The little one was born in December. Between the fact that you need to limit a newborn’s exposure to public spaces and the fact that I couldn’t drive, we were stuck inside for most of the first three months of the year. Christmas in July: Happy 1st Birthday to Polar Twilight!
While it was sort of random that my Christmas play, Polar Twilight, was published in the middle of the summer, I will never forget its publication date. That’s because today is also my parent’s wedding anniversary! They were married on 7/17/71… How cool is that?

How I Binge Blog: one for now, one for the can (my rainy day queue of stockpiled posts)
People always ask me how I find time to blog so regularly in between everything else I do and I want to let you in on a little secret: I don’t blog regularly at all. I blog very sporadically and I just make my various blogs seem like they have a regular posting schedule and that they stay active weekly by using a mix of live posts and a queue of pre-written posts for the weeks when I don’t have time to write a new one. I call it Binge Blogging.
