About to start on the next Novella
Grand Beast
Grand Beast: Book 1: The Bear
Did alright for its release. Better than I expected as the start of a new series.
However, with that said, I won't be entirely focusing on it, the next Novella I will release will be in the Monster Carnival series, since I haven't had time to write for that a lot.
Currently thinking of which type of monster girl write about as well as some other things.
Sorry, I don't post as much blog post as before, not only do I not have the time but also I don't have as many topics.

Grand Beast: The Bear is up on Amazon

Grand Beast: Book 1: The Bear
Grand Beast: The Bear is now up on Amazon.
To say it was fun to write would be an understatement. It also was one of my longer novellas, being 40K and not being a bundle.
There are some similarities to Lord of Dusk, but I do think there are also enough differences for it to stand on its own.
Writing might slow down, and my next project is going to be another Monster Girl Carnival release hopefully sometime next month.

New Novella is currently pending.
The new Novella I am writing is currently pending. It has been kind of a rough month for me, so I hope this does well.
It is somewhat of a basic story, but I think it will be fun with nice character designs.
I'll post another update when it's up proper.

Writing portion of the new Novella is Finished
The writing portion of the upcoming novella has been finished today. To say it was tougher than usual would have been an understatement.
It is going to be slightly longer than my usual novellas like I said before. It will be around 40K instead of the 25-30K I usually write.
It will also be the start of a new series like stated before.
I also started a new part time job. I would like to say that it won't get in the way of my writing, but I have no idea how my schedule will be.
I know for a fact that it won't affect the release date of this novella which should be on the 15-16th depending on everything.

The importance of reviews etc
It might not seem like much, but it is always important to remember that there are people on the other side of the screen when you write a review, both a positive or negative one.
Not saying you should hold back harsh critique, more that being just treat others as human beings. Even if you hate something try not to personally attack the writer or creator.
There were probably plenty of things going in their head when creating it. If you truly disliked it, at least give a decent review and same for liking it.
Every little review, both good and bad weighs on people's minds in a positive or negative way. A bad review may cause people to hesitate writing and a positive review may give them the push they need to finish their project.
I know leaving a review may not always be possible depending on the website and rules (Amazon $50 rule etc) but even going on a site like good reads and leaving a rating etc can help.

Do Not Be Afraid to Talk To Your Friends or Family
I think we as a society has gotten the notion that maturity is keeping in all your negative feelings while grinning and bearing it. While that may work in some situations it is also healthy to vent every once in awhile.
Talk to your friend, fellow writers or family. If you are feeling down talk to someone. Whether the problem is big or small.
Keeping it in, letting it eat away at your will to work will just make you feel worse and eat up the time you could have spent doing something productive or fun.
I often fell into the trap of not talking and just letting things build up and bury my thoughts.
Finally when I had a simple conversation with someone, I felt much better. While it didn't completely remove the worry or pain, it did make me feel better.
So on this July 4th, don't be afraid to open yourself up to others etc.
Whether it be online or in person, just talk. You'll be happy that you did.

Any Suggestions as Readers?
I was just wondering if anyone who reads these read any of my works. What would you like to see me improve on? I know grammar is a huge sticking point that I need to improve on.
But what about story structure, flow, how plot-heavy somethings could be? Perhaps even some prose suggestions
The reason I moved to Monster Girl Carnival type of storytelling is because I found anthologies a bit easier to write.
However, I wonder how people see things like Lord of Dusk that have a bit more action in it.
If you have any suggestions or even just general thoughts feel free to comment below or message me on twitter.

Still haven't thought of a name yet!
Progress on the new Novella has been really good. Sadly I still haven't thought of a name yet. The in progress name is Grand Beast, but I don't know how that will attract readers.
I'm have fun writing it, and unless anything comes up I should easily make the deadline.
On a less positive note, the lump on my lower back has returned, meaning that the cyst that I had removed not too long ago might also be back. Not only that, but the pain of sitting or lying down as returned.
I hope it's just swelling due to the skin in that area recovering and it should pass soon, I really don't want to go through another surgery to get it removed or even the process.
This shouldn't hamper my writing of course, and if it is returning I'll make sure to wait until the next novella release before even going back to the doctor.

Feeling much better!
I am feeling much better lately compared to earlier this month. It's hard to say why, but I got a huge burst of energy. I've been doing a ton of writing, got the cover to my next Novella ready and someone bought my entire book catalog last week.
So I'm feeling pretty good.
About 60% through my current novella so expect it sometime next month.
I still haven't decided the name for it yet, so I need to get around to that soon.

Release Window for new Novella and Collection
Hey, the release window for my new Novella that I've been working on for the past month should be July 15th, this time I should actually make it this time luckily and expect it to be around 5000 words longer than usual.
Also, Those Who Love Monster Girls Complete Collection is out on Amazon for those who are interested.
Those Who Love Monster Girls
It is mostly for those who haven't bough the 3 bundles and the finale. It is kind of a way for me to wrap up my connection to the series.
I may try to do a spin-off later or something, but I want to focus on Monster Girl Carnival.
Speaking of which, like I said before. I'm not planning on making bundles with Monster Girl Carnival. The stories are just so separated that I don't think it would work unless it's the complete series.
