Working on the next Grand Beast Novella

Like the title suggests, I am working on the next Grand Beast novella, the wolf. If you all have been keeping up with my twitter etc, you already know what the focus character will look like.

With that said, I won't lie and say that this once a month schedule hasn't been killing me a little. Writing 30K-40K words a month might not seem like much, but it can be a bit troublesome.

I missed my deadline by a couple of days last time, and even if Grand Beast is slightly easier to write than Monster Girl Carnival, I don't know if I will be able to keep up.

Still going to try either way.

Monster Girl Carnival 4 is out!

It was released yesterday, but I waited until Goodreads got a good link for it. Unfortunately that never happened so I will just link the amazon preview here.

Monster Girl Carnival 4 May be a few days late.

Sorry to report, but due to personal issues with life and work. Monster Girls Carnival 4 may miss tomorrows release date.

There really isn't an excuse besides the fact that I overestimated the amount of time I had and how much I could write in a single span of time.

It will no doubt be finished between the 22-25th of this month. However to say that I'm not a bit disappointed in myself would be an understatement.

So, the only thing I can say is sorry.

Negativity and the Lack of Growth From It

This isn't really about writing, but more a depressing tread I had noticed from places like youtube.

The trend of ranting or making a negative video about someone or something. While I never experienced this, by either giving or receiving end of it, I feel it's a bad habit some people tend to fall into.

Making a large video attack someone or something you dislike isn't healthy for the community you are in nor is it good for growth as a content creator. Such things are rarely critique and more a hurtful vent.

Mostly because such videos are rarely about the content someone makes, but rather them as a person. Ultimately making it useless content, it's closer to a hit piece than anything else.

What's worse is most people tend to do this sort of thing for views among other things. But such fans or growth seen from those kinds of activities can never be sustaining. Mostly because the fanbase for that type of content rarely cares who it's from.

They are sharks, hungry for the next piece of gossip or person to feel superior to.

I guess what I am saying, build a base off of positivity and helping others. Make content that you are proud of and talk about pieces of art if you enjoy doing so, whether it be books, movies, games, etc.

Do not try to build it by tearing others down, or by attacking others in an attempt to boost yourself. Not only is that popularity fleeting, but it may even be harmful to you later on.

And if that is really the only content that you can create/consider valuable, it may be time to look at yourself.

I finished up my Commission

Meaning I can completely devote the rest of my time to finishing up Monster Girl Carnival 4. Which is good, probably sound like I'm repeating myself, but I will try to get that project finished by the 20th of this month.

I do wonder if this monthly schedule really matters. Erotica tends to sell fast, but as a result drops from rankings even quicker, meaning that you have to constantly be writing more to stay relevant.

I enjoy it, but sometimes I wonder if taking a break would be helpful. Though, if I wasn't writing for Amazon I'd probably just write something for myself, so it's not like I would actually have a break.

Schedule for upcoming releases.

Sorry I have not posted much, still working on a few things. Between spending time with friends and family and working on commissions, I have had my hands full.

With that being said I do have a planned schedule for upcoming releases among other things for the next few months, mostly to help balance out my releases.

Next release will be Monster Girl Carnival 4, as I stated in the previous post.

After that will be another Grand Beast release.

Then I will release another The World of Fur we Live in.

Then another Grand Beast release. I will do that schedule until Grand beast is finished. So the releases should look like this.

I am mostly doing this because Grand Beast is more story focused, and will have an ending. While Monster Girl Carnival and The World of Fur We Live in are anthology series, meaning there isn't really an over-arching story.

Also, I will try to get Monster Girl Carnival released by the 20th of this month. But things do keep popping up, I really happy everyone is being patient with me regardless.

Been busy, but writing is still going at a steady pace.

Hopefully I will get to around 7500 words tomorrow on Monster Girl Carnival. On an unrelated note, I been using this blogs closer to mini post/updates rather than true blogs.

When I see other writers having these large formed detailed blog post it kind of makes me nervous. My post usually just talks about what I'm up to, where I am at with my writing and the general release date.

I guess it's because I don't have as many topics to talk about in detail. Not that I mind, I like making update post and general info.

It makes me feel I'm taking my readers with me as I create my novella.

Monster Girl Carnival 4 is being written.

Monster Girl Carnival 4 is being written at the moment. It's going to be staring a Zombie maid, or rather a girl that was reanimated and forced to be a maid.

I will state that making Monster Girl Carnival standalone stories instead of a continual story is really helpful, even though I said that before.

I might be a bit late finishing this one compared to Grand Beast. Just because I've been working my second job a lot lately.

I'll try to keep my release schedule consistent at the very least.

It's my Birthday today.

Not much else to say, other than I will probably be taking a break from writing to try and enjoy myself.

I will focus on writing later on this week and I currently have started a few drafts of my next novella...or rather I am still deciding on what monster girl to use.

I also still have to stay focused on my new job and balancing my time.

I just hope I can get it out in time like Grand Beast.
