Send Me

Isaiah 6:8

8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.

Before you utter the words here I am, send me, you better be ready to go wherever he sends you. It’s not always the places you feel comfortable, but it is the places God wants you to be. So, when you say those words, be ready. Because God will use you and send you to places you never thought you would go.

The Old Path

Jeremiah 6:16

16 Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein

In today’s time, no one wants the place ways. They say they are put dated. They claim that we need to be progressive. Those people are wrong. The old paths are the only way. There is no new pathway into heaven. There is no new way to be a Christian. The only way is the old path. The path that Jesus laid for us. The path that tells us to be Christlike. So stop looking for a new, easier way. I stead seek out the old path.

Stop Being Judgemental

Matthew 7:1-2
1 Judge not, that ye be not judged.

2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

One thing that Christians need to stop doing is being so judgmental. Don’t look down on someone because of their past mistakes and sins. We all have a past. Don’t turn your nose up at someone because they messed up. You can hit a stumbling block at any time. The sinner should feel compelled to come into church. When they do, they should feel the love of Christ and not the eyes of the congregation looking down at them. It is time to stop judging and start praying for the lost.

Have Faith While In The Storm

Matthew 8:24-25

24 And, behold, there arose a great tempest in the sea, insomuch that the ship was covered with the waves: but he was asleep.
25 And his disciples came to him, and awoke him, saying, Lord, save us: we perish.

Last night, while driving home, it began to rain. The rain and storm got so bad that I could barely see the road. I begin to think of the disciples in the boat. They were terrified even with Jesus with them in person. All they could see was the raging storm. In that moment of fear, they lost all faith. All they had to do was believe and have faith. All they had to do was keep moving. In life, there will be days that a battle will come at you, and you will feel like there is no end in sight. There is an end. You just have to keep moving and keep your faith in Christ. He will quiet the storm.

More Than Just Looking Like A Christian

2 Timothy 3:5-7
5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

You will come across those who claim to be Christians. They will talk to you about church and how they love the Lord. However, you find that they do not live the life. They want the title of Christian, but they do not want to put in the work of a Christian. Be careful about these people. Some you can reach, but others have convinced themselves that they are perfectly fine. They do not realize that you have to have Christ in your life. The best thing to do is pray that God opens their eyes.

East To West

Psalms 103:12
As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.

People may remind you of your past. They will remind you of the wrongs you have done, but God forgives you. He removes those sins to a point that they can never be held against you. Just think about it. You can start walking east, and you will never get to the west. God loves you so much that he forgives you, no matter how bad of a person you have been. So, turn to God and let him cast your sins as far as the east is from the west.

Vapour Of Life

James 4:14

14 Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.

James 4:14

14 Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.

My father tells that the mark in between the day you are born and the day you died on the tombstone represents your life. That short little mark, the life you lived, is all that matters. In your life, the decisions you make, the people you help, and if you serve God is what will matter. You will answer for your own life and no one else. When that short little mark is etched into your tombstone, it is too late to make the right choices. At that time, it is too late to turn to God because judgment is already passed. So, while you are still living and before that mark is etched, make the right choice to serve God.

The Battle Is Already Won

2 Chronicles 20:15 – And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the LORD unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God’s.

Stop stressing over your battles. Stop stressing over bills and things that you know God can handle. Stop acting like you are fighting these battles alone. Give them to God and know that he has already won.

Baptized By The Holy Ghost

Matthew 3:11

11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire

John preached that Jesus would come. He preached that when he did, he would make a way for us to be cleansed of our sins. Well, he came and made the way. He died on the cross and rose from the grave. He defeated death and hell. Now, all you have to do is accept him and follow the one who came to set the captive free

A New Breath Of Life

Ezekiel 37:3-4

3 And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord God, thou knowest.
4 Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the Lord.

Can the dried up churches across the nation live again? Can the Christians who used to have a zeal to serve God receive life again? Can the broken heart rise up, pick up the cross, and find their purpose in Christ? The answer is yes. You know, when you were at your lowest point living in sin, God gave you a new life. He gave you purpose. Now, churches have started closing their doors. The enemy thinks he has won, but the dry bones can have a new life breathed into them. The dry bones can and will receive a new life. All it takes is for the men and women of God to speak to the dry bones
