We did it! 🌻
If I can be transparent, it's been a rough week, and I don't have many words this week except to say THANK YOU!
Thank you to everyone who has read my Substack.
Thank you to everyone who has read my books.
Thank you to everyone who has supported me.
Thank you to everyone who has reviewed and shared my books.
Thank you to everyone who has prayed for me!!!
I am so grateful to and for you!
Now, to the fun stuff. The book is in the hands of my amazing editors! For the next two months, I will build my launch...

Who is Your Ideal Reader? 🌻
Are you a writer? If your answer is yes, then today's letter is for you. No? Well, you are welcome to join us on this journey of discovery.
If you've joined me for coffee over the last year, hopefully you have learned a little of my heart.
I am a daughter of the King who loves to point others to Jesus. Why? Because He paid the ransom that I couldn't pay. He restored my relationship to my Father and set me free from the burdens and hindrances that sought to destroy me—fear being the greatest strong...

Find the Little Blessings 🌻
Last week we explored what happens through us in an outpouring of fruit from the Vine. This week, I wanted to share what happens in us when we experience this outpouring.
In the wake of Hurricane Helene, the Lord finished a work in Revealed Courage that began several months prior. You can read about my wrestling experience here.
Perhaps you, too, have wrestled with the weight of hardships that seem to be coming at us at lightning-fast speeds.
Is our generation overwhelmed by the destruction surroun...

An Outpouring of Fruit 🌻
Last week we chatted about the Master Gardener and His cultivation of our hearts. This week, I'd like to go a bit deeper and chat about the fruit that comes from His harvest.
You may recall that my word for the year is "remain." At the word's reveal, I shared the life God has for us when we remain in the vine. If you'd like to catch it again, you can do so here.
According to Wikipedia, a grape vine begins from a flower bud that swells and breaks open. A Vine Dresser will often take cuttings from a...

The Garden of the Heart 🌻
Do you like to get your hands dirty? Me too! I don't claim to be a master gardener, but I love watching the life process from seed to harvest.
Last week, I shared my love for Isaiah 55 and the promise that everything God sends will return to Him. Today, I would like to expound on this idea, Jesus tells a parable of a sower in Matthew 13. I encourage you to read the passage. When God sends a Word, He doesn't only wait for it to return. In a surrendered heart, He actively participates in planting t...

The Why of Things 🌻
What inspires you? What moves you? What gets you up in the morning?
When I was growing up, my answer might have been "going to school" or "finding my squad."
Today, my answer is a bit different.
For many years, the idea of life purpose was alien to me—personal life purpose that is. When someone asked me to share why I thought I was on the earth, my answers sounded something like: to be someone's daughter, someone's sister, someone's wife, or someone's mom. But these were only part of the story.
Our ...

Revealed Courage 🌻
Welcome to book three of the Revealed Book Series. This book is the third and final installment of Maddie's journey through tribulation. I can't believe we are almost at the end of this labor of love!
But guess what? The end is only the beginning!
Today, YOU, my amazing readers, get the FIRST LOOK at the cover of:
Revealed Courage: A Journey Forged Through Fire.
As I wrestled through the plot of Revealed Courage, it was clear that book three needed an actionable title, ergo the name change.
In Reveal...

True Courage 🌻
Can I ask you a question? How are you? No, really, how are you?
It's been a challenging week for me. I am thankful for last week's rest, which the Lord knew I would need.
On Monday night, a project I was on did not go according to plan. I have spent the last four days and nights being reminded why design, diagrams, and processes are needed. You don't need them 'til you need them. Thankfully, I had them.
Today, as I write this, I am spent. Not only have I been babying two Xeon 4114s all week, but I ...

A Week of Rest 🌻
It's that time again. I am resting this week in preparation for the final writing phase in the Revealed Book Series.
If you also need rest, check out my letter in week 38: A Time to Rest.
Today's freebie is a week of prayer prompts to lead you to rest.
Next week, I'll be back refreshed and ready to share one of my favorite scenes from the Revealed Book Series.
Thank you for following my journey. I am so grateful for you!
A Prayer for you:
Father God, we thank You for the gift of rest. Lord, we ask tha...
My Week in Writing
I love to take long walks through t Hi! I'm Eve, an author and encourager who loves words and The Word. I am a daughter of the King who believes in God's great Love and His desire to draw us near Him.
I love to take long walks through the garden of God's creation with the Master Gardener and find the little blessings He leaves for us. It is my prayer that you will, too.
My favorite things are playing board games with the Fam, singing sweet tunes of inspiration, writing, and helping others find freedom in Christ as they realize He loves them. My passion includes helping the next generation find Jesus as we encourage them that they were made for such a time as this. May we all bloom where we are planted!
