Good News on Good Friday! 🌻

On this Good Friday, I sit in the somber truth of Isaiah fifty-three:

"He was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on Him."

I don't know about you, but thinking of what Jesus did for us on the Cross is gut-wrenching. And it should be, for it was for freedom that Christ came to set us free. There was great cost involved. Thankfully, this wasn't the end of the story.

The Delight of my Heart 🌻

Also called the love hormone or the cuddle chemical, Oxytocin, alongside other neurotransmitters like dopamine and serotonin, has a powerful impact on our well-being as it carries chemical messages from one nerve cell to the next.

Isn't it amazing? Our Creator formed our DNA with the very gene designed to find delight in Him.

I love it when science catches up to God's word. The word "delight" and its variations appear approximately 110 times in the Bible.
