In His Hands

Job 12:10
10 In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind

The only thing you need to know is that God has his hand over you. If you profess Christ, then your soul rests in the hand of God. Knowing that you are held in the one true God’s hand, you should know that nothing can harm you because you are held by him.

Take Care Of Your Family

1 Timothy 5:8 – But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.

One of the main ways for a man to take care of his family is to open his Bible and live by words written in the book. If you do this, you will work to put food on the table, pay your bills, and live the life of a Christian in front of your children. The Bible tells a man exactly how to live. It tells him to work, live, and care for his family. So, if you live by the bible, you will supply for your family.

Mocked But Still Blessed

1 Peter 3:14 – But and if ye suffer for righteousness’ sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled;

If you are mocked for standing on the Word of God, then count yourself blessed. If you have family that hates you because you are not progressive, then you are blessed. If you stand on the word of God, you will be hated. People will mock you and call you a bigot. Pray for them because what they do not understand is that we belong to the one and only living God.

Trust

Proverbs 3:5 – Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

There will come a time in your life when you have nothing left to do but trust in God. You will look around and notice that nothing else can help you. I’ve had this moment while setting at Vanderbilt, praying for God to save my son. I could do nothing, and I could not understand why God was allowing this to, but I had to trust him to get my family through it. Realizing that was like turning a light on. I felt helpless, but I also knew that God was in control. You will face these days in your life, and when you do, trust in God.

His Promise

Isaiah 58:11

11 And the LORD shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.

This verse should show you one thing, God will supply for you. He can make a stream come from a rock. He can make mana fall in the desert. He can give you the money to pay your bills. He can give you food whe. Your cabinets are empty. All you have to do is accept him.

Wonderfully Made

Psalms 139:14

14 I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.

Every one of us is made by God. He had a purpose for us before we were born. So stop thinking you are useless. Stop letting people make you feel like you are nothing. God put you on this planet for a reason. Rejoice and know that you are wonderfully made by God.

Great News

Isaiah 52:7 – How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!

One thing you need to know is that God is still in control. Do not think that the enemy will win. Do not think that we will ever face defeat. God reigns supreme. You may go through hard times, but God is guiding you through them. So, know the good news, God is still in control.

No Problem Is Impossible

Exodus 14:21
And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the LORD caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided

Stop looking at your problem as if it is impossible to overcome. Our heavenly Father works in the impossible. He can carry you over mountains. He can shield you from storms. He can even part a sea for you. When you realize this, you find that there is nowhere the enemy can back you into.

The Word Of God

Matthew 4:4
4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

If you want to be filled with God, you have to take his word. His word is what gives us life. His word is what gives us hope. His word gives us the promise of eternal life. So, take his word and learn to live by it.

The Holy Spirit

John 14:16 – And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

Jesus ascended into heaven and now sets at the right hand of the Father. However, he did not leave us alone. He gave us the Holy Spirit to co.fort, lead, and guide us. He made sure that we would have guidance. It is that little voice telling you to pray for the sinner. It is that push that gets you to the alter. So, learn to follow the Holy Spirit. Know that it will only lead you to the direction that God wants you to follow. It will not lead you into sin. It will only lead you closer to God.
