grateful for in 2024. One of my praises was YOU. I am grateful to you and for each person who has taken the time to follow me on this writing journey. Another of my praises w...

What is God growing in you? 🌻

Last week, we chatted about remembering. Today, I am flipping the script and asking you to forget.

That’s right- forget.

Forget those things that weigh you down with fear and false beliefs. Forget the old ways of life that lead to self-deprecation. Forget the unforgiveness that keeps you bound in resentment and bitterness.

God gave His people a similar Word: “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way...

Rest in Remembering 🌻

This week's letter will be short but hopefully will serve to bring hope as you prepare to enter 2025.

A loving mentor once encouraged me to obtain a jar, and over the next year, it would be filled with praises as God allowed me to see His Hand move.

I am so grateful for the love of a Father who blessed us with a memory so we could remember the joy of His Presence and the blessings from His Heart.

As I rest in the awe and wonder of Jesus’ birth, I sit on the floor, surrounded by words written from m...

Hope is Revealed 🌻

I'll never forget the first song I wrote. It was 2012. My son went to prison for eight long years of his life. After I received the call that changed everything, I sat at a traffic light, railing at God. "How could you let this happen? We have been praying!" I cried. To which I heard an audible voice that said, "Eve, you are worried about the next three years, but it is his eternity that I am interested in." At that moment, I knew God had my son in His hands.

Hebrews 6:19-20a came alive for me th...

The Gift of Grief 🌻

Hey, Ya'll! Welcome to Fun Fact Friday. My name is Eve, and this is my week in writing. Grab your favorite beverage, and let's chat about grief.

Have you ever lost something or someone?

My sons were nine and six. It was our first time going to the new Mall of Georgia. We had been to malls before, but never one so large. It currently stands as one of the largest malls in America, covering 1.7 million square feet and three stories, but I digress.

I remember looking up as I walked through the double d...

From Pain to Purpose 🌻

This week's writing is dedicated to a dear couple whom I am blessed to call friends. If you've read the Revealed Book Series, you may notice that I'm not afraid to tackle hard topics, and that is the point. If I write about having courage through tribulation, I must write circumstances where courage is needed.

My friends worked for the local police department for many years. They showed more courage in unimaginable circumstances than I could cover in one book. Yet, they are gentle and kind. They ...

Grateful for my Tribe 🌻

Today's fun fact is credited to Harvard Health and psychologists Dr. Robert Emmons of the University of California and Dr. Michael McCullough from the University of Miami. Their research highlights the benefits of gratitude in both our well-being and relationships.

The Bible has a great deal to say about gratitude. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 says, "Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus."

Gratitude is God's will.

In my writing...

I have spent the last year studying the books of Daniel and Revelation in preparation for Revealed Fire. The result of this time has marked me. I have learned much about God's love for His people and desire to prepare us for His purpose.

This week, I would like to share the five visions of Daniel and the prophetic history that followed.

This week, I would like to share the five visions of Daniel and the prophetic history that followed.

This is for all of my history buffs!

Daniel was a royal, born and bred. As a teenager, he and his people were taken into captivity by the Babylonians. The book of ...
