Help Us With Our Unbelief

Mark 9:23-24

23 Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.

 24 And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.

How many times have you wanted to pray for something, but you chose not to because you didn’t believe it could happen? All of us have been there. Before you give up, first ask God to help you with your doubt. Doubting what God will and can do for you is one of the ways the enemy keeps us in a state of bondage. Know that nothing is impossible with God. Jesus said that all things are possible to those that believe. So, believe in the one that speaks and the storm has to obey.

Stir Up The Gift Of Salvation

1 Timothy 1:6-8

6 Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands.
7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
8 Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God;

It is time that the church begins to stir up the gift of the Lord. It is time the church starts being open and truthful of our salvation. The church needs to stop living in fear of the world because Jesus overcame the world. Remember where your salvation comes from. It comes from the one true living God. The one who rescued his people out of bondage. The one who spoke and the world came into existence. The one who sent his only begotten son to die for our sins. So, stop living in fear, stir up the gifts, and stop hiding your salvation.

Grace

Exodus 33:13

13 Now therefore, I pray thee, if I have found grace in thy sight, shew me now thy way, that I may know thee, that I may find grace in thy sight: and consider that this nation is thy people.

If you asked God if you have found grace in his sight, what would be his answer? Have you lived by his word? Have you done what he has led you to do? If you want to find that grace, then you have to obey God. You have to go where he sends you. You have to follow the teachings of Jesus. One day, you will stand before God. I pray you have received his grace.

The Unrighteous

1 Corinthians 6:9-11

9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,
10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

The verses explain themselves. You have to be righteous to get your inheritance from God. You can not straddle the fence, nor can you live a life of sin. You have to live and walk righteously before God. You have to let God clean up your life. You have to remove the sin out of it. To inherit the kingdom of heaven, you must live righteous.

False Witness

Exodus 20:16

16 Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.

We will hear people gossip about their neighbors, even if it is a lie. People will find out that they have messed up and automatically start talking down about them. It doesn’t matter how good that neighbor has been. People will still talk about them. The Bible speaks against this. It tells us not to lie on our neighbors. We are not supposed to spread rumors nor try to make them look like awful people. So, the next time you decide to talk about your neighbors, remember that you are in the wrong.

There Is Only One Way

John 14:6

6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Money will bot get you into heaven. Good deeds will not get you a ticket to life eternal. Being a good person won’t do it either. The only way to heaven is through Jesus Christ. You have to accept him. Through him, prayers are answered. Through Christ, our sins are forgiven. He is the way we all must go to get to the Father. Stop looking for an alternative route. You won’t find one. The only way is Jesus Christ.

Learn To Listen To Others

James 1:19 – Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:

Proverbs 18:13 – He that answereth a matter before he heareth it, it is folly and shame unto him.

When someone sets down to tell you about their problems, most of the time, they do not want you to chime in. They just want to talk. They need to vent. Many people will come to Christians to talk because they need to vent, and a Christian is supposed to be loving and caring. They know we can pray for their problems. They don’t need your input every few seconds. So, learn to just set and listen to them. Learn to just let them get things off their chest. Then, if they ask for advice, that is when you can speak up.

Peaceful Mind

John 14:27 – Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid

We all have those days that our minds are moving a hundred miles an hour. We can’t stop our thoughts, and we feel overwhelmed. Take a breath and turn to Jesus. Make him the one thought that you can focus on. Once you have done this, your mind will slow down and you can feel the peace around you. So, on those bad days, take a minute and focus on Jesus.

Sanctified

John 17:17-18

17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
18 As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.

When you give your heart to God, you have to learn to live a sanctified life. That means removing sin and living pure before God. You do this by praying and reading the word of truth. You will find perfect instructions on how to live sanctified. So get in the word and be sanctified by the word of God.

I Am That I Am

Exodus 3:14

14 And God said unto Moses, I Am That I Am: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I Am hath sent me unto you.

God never said he was, nor did he say I used to be. God said I Am That I Am. That is a present past and future statement. That is a statement saying I am the same God that formed Adam out of the dust of the earth, who led Moses out of Egypt, tore down the walls of Jericho, sent his son to die on the cross, and sent his holy spirit on the day of pentecost. He has never changed. Stop thinking of the old church services and start having them today. Stop talking about the old days of healing and start laying hands on the sick, and they will be healed. He is still the I Am. He is still moving. We just stopped moving with him. God is starting a moment on his people today that we have been yearning for. Just look at the revivals sparking up across our country. So, get ready because the I Am That I Am is starting a movement.
