No More Family Fueds

Galatians 3:26 – For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.

If we are all children of God, then that makes us family. We are made children of God through our faith in Jesus Christ. We can all agree on that. So, how about we stop fighting and arguing against other denominations. We need to be the children of God and let our light shine, but we can’t do that when our family is fighting.

Shall Not Prevail

Matthew 16:18
And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it

When I hear this verse I think of a certain movie scene where the guy screams, you shall not pass. The guy knew the monster was going to try, but he still made it clear it would not happen. That is what Jesus is doing here. He is not saying the enemy won’t try. He is saying that even when they do with all their might, they will fail every time. The church that Christ built is stronger than anything the enemy has. So the next time the enemy comes at you, remind them that Jesus said they shall not prevail.

Yall Need Jesus

2 Chronicles 7:14

14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

People say that in order to fix the world, we need new politicians in office, be more accepting to others, or simply the world needs love. Well, what the world needs is Jesus. The world does not need more politicians to tell them more lies. It doesn’t need to be more accepting of everything because that attitude has destroyed morals. If it would get back to following Jesus, then it would have more love in it. The world needs to turn itself around, hit its knees, and seek some forgiveness from God. Then we will see the world change, but not until it what it needs, Jesus.

No One

Romans 8:31
What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

If you have the most powerful being on your side, the one who created the heavens and the earth, can anything truly harm you? The answer is no. So, stop looking at what the world could do to you and instead look at what God has already done. Look at the battles he has brought you through. Look at the times he has blessed you. Don’t forget that he gave his only begotten son to die for you. So, the answer is nothing, and no one can be against you and win.

Be Kind

Proverbs 15:1 – A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.

When someone says something wrong to you, do not go off on them. Instead, wither walk away or say something nice to them. That is how God wants us to be. He wants us to be kind to everyone. What good is our testimony if we lose our tempers and say things that don’t reflect Christ. So remember, if you can look at the person who is cussing and threating you and tell them that you love them, you are reflecting Christ.

Before Your Time Runs Out

Revelation 21:8 – But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Simply put, if you do not follow the word of God and have not accepted Jesus, then you will experience the second death. I encourage you that if you already know Jesus, to get closer to him. If you do not know him as your lord and savior then please get to know him. You are not promised tomorrow and putting off your salvation may be too late. So, if you know Jesus get closer to him, and if you do not know him or know someone who has yet to accept him, tell them about the love of our savior.

They Still Deny Him

Matthew 26:23

23 And the governor said, Why, what evil hath he done? But they cried out the more, saying, Let him be crucified.

Jesus stood before the people he came to redeem, and they betrayed him. They denied him. They did not want someone like him to be their messiah. He was just a lowly carpenter’s son. They wanted a mighty king. Well now we have a king that has conquered death hell and the grave. Jesus has risen to become the mighty king that Israel wanted, and yet people today don’t want him. He is went to the cross for them, rose from the grave for them, and is making intersections to God on their behalf. Yet, they still deny him. We need to pray that they open their eyes before it is to late.

Your Talent

Matthew 25:14-15

14 For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods.
15 And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey.

If you are someone who deals with stocks, do you stick around for a stock that has not made money? It doesn’t matter how many stocks you own of that company eventually, you will stop putting money into it. That is how God is with us. He gives us just so much. Then we can make that grow, or we can just set back and do nothing. If you make it grow, God will bless you with more. But why would he keep pouring water on a tree that is not bearing fruit? Now, one day, you will realize that the more work you put into the kingdom of heaven, the more you get out of it. So, are you taking what God gave you and making it grow, or are you just accepting that little bit?

Persecuted But Still Blessed

Matthew 5:10
10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

The sad thing is that all over the world, Christians are persecuted for just proclaiming Jesus. They are arrested, thrown in jail, and even murdered for following his teachings. If you are blessed enough to live where you can serve God, then you should be thankful. Many people across the globe face persecution that we can not imagine, but yet they still hold to their faith. We could learn something from them. We should learn to have the faith that they have. They have faith that even if they are facing death, they will still hold to Jesus. They know that when they die here, they will open their eyes in the presence of God. We need to pray for these people that God will keep his hand on them. However, we need to pray for those who live in a place where they don’t face persecution and find it an inconvenience if the temperate isn’t just right in the church. They forget people around the world would love to be able to worship God in the open.

The Cure For Addiction

1 Corinthians 10:13 – There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it

Addiction is one of the most horrible le things to see a loved one go through. It can be an addiction to anything from drugs to any other thing that they just can’t get away from. Some of them want to get clean but do not know where to start. If you are a child of God, you should know the way out. That is through Jesus Christ. God has given the addict a way out of their addiction. He did that by Jesus’s sacrifice. Your job as a Christian is to tell them about a man who can take away the need for whatever their vice is.
