Slight change of Plan with the Collab

There will be a slight change of plan with the collab. Instead of the normal large novel we were planning on releasing, we are going to do 3 shorter novellas.

Not only does this allow us to get feedback on each individual section of the story, but allows us to release more content and make the story slightly longer.

Originally it was planned to be 70000-80000 words, but with the new freedom I can make it about 120000 words.

The first novella should be released at the end of the month.

This will also be the first time my content isn't exclusive to amazon. Which is weird, but refreshing.

Editing old stuff and working on the Collab

It goes without saying, but editing some of my old things is taking a bit longer than I expected. Luckily I have some editors helping me along with the editing process and making things go smoothly.

They tell me what I can improve on and help spice up my prose and grammar.

Other than that, I am still working on the collab and it is going...semi smoothly. I write a little everyday, but the Christmas deadline might be a bit much.

For what I have to cover trying to crunch it down to 80K words in a handful of months is going to be troubling.

Nothing much happening right now.

I am so used to writing a blog post about my progress, that it is weird to say that nothing much has happened since I last posted.

I am a little over 1/5 done the large project I am working on, and I should hopefully be done by Christmas.

Besides that, everything is going smoothly, just wanted to catch everyone up and say I wasn't dead.

Finally Got a Proper Editor

It is strange, but I finally took the steps to get a proper editor. Up to this point I've been doing all the editing myself, usually within a span of a week.

However, from both comments and my own personal feelings it was apparent to me that that wasn't good enough.

I make enough money off of my writing that an extra $60-70 a month for my novels isn't a big deal.

Though this means, that novellas are going to take slightly longer to produce. However I personally think it will be worth it for the overall quality increase.

Working on a Large Project

Currently working on a rather large project that some of you on twitter have seen me mention.

This is both super exciting and unfortunate since it also means a lot of my original content has to be put on the back burner.

Not that I mind, I am super exciting to be working with Silumansoft for the novelization of their game even if it won't be one to one.

Just wanted to give everyone here a heads up just in case they don't follow me on twitter and get information from my blog posts.

Grand Beast: Book 2: The Wolf Is Out and future schedule

Grand Beast: Book 2: The Wolf

It has been a long time coming and I am happy I finally was able to get it released.

With that said, it should be noted that I have no plans on releasing anything this November, mostly because I a currently doing a collab and writing a full length novel.

That said, the novel will be released on amazon as well once I finish it. So, it's not like I won't be releasing any content.

Still working on Grand Beast 2

It's going slightly smoother than I expected and it should be out for sure during the first week of October. I am over 62% done with the writing and will probably push that towards 75% by the end of the upcoming week.

I thought about releasing a shorter novella for the second one, but decided against it. I want Grand Beast to be a consistent 35000-40000 words on each release.

Even if that means taking a hit in sales and losing some momentum on releases.

The next Grand Beast may be delayed for a few weeks

Due to personal issues and just some trouble writing I may have to delay the release of my next novella until early next month.

I'm having some issues with how I want to write some scenes and I'm only at the 50% mark of where I want to length.

Once again I really don't like doing this, and at most I might have to push it back to the first week of October.

Despite it being unlikely I'm not going to stop trying to finish it before the month is over.

On an unrelated note, I finally got a Goodreads link to the Monster Girl Carnival bundle.



Monster Girl Carnival

Sorry for not posting a lot.

Nothing bad has happened or anything like that. I've just been really busy so far and haven't had a lot of time to post about this.

I am only about 3/8 done my current novella and I need to start focusing on that if I want it to be done this month.

That's mostly it.

Still not sure about making a Monster Girl Carnival Bundle.

I was planning on just making one giant bundle once I was finished with the series, but considering how things are going it may be better to do the same bundle style as Those Who Love Monster girls.

I will mostly likely decide in the next few days.
