A special Bond with Equines

An Amazing Friendship

Wilson enjoys watching me work inside my art studio. Even though I had finished early and closed up for the day, he still looks for me through the window. Now, Star watches me work too, they often greet me at the door and keep me company through the open window, we have had many interesting conversations. Sometimes Whiskey joins them or naps nearby. Their love and loyalty is so heart warming. I'm blessed with the bond between us.Now that the mushy stuff is over- yes- I do clean up around the house at the end of the day. One of the joys of horse ownership.

Feeding Frenzy Foiled!

Feeding Frenzy Foiled!

We had some uninvited rodent related guests that insisted on bringing all their friends, family, and neighbors to the round pen when we fed our horse, Whiskey.  We had to do something, find out how we solved this problem on our Montanan Mountain.  Laugh and learn with us!

Lightning Storm on the Mountain

Summer Storm
I was fortunate enough to capture a couple of minutes of this lightning storm.  It was a fascinating experience that I wanted to share with you all.   The storms move across the mountains very quickly and this one began almost 50 miles away.  Sit back and enjoy the big skies from our mountain homestead in the west.

An evening in the West...join us on the porch.

An evening in the west...
One of the joys of summer on the mountain, is experiencing the breathtaking sunsets.  When the day is coming to an end, I reach for my camera and enjoy watching the skies for the ever changing colors in the painted skies.  I hope you enjoy them too.

Voices of the West-Live Radio interview

A Voice in the West

I had the privilege of being interviewed on a radio program called "Voices of the West."  The hosts on the show are filled with personality, and we had a great time laughing and sharing stories about western life, wild animals, art, horses, and a favorite hobby of mine that will surprise you!  Enjoy the conversation, and visit the west without getting your boots muddy.

The Ultimate Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookie

This is a fabulous cookie!

This is also one of my "laugh and learn" videos, so enjoy the process- and the cookie.  It's moist and tender with large milk chocolate pieces. You can't go wrong with pumpkin, oats, and chocolate.  I hope you try them.  They are great for parties and pot luck gatherings, they freeze well too, if you want to save some for the future.  Enjoy!

Western Skies of Montana

Western Skies
This month we had so many inspiring views from our front porch, I decided to create a video.  Sit back for a few minutes and relax with me on our Montana mountain.

Our rural lifestyle is peaceful, exciting, and dangerous. I see the most amazing wildlife and nature at it's best- and most violent.  The one thing I can say is... it is not dull. Visit us through my books, art, videos and more at www.quinnwildlifeart.com
