A really good Friday

Today is March 29th. It is also Good Friday.


The last time Good Friday fell on March 29th was 2002.


I was a senior in college. Many of our friends had gone home for the holiday weekend but three of my best friends were still on campus: Katie, Neal and Steve. We decided to have a jam packed evening of fun together to make up for the fact that everyone else had ditched us. It was, we all cheesily punned every few minutes, going to be a good Friday.

Script Frenzy is dead. Long live Script Frenzy.

As we discussed at length last week, Script Frenzy has been cancelled and I was annoyed but I’ve come to peace with it. But when one door closes, another opens and I’m excited to keep the Screnzy alive unofficially through Camp NaNoWriMo.

But before we get to that, I want to take a moment to talk to my fellow Script Frenzy members.

By now most of you will have heard the news but for those that haven’t: Script Frenzy has beencancelled. I promised you back in this postthat we’d discuss this more and I haven’t yet because, frankly, the whole thing leaves a terrible taste in my mouth.
